After opening Supreme Commander, launch task manager.

  • Left Click "Details" on the left side menu
  • Rick Click "SupremeCommander.exe"
    Left Click "Set Affinity"
  • Uncheck "CPU 0"
    Click "OK"


In Game
This one is well documented, but still seems required.

once the game has launched press the tilde key "~" usually next to the "1" key on your keyboard.

type "d3d_WindowsCursor" and press enter. a message will state that "toggled d3d windows cursor is now on"

play game.

Thank you, this solved my problem. Before the fix, the game was unplayable for me.
