⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Introduction

  • All the information that I have found or know will be here. The guide will be too useless, because I wrote it. Thank you all in advance for your attention!
  • At the beginning, we are greeted by a mini-story about the game itself, about the journey of our main character, who calls himself Boris. Boris is destined to go through a terrible and long journey through the remains of what was once called «HOME».
  • Throughout this running back and forth, we will be chased by one of Boris's enemies: the Ink Demon, the Butcher gang, and the Projectionist. Which have their own certain abilities, of them, these are their pros and cons, but more on that later.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Safe House

Already in the game, we are greeted by Boris's safe house, where we can find: a music player, a banjo and several other interesting things.

Also with the update about the notes, here you can change the dances of our character, if you find it of course. Boris will dance if you select one of the songs in the music player. The dances here are funny.

Here you can choose one of the songs in our music player, at the beginning only one music will be available, but if you play the game and find items, you can find several disks with other songs and add to the list.

And in the old fashioned way, there is a room with records of different workers. Each record can be found randomly while playing the game!

The Dungeons — is a location consisting of a couple of rooms located near the shelter in the Cycle. There is a room with a gang of butchers, where you need to collect 5 keys to open them and free them, in this case I have already opened it. After opening the box with the gang, you will be able to meet them in your normal survival.

The Dungeons — is a location consisting of a couple of rooms located near the shelter in the Cycle. It is here in the room with the tapes that you can open the door leading to the ending with Alice; you can open the door if you find the key.

The Restrooms — are a couple of rooms located near the safehouse in the Cycle. There is an altar here where you can unlock the game character, aka Sammy. You can get it if you find all the candles, then find the mask and that's it.

Wally's Minigame — It becomes available after getting all six strange fuses. The player must control the moving platform so that the ball does not fall to the bottom, otherwise the game will be lost. At the same time, it is required that the ink ball hits the platforms with lights. Each hit gives 1 point.

If Wally's record of fifteen points is broken, Joey Drew's recording will become available in the nearby compartment behind the brick wall.

Golden Days Gallery, where you can see the BatIM fan art that won the contest. There will also be a darned guy standing next to them criticizing them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Basics of survival 1/2
Walk: W A S D
Run: Shift
Interact: E
  • If you die from your opponent, but at the same time collect the things that you found from the box and the like, then these things will be saved!
Supply Chest: Bottom right of center, next to the elevator, you will notice a box labeled supplies. The box where Buddy Boris keeps his supplies. Collect parts from locations and put them in the box. Once you enter the elevator at the end of the level, you will interact with this box to save the items you found.

Little Miracle Station: Here you can escape from the ink enemies. Some will stand with a delay, but then leave.

Little Miracle Stations are found in some rooms. They can be identified by a glowing halo pattern on the roof. Boris or any other playable character can use the stations to hide from Ink Bendy, the Butchers, Twisted Alice, and the Projectionist.

Tasty Eats Machine: With it you can replenish your stamina. They appear randomly in different locations. Boris can interact with them, getting bacon soup from them, which replenishes his stamina. But before using you will have an animation, so you can't just drink it and run away.

Name
In game
What is it for?
Bone
The bone is one of the items that must be collected in the levels. Also, in the lockers you can find a special bone that Buddy Boris will hold in his mouth. Once back in the hideout, it will remain in his mouth throughout the rest of the gameplay until the game is restarted.
Music tracks
Buddy Boris can find music tracks in lockers throughout the levels. Obtaining this item is necessary to unlock new melodies, there are six in total. You can select any of them when interacting with the gramophone in the hideout or restrooms.
Scrap
Torn pieces of paper and posters that Boris must assemble to depict his past "human self". When all the pieces are put together, they form a figure made of a mixture of parts of Bendy, Alice Angel, and Boris the Wolf, connected in some places by black lines. This collage is Boris' attempt to depict his past "human self", which did not go well.
Odd Fuse
Odd Fuse can be found in lockers, there are six of them in total. Once obtained, it will be possible to activate Wally's minigame.
Candles
Candles need to be collected on levels, there are four of them. They are found in lockers. After getting all the candles, you will also need to find a mask, and then a new character will be available for control - Sammy Lawrence, who can be selected after changing the form of the toy to a mask.
Keys
There are only two types of keys in the game: the first key is for the Twisted Alice level, it becomes available for searching in dead Boris clones on the levels after Buddy Boris collects all the tapes with Milla Legna's recordings.

