Introduction
Welcome all Pilgrims to this Guide I have constructed.

I will not be writing an essay and just WARNING ⚠ this guide may contain Spoilers if you haven't played before, please for your own sake play the game and experience it before trying to learn all the monsters and stuff. Thank you.
The Beginning
At the very start of your Journey You (and your friends) will be provided with 2 Lanterns, 2 Torches, a Name Tag and a Crystal on the table, next to it is a chest containing a piece of Loot costing 10£. You should always get all of the items inside your cart which you are provided with by The King.

The Guide
Behind You is a Guide, upon interacting with him You will get a brief explanation on what you have to do (note: it is recommended to listen to what he has to say on your first playthrough).

The Wagon
In the Cart you got a Barrel of infinite Lamp oil (which you use to refill your Lantern), a Chalkboard with 3 pieces of chalk and a mask above it (preferably don't use up the chalk because it might prove useful later on along with The Mask). Coming up the Ladder you can see a Pigeon locked up in a cage. Bear in mind you should not let it out as it will end your run and you should only do it once you have reached your Destination (Spoiler alert. At 110km the path comes to an end and you can now release the pigeon successfully beating the game).
Basic Mechanics
Light Sources
Your number #1 friend is a light source, either it being a Torch or a Lantern it is at most important to have at least one of these (You are NOT going to see anything without a light source).

Torches
While holding you can lit them with another source of fire for example an already lit torch inside a Dungeon (note: you can't lit your torch using another players torch).
Torches will go out overtime, which means you need to re-lit them from time to time, but don't you worry because you can lit a torch which there are plenty of scathered around the Dungeons walls and re-lit your torch using it.
With a simple click of your left mouse button you can swing your Torch which does come in handy but will also use up some of the torchs Lifetime.

Lanterns
Lanterns having much bigger range than torches and also working without the need to hold them in your hand I will say are worse than Torches because you only have a limited time use before the oil lamp runs out and you will have to go back to the cart and refill it in order to use the Lantern again, also you can not "attack" with the lantern. When playing with 4 players the 2 people with Lanterns should not use them mindlessly only using them as a last hope (note: You can lit torches on the walls with lanterns making your friends able to re-lit their torches)

Reviving Mechanics
Throughout your Journey you will die a lot and the knowledge on how to bring your fellow Pilgrims back to life is a must know.
First thing you need to revive your dead friend is His/Hers Body, if you can't pick up the body (in some scenarios) you need a Mask (Can be bought from the Merchant for 30£) and a piece of Chalk (Can be bought from the Merchant for 10£).
Once you gathered all of the listed things you need to find a Ritual Circle (commonly found somewhere around the Entrance/Exit of a dungeon and at the Merchant).
Place the body or the Mask on the Ritual Circle and with the chalk you need to draw out the Pentagram (It doesn't have to be perfect but the circle has to be done), once You're done the Circle will lit up with particles and your friend will come back to life. (Important note: You can see if your teammates are alive by looking at the candles in the Wagon, if they are lit that means the person is alive and if they aren't, that means they're dead)

Clock and Travelling
The Clock in your Wagon is very important as it shows you the current time of day (Day, Night and Bloodmoon).
Throughout your journey you will stumble upon an Entity called The Stalker (The Giant) (which I will be talking about later on). At some point You are going to stumble upon a Gate, You'll need to go through the busted wall on the right and open the Gate making you able to progress further (note: I recommend You close the Gate after you have gone through it with your Cart).
The Merchant
The Merchant also known as "Melvin" is a non-hostile NPC that serves a role of the shopkeeper. You can buy numerous things that will be very helpful in your journey.

Monsters
The Stalker
The Stalker also known as "The Giant" is an entity that follows your wagon and attacks during the Bloodmoon, It starts to follow your from around ~6km into the run, to avoid getting killed hide in the front of your Wagon near the steering wheel. As of January 2025 you can get rid of him at the gate by simply closing it before he comes through.

The Alien
The Alien also known as "The Imp" or "Goblin" is commonly found in every dungeon, they are small creatures that roam around the whole dungeon looking for The Crystal, be careful as they will aproach and steal the crystal from your inventory when you have it, you can get retrieve it by running after them and stealing it back, when you steal the Crystal from the Alien it will get on it's knees and make a sad noise. This Monster can be killed with a Spike Trap.

