Of course the graphics on Ultra settings will be better overall and thanks to the cats, but with a frame rate too low at this stage of development I can't drive. The game freezes in the middle of any curve. After numerous attempts I have come to some compromises that make a race with 9 opponents playable (if you have frame rate problems forget about the 24-car races) obtaining a decent frame rate on the ninety-ninth percentile, the elimination of sudden freezes in the game on curves and at the same time a very respectable graphic rendering. I hope I can be of help to someone.

Suggested Video settings.
It's also recommended to set a pretty sunny day in the race meteo options, because a rainy track is fantastic to see and to drive but hard for video card
On my 27" Full HD monitor I have a low pixel density and I have to set the anti-alias filter multisample to 8x to eliminate the annoying jaggies on oblique and curved lines. If you have a better monitor or a less demanding eye you can lower the anti-aliasing and evaluate the trade-off between graphic rendering and performance gain.

The same goes for the anisotropic filter, which improves the quality of distant objects, making its shapes well defined and eliminating the annoying blurring.

Modulate the anti-alias and anisotropic filters values if you have to do so to get an acceptable frame rate, but I suggest you give up everything else (shadows, reflections, sky, motion blur) and keep these two filters at the highest possible level.
Don't forget to make your own tests.

During a race I'm able to clearly see a distant opponent's car in front of me on a long straight with its decently defined edges.

Thank you for this guide, made the game run more smooth without looking ugly

Be aware FXAA is usually disabled by the nVidia driver anyway. I cannot comment if the same is true of AMD drivers.
Another thing is if I use nVidia upscaling, EVO crashes. With upscaling disabled, I can drive for hours. I have tried FSR yet.

@gobluteam Thanks for your feedback. I think these settings are more effective on Full HD resolution. Native 4K allows you to use FSR with better results, although I don't like the frame latency much, but I found FSR on Full HD blurry.
BTW, everyone needs a different level of anti-aliasing based on PPI density. On 4K the PPI is always high, the pixels are very dense, so you can lower the anti-aliasing filter while maintaining a good level of quality.

Very nice organized guide! It did not work for me though I still got better fps on 4k medium preset with balanced FSR 60-70 fps....I also think it maybe looks better too.

Trying these settings I dont get over 52 fps and my VRam usage goes from 14gb to 15+gb and I feel like it somehow looks worse?. Doesnt really make sense lol.

I did turn some stuff down to high from ultra (everything)
and turned all the mirrors down to low
Msaa x2 not x8 and got around 60-65 fps but idk
I still feel like it just doesnt look as good as 4k medium preset with FSR on.

Im on a i5-13600k rx6800

I still think the guide is great and put together very well! Doing something like this takes a lot of time and effort! Thanks!

You'll be bottlenecked by your RAM.

@sirhenry me too. Better AC right now but I see huge potential in AC Evo.

I have 1440 Triple screen. Fps are way to low while trying better graphics. Real shame because I like the ffb. Best feeling ever. But stop playing Evo and went back to AC with csp and content manager. 100+ fps with triples on my 3070. I’m looking for a better GPU though.
Will try Evo when there’s a new update…

I use a Thrustmaster Tmx pro, and yes no feedback, i could run the game decently, i played corsa before and I must say im impressed and i cant wait for what is to come still
