Introduction
Take Me To The Dungeon is card game where you and Una venture together trying to reach the bottom of the Underground Labyrinth (aka Dungeon). While the game does contain adult contents, the gameplay itself is very enjoyable as well!

Seeing the recent epilogue update has provided lots of contents, and there doesn't seem to be a guide in English yet, I figure I would write my own here!

Hopefully this will help people who is having trouble, to get the most enjoyment from this amazing game!

Accessing the Epilogue Contents
To access the epilogue contents, you need to have reached the Happy Ending first. If you haven't already, please come back after that!

How to reach the Happy Ending
  1. In Floor 61~80, choose to tell Una about her sister in honesty
  2. In Floor 81~100, choose to tell Una about her sister in honesty (again)
  3. Finish floor 100

Note that even if you have picked the wrong option and reached the Normal Ending instead, you can still redo and choose a different option (in Una's House) afterwards. From there, simply finish floor 100 for the 2nd time, and congrats! You should be reaching the Happy Ending by then, and the epilogue contents should now become available.

"Limit Break" Mechanics
As the epilogue becomes accessible, you can now enter floor 101 for the main story conclusion. But don't head there yet! You want to at least optimise your deck a bit more with the new Limit Break mechanics, and perhaps try out the new cards as well.

Limit Break simply lets you put more ★ into certain modifiers. Below is by no means a conclusive list, I just want to quickly mention some potential:

  • Splash goes from 90% to 140%, so you actually deal more damage to untargetted enemies
  • Charge Up goes from 6 to 15, basically 2.5x as effective. For example, my Aerial Slash build now gains 150 stacks instead of 60 stacks per turn
  • Focus goes from 3 to 6, doubling the damage potential of Ultimate Magic, and often time turning it 0-cost without any extra effort

So basically, all your favourite builds can become twice as powerful, so make sure to tinker your deck a bit before heading out!

(Sadly Halo and Surplus are unaffected...)
New Cards in Shop
If you check the shop as well, there are actually 10 new cards available now. This section would briefly go over what these new cards do, and a few recommended ways to use them.

--------------------------------------------------

Bravado is the first card we have, that can return previously discarded card upon use. This effectively means we no longer have to worry about losing fights due to running out of card (i.e. lack of firepower). You can also use it to max out your Halo within the same battle, e.g. by repeatedly discarding Fireball and retrieving with Bravado.

Good Synergy
  • Breath Therapy, big heal based on lost HP
  • Chivalrous Defense, gain shield based on lost HP
  • First-Aid Kit, may use to fine-tune HP% to be as low as possible
  • Utmost rune, effectively turn Bravado into a 0-cost card. Also works with Armor of Saints to reduce damage (?!)
  • Crisis rune, lets you gain Shield & Focus for free!

https://youtu.be/3w6G8vRID9k
(This demonstrates mitigating the self-inflicted damage, while still gaining over 400 shields in one turn)

--------------------------------------------------

Negative Energy is what I would consider the 4th "big damage card" (after Tiger Slash, Shield Bash, Ultimate Magic). The damage is based on how much debuffs Una has at the moment, including the DoT that you can self-inflict with the 3 new Ritual cards. Just be careful not to die by accident.

Note that over time, the Bleed and Burn status are halved per turn, whereas your Poison status would not change so long as it's below 100. This kinda means your damage potential does increase a bit over time, rather than resetting like with Ultimate Magic.

https://youtu.be/GOOT10l5hVY
(1200 damage per turn... pretty powerful if you ask me!)

--------------------------------------------------

The remaining cards are all somewhat niche, and simply not particularly useful, at least for now. I figure I should at least give them a quick mention here:

  • Soul Explosion deals damage based on current HP
  • Lunging Slash costs HP to attack
  • Pilfer lets you steal treasure, money, and rune
  • Power of Shadows effectively gives your next attack the "splash" effect, but only 25% to all enemies (including the enemy you've just hit)
  • Feigned Attack comes with Auto Discard, which could be useful in a particular build...
How the "Summon Cards" Work
Okay I swear this is the last thing to read before actually letting you play. Basically, you can now include 1 Summon card to your deck at a time, which is effectively your 11th card. Don't be intimidated by the lengthy tool tip... it's actually quite simple!

Quick rundown of the Summon mechanics
  1. Use the "Summon" card to call your ally
  2. Use the "Union" card to activate the 4-card cycle
  3. Until end of battle, every 4 card would be buffed by the "Blessing" effect
(Effect is enhanced if Union card is used again)

(These cards technically have different in-game names, but I like the name Union more, since it's more clear that the attack requires your ally to be present, and it deals big damage.)

https://youtu.be/cJm7XOePRkw

That's essentially the gist of it! Union card has good damage potential, and both its condition plus the Blessing effect itself are different between each ally. I will go over each of them eventually, and provide a brief comparison at the end.

You first start with the Succubus Queen card, and all others would be unlocked as you finish the Epilogue dungeon. In other words, you wouldn't be able to change to a different Summon during your first visit to Floor 101+, so I would like to leave the explanations and comparisons for later instead.
Final Floors of the Dungeon
After experimenting with Limit Break and new cards, you should be ready to challenge the final floors of the dungeon! This gives a conclusion to the main story, and feels somewhat more of a "victory lap", since the gameplay is roughly the same as before. Good luck!

More general tips
  • You can view new events here, and viewing them is actually benecial for later
  • If you feel like you've messed up in a fight and would like to retry, you can actually exit out to the Title screen (NOT to the town). This also lets you choose a different path if needed
  • The final boss has a gimmick where you have to fight some "Phog" enemies. Defeating them would remove 1 of the boss' buffs, but it's not mandatory and you wouldn't lose the battle even if you fail, so no worry!

