I first played through the game on "Normal" to get to know everything.
Then I played the NG+ playthrough on "Normal" and only with the plasma cutter. I learned of focusing on throwables and learning how much ammo you save. I completely overlooked the effectiveness of poles and claws in the first playthrough. Btw. you will only find ammunition for the plasma cutter if you have no other weapon with you!
Finally, I completed the "Impossible" difficulty level, which isn't actually that impossible. By the end, I had fully upgraded armor and the plasma cutter, my pockets were full, and still had 190,000 in the bank.
Something else that could possibly be added to the guide regarding saving. You can further protect yourself by disabling cloud synchronization and then regularly copying the save folder "C:\users\*username*\documents\Dead Space (2023)\settings" away and backing it up when needed.
Thanks again for the excellent work!
I think they are just secret optional rooms & should be free game to loot.
Going for impossible + one gun in my first run down actually permitted me to reduce the playthroughs to two, but I really do not recommend it to new players :V