The second type of keys is designed to free the Butcher Gang from the wooden box in the dungeon. In total, you need to collect five of them. They can be found in lockers. After being freed, the Gang members will sometimes be encountered on the levels as enemies.
Mask
Buddy Boris can find Sammy's mask in levels. Obtaining this item is necessary to unlock a new playable character, Sammy Lawrence.

Lockers: Lockers can contain either nothing or one of the things that you will need to open all sorts of places. To open a box, you need to hack it, this is done easily. When interacting with them, you will get a rotating quick time event in which you need to press the button as soon as the arrow points to the right place on the wheel. Don't worry if you fail in the quick time event, you will have more chances.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Basics of survival 2/2
Stamina: Only consumed when running. Stamina is only available to player-controlled characters. It allows Buddy Boris and The Lost to quickly move (by pressing and holding the Shift key while walking) around locations and/or run away from enemies until the stamina bar is empty.

The exception is Sammy Lawrence - he uses stamina not for running, but for passing through special holes in the walls to another part of the level. A full gauge is enough for him to move five times.

To replenish lost stamina, you need to find the Tasty Eats machine and drink a can of bacon soup from it.

Items: These will be placed around the randomly generated level. There are 6 items in each level. You will usually find the first one in the starting room with the elevator.

The items you can get consist of:
Name
Icon
In game
Bone
Book
Gear
Music Radio
Plunger
Spoon
Wrench

However, the items are randomly selected, so you may end up finding multiples of the same item. Gray items are the ones you need to find, white items are the ones you've already found. These items are the main objective of the game. COLLECT.
Stands with dead Boris copies: Buddy Boris can find audio tapes for the record player in the corpses of Boris clones in the levels. Obtaining this item is necessary to unlock the Distorted Alice level. You can listen to them while interacting with the record player in the dungeon. After collecting all the audio tapes, you need to find a key that will open a new level.

Toilets: In them.... Y-you.... Huh? Well, that is, they have the same mechanics as boxes, and you also get items from them. After interacting with them, you can get blueprints with new dances for Buddy Boris.

Elevator: After you find all the things, one of your ink opponents will be aggressive towards you and will immediately run to look for you, the game will warn you to run to the elevator as soon as possible.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Characters
As the game progressed, I found out that each opponent has some of his own nuances.
Ink Demon
  • Movement speed - Low.
  • Has an average running speed, i.e. he will be able to catch up with you if you don't sprint.
  • He can be easily bypassed, because he is very slow in wide places.
  • He only sees the front, i.e. you will be able to pass behind him easily.
  • Most likely, he acts by hearing, but this is not certain.
  • Aura - Ink.
Projectionist
(Norman Polk)
  • Movement speed - Average.
  • Despite his normal speed, he is faster than the Ink Demon.
  • He can spot you easily, even from behind.
  • He doesn't care, even if you run 100 rooms away from him, he will still see you, and you won't get rid of him until you hide in the closet.
  • Aura - Light from the Spotlight.
The Butcher Gang

  • Movement speed - Slow.
  • They have the speed of the Ink Demon's size.
  • There are only 3 of them in one location, so be careful, they are everywhere.
  • Unlike other ink buddies, you can get rid of them if you go far away from them, and the cabinet, in some cases, can be left unused.
  • Aura - Nasty sounds.
Alice Angel
  • Movement speed - Low.
  • Her location is easy to figure out, as she moos like a cow and a huge halo ring is visible near her.
  • If you compare her movement speed, it is comparable to the speed of
    Spotlighter, or even more.
  • IQ like a boot.
  • Aura - Angelic ring.
Borkis
  • Movement speed - Slow.
  • Running speed - Fast, on par with the player.
  • Will chase Buddy Boris when it spots him. It is possible to hide from Borkis in the Little Miracle Station.
  • Borkis looks exactly like Buddy Boris, only it has glowing eyes.
  • Aura - Glowing eyes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Game characters
Boris the Wolf
  • Movement Speed - Slow.
  • Running Speed - Fast, but has a limited amount of energy that is spent when he runs. You need to keep an eye on the energy supply, if it suddenly runs out, the player will not be able to run away from Ink Bendy.
  • Ability - None
Lost Soul
Being a male, this Lost One is no different from the other Lost Ones in the Cycle, except that he wears a miner's helmet on his head.

To unlock this Lost as a playable character, Buddy Boris needs to collect all five Lost Papers, then return to the hideout and change the ink toy into a skull.
  • Slow, normal walking.