The Scutter
The Scutter also known as "The Lick" or "The Doggo" is an entity which walks on all fours, although it moves quite slow, when it spots a player it will sprint with a long cooldown. This Monster can be killed with 2 shots of a crossbow or a Spike Trap.

The Burning Man
The Burning Man also known as "The Statue" is an entity which resembles the SCP-173 known as "The Sculpture" or "Peanut". The Burning Man will only move when there aren't any players with direct vision of the entity (which means if you go behind a wall and look in his direction he can move as long as you can't see him directly). The Entity can be killed with a Bucket of water bought from a Merchant for 100£

The Doll
The Doll also known as "The Matryoshka" is a passive entity which sits on the floor of a dungeon and will not attack unless the player takes the Loot from its inside. It can contain one of four pieces of loot which are:
Name
Value
Ruined Crown
123£
Gold Bar
125£
Ruined Helmet
150£
Ruined Sword
200£
The Doll remains in a calm state and will enter phase 2 after the player takes the loot and it will try to crush your head with its powerful headbutts. The Doll is quite slow but it has a third Phase which makes the Doll sprint for a couple of seconds, co be careful (note: Preferably take the dolls treasure last, only when you have gathered all of the other valuables from the dungeon).

The White Man
The White Man also known as "The Invincible" or "The Pale" is The most dangerous monster of them all, it's Tall and Pale and extremely fast.
If you see it immediately turn back and run, if it saw you and now is chasing you, either try and trap it in the Spike Trap or you're dead (note: it is said that it can be scared off if you pull out your torch when it comes near although I can't confirm).

The Mimics
The Mimics are entities that spawn when a player dies, the dead body stands up and starts to roam the Dungeon/Village and will play any sound from the voice chat that it recorder (if you talk on the vc in-game). When they spot you, they will try and run up to you, when they do they grab you and kill you converting you into yet another Mimic. You can kill it with Spears or Crossbow Bolts. (No image yet)

The Eyes
The Eyes also known as "The Lurking Eyes" is an entity that appears when you wander too far from the Wagon. It'll Whisper to your ears and get progressively closer to you until it kills you with no mercy. There is no known counter to this entity other than not wandering too far from the Wagon.
‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎
The Fireflies
The Fireflies are an entity that fly around the Dungeon and once you get close enough they fly over, deal a small amount of damage, and dissapear right after.

Traps

The Spike Trap
The Spike Trap is a common trap in the Dungeons and Villages, if you step on it you're dead (note: you can use them to kill various entities like the doggo, the alien or the white man, also you can throw a piece of loot to bait the trap and it will be disabled forever).

Spiders Nest
The Spiders Nest is another common trap on the ceilings of the Dungeons, it emits a buzzing sound warning you about its position, if the player walks directly below the Nest it will fall on their head and proceed to slowly kill them, You can burn the nest yourself by swinging your Torch, You dont have to jump to reach it, if you run below the Nest it will fall down on the floor and the Spiders will proceed to follow the nearest player dealing a low amount of damage, again you can burn them with the Torch.

Trap Door
The Trap Door is a trap that is found on the floor following a huge blade "hidden" in the wall right next to it, when a player steps on it (or throws an item on it) the trap door will activate and the blade will immediately cut in half any players on its path, afterwards it will return to its previous state.
Walk on the side without the blade and You'll be good.
Random Funfacts
  • You can NOT kill a Mimic with a Spike Trap
  • You can exit the Wagon through the left windows (the right ones don't work)
  • You don't have to close the Wagon Doors when the Stalker comes, just make sure to be at the back of the Wagon
  • There are 5 different Villages that can spawn
  • The player count in one lobby is infinite as of January 3rd 2025.
  • Your Torch doesnt need "fire" in order to light up another Torch, if your torch "runs out" and you dont switch to another inventory slot, you can still light another torch and it will light your torch aswell.

The Pale Man, thankfully, can now (or previously?) be killed with 2 crossbow shots! Unfortunately that's essentially spending 30£ (not including the 150£ price of the crossbow) per Pale Man you kill, so it's definitely smarter to run if you can.