At the end of it all, you'll get the True Ending, and the Abyss Dungeon would finally become available. Even though the game tells you there is no additional CG, there are actually more Events you can read! And obviously, the gameplay in the Abyss Dungeon is the highlight of the epilogue, so definitely check it out!

Mona

My Thoughts
  • The Succubus Union deals okay damage with the Blessing active, whereas the Blessing is basically the Weakness Mark card but 0-cost during long fights (pretty nice!)
  • The Vampire Union is most effective with Charge Up (x8!!) and can be considered an upgrade to the Tiger Slash card, whereas the Blessing works well when you use self-damaging cards like Bravado
  • The Pamela Union is only powerful if you deliberately grind and steal Treasures (not very fast or fun IMO), whereas the Blessing is like the Pilfer card but specialised for stealing Treasures
  • The Mona Union is somewhat strong in long fights, whereas the Blessing can lead to either extra damage or massive Shield gain with the Nothingness card

I do plan on writing a more elaborated guide for each Summon... hopefully I'll finish the other guide eventually!
Abyss Dungeon General Tips
For your first run
  • Before starting each run, go to Una's House to see if there is any new event options you can read. This allows the same events in Abyss Dungeon to show what enchantments you can get
    • You also unlock new Events within the dungeon as well, notably the Mona scenes are exclusive here since she only joins you now
  • Choose the Summon that suits you, since the Summon and Difficulty you pick cannot be switched mid-dungeon. All are viable of course, and you can obviously still finish without using one
    • Mona is perhaps the best for damage in early floors, whereas Succubus is solid for being viable in almost all setups
    • Item cards are 0-cost and perfect in advancing the 4-cycle for their Blessing
  • The crystals used for unlocking things are different from the ones obtained during the run. Don't be afraid to spend all the crystals in shops mid-dungeon, as you still get the same amount of crystal based solely on your score and the difficulty, e.g. a final score of 10,000 always yield 1,000 crystal

For subsequent runs
  • Spend your crystal wisely!
    • Prioritise unlocking what you think you will be using, such as the Sharpened Sword card, Splash EX rune, and Ancient Tablet treasure
    • Avoid unlocking cards that require niche builds and are generally difficult to use, such as the elements and principle cards. Since a larger draw pool would result in the cards you want less likely to appear
    • Be sure to leave enough crystals to start the next run with extra card, treasure, and runes
  • Turn up difficulties if you want to unlock things for future runs more quickly, though you may not want to start with the "useless" deck or with fewer crystal
  • As mentioned, you can exit out to the Title screen if you feel like you're about to lose
  • On high difficulty, Shops are especially useful early on, since certain cards like Tiger Slash can greatly increase damage output, and thus survivability
    • You can change your cards when visiting Card Chest and Hot Spring too
  • My highscore is over a million, good luck beating it haha
New Achievements
With the epilogue update comes the addition of 22 new achievements (for a total of 55 now). I will only go over the new achievements here, since someone else has already made a guide for the previously exisiting achievements.

Summary
  1. Finish the Main Dungeon
    • Lose on floor 110
    • For floor 110's Vampire Queen, win without taking damage once the Vampire Queen has passed her HP threshold
    • For floor 130's Noah, win all 3 Phog fights (re-try by exiting to title screen)
  2. Finish the Abyss Dungeon 4 times, once per Summon card equipped
    • Purchase an Abyss Card, and keep rerolling its cost until it becomes 1
    • Obtain an Unknown Scale from Treasure Chest, and then a new boss would appear upon finishing floor 50. If you're having trouble finding the scale, you can equip Pamela and exhaust the Treasure pool to eliminate all RNG factor, though this could be time-consuming and require cards like Bravado to keep everyone alive and not run out of cards
    • Finish once at high difficulty for high score - You need about 250% for normal runs, or about 180% if the scale is found
    • Unlock everything. Though, I recommend making a backup save before that, since you cannot "re-lock" them afterwards. You need 42,600 crystals in total, so 4 runs at 200% difficulty should yield more than enough crystals
  3. Finish the Side Dungeon "Eternal Creature" (3rd beefed up fish)
Closing Remark
I honestly found myself more engaged with the gameplay (Abyss Dungeon in particular) than with the adult contents. Even though it's only my 2nd card game ever played, I'm having so much fun! Maybe I will write a proper review for the game after all...

I just find this image funny and super cute, see y'all next time!

I did it!! the card made the difference I guess. Still don't know why she one shotted me the other times.

Mona always after a certain number of rounds one shots me in the abyss dungeon. I was able to bring her to 300 HP and I died again. Am-I limited with a certain number of rounds? I buffed a card so I can remove 4 debuffs from myself and still not enough.
I did the whole game at normal but the abyss dungeon I can't do it even at easy difficulty. Mona just one shots me even if I have 600 hp/shield At this point I'd just like to see the scene that I am missing. I don't care to beat it anymore. I didn't purchase abyss card that might be my problem xD

nice guide! As a tip for using the new summon cards, I find that adding item cards to the deck helps ensure their blessing goes off on your big cards. If your count is off, you can use 0 cost stones or bandages to adjust it so your big damage card will always be the 4th card.

Ohh, I completely ignored those side dungeons past like the first two since you just get enough resources for everything just by playing the main stuff lol, thanks for reminding me

@The Knight of Buquicious
Eternal Creature is a Side Dungeon (similar to Rune Dungeons I~III, and the other 2 where you only have to fight a high HP fish.) I believe this mission unlocks only after finishing either the epilogue dungeon or abyss dungeon, but cannot be sure.

Have you gotten the Fall from Grace achievement yet? I can't figure out what the eternal creature is lol