You can activate it by clicking on the homemade Boris in the starting room, on the table.

Once you select the skull figure, then when you enter the elevator, you will change your character.
Sammy Lawrence
  • No running, but has a fast walk.

  • Instead of running, you have access to fast transitions through cracks in the walls, when using which, you lose a percentage of stamina.
Change to Sammy, you can only everything on the same table where the ink crafts are. Choose a mask, and then go look for things, that's it! You are Sammy. And to unlock Sammy, you will need, first:

Collect 5 candles;
Find the mask;
Open in the altar

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Locations
Regular level

The most normal level, where your task is to find things for survival. Every time you jump into the elevator from the hub, you get to a randomly generated level. You will notice that at the beginning, the current day is displayed. It is infinite, there is no day where the game stops. As the days go by, the difficulty and size of the level increases.

However, every time you restart the game, the days are reset.

You'll start at a 4-way intersection with an elevator in the middle. You can choose which path to take in any order, though some paths may be blocked.
The Projectionist Level

This level can drop randomly after collecting a certain amount of hearts in normal levels. Once here, you need to collect six ink hearts while hiding from the Projectionist aka Norman Polk. Successfully completing the level will allow the Projectionist to appear in normal levels, and an ink heart will appear in front of the elevator in the shelter, thanks to which you can call this level at will.
Alice Angel Level

Alice Angel levels are very similar to regular levels, however some rooms are larger than regular ones and their layout is slightly different. The center of the level with the elevator is also different.

After opening the door with Milla, Buddy Boris realizes that Milla is Twisted Alice.

After this, Buddy needs to collect six items while being careful of Angel Alice, and then use the elevator. Completing the level at least once allows Twisted Alice to appear on regular floors.
The Lost's Levels

One of the levels added with The Wolf Trials update. They are only accessible by editing the game's code and are most likely used by the developers to test new features. With The Unleashed update, The Lost appears in this level with a miner's helmet. In this level, the player plays as The Lost, hiding from Ink Bendy. After collecting all four required items, which are located in the starting room, The Lost can use the elevator to return to the hideout.

This level contains four (sometimes less, depending on the level generator) long corridors. The starting room contains all available items for collection. There are no Tasty Eats machines on this level
Secret level

Secret: This is day 414 and floor level 414. AND YOU ARE NOT THERE ALONE! The chance of getting here is 1 in 3000, but on the condition that Buddy Boris has already reached day 10 or later.

This level is an extremely rare easter egg that appears during normal gameplay. Dying on the level only results in a Borkis jumpscare, and completing the level does nothing special.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Interesting facts
  • Boris will shake like in BatIM if he is too close to an ink opponent
  • Boris can be given a bone in his mouth if you take it from a locker / drawer.
  • An unknown box with a question mark, which is on the table in the corner. What could it mean?
  • Holes or cracks in the walls. You can rarely find them, but it depends on the person, I rarely have them. There is nothing useful in these holes, but they only give you the opportunity to see what is happening inside the wall. Sometimes in such holes you can see: The Game Creator; Cardboard Bendy; A room with the inscription: THE MACHINE MUST WITHSTAND; A map; Dead Boris.

In the game, tools are used to obtain secrets. After unlocking Sammy Lawrence as a playable character, an ink inscription with a combination of playing musical instruments will appear above the place where the candles and his mask should be.

Playing the instruments goes in this order:
  1. Bass
  2. Drum
  3. Violin
  4. Piano
  5. Drum
  6. Banjo

Next, during the passage of the level (while playing for Sammy Lawrence) you need to find these instruments and play in the correct order, also trying not to die from enemies. The very last instrument in the combination is the banjo, it is located in the shelter. After this, a hole in the wall will appear near the place where Sammy was unlocked. It contains a note from the Unknown:
"It is important to seize opportunity before it slips from your crooked fingers. The past often dies without releasing its rich secrets. But, oh-oh, Mister Joey Drew! The secrets you have left behind! How exciting! What knowledge! What possibilities! The time is approaching for the dark rebirth to finally arrive!" - Voice of the Unknown.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Endings
SPOILERS!

For me, these are not exactly endings, but they are worth a look.

  • 1. You will need to collect 7 pieces of the puzzle, then Boris will see his past, and then the door to the studio opens.
  • 2. Boris opens the door with the inscription HELP ME and finds Angel Alice.
  • 3. Boris opens a box with a gang of butchers, who fall down. After which these characters will be available to us, but as enemies.
