Since I can't make links directly to sections of the guide - which would be very helpful for large guides like this to keep things organized - I decided to create links to a specially made steam group (you don’t need to join the group, btw). And this way, it will be much easier to read and navigate the guide. Don’t worry, these aren’t phishing links - they all are within steam.

About

This article is dedicated to the enemies of Christianity, who deny the Divinity of Christ, as well as to Christians who seek to know more about our great Lord Jesus Christ.

I promise you that after reading and studying this entire guide thoroughly, you won’t be left with any doubts that: Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. You will be able to call Jesus Christ, as Thomas did: "My Lord and my God!" (John 20:28).

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen.

A brief clarification about the Holy Trinity

If Jesus Christ is God, the Father is God, and the Holy Spirit is God - doesn’t that mean we have three different Gods?

- No. We believe in One God - One Divine Essence with One Divine Will.

1. the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are co-eternal and co-existent.
None of the Persons of the Trinity had a beginning or will have an end. The Father is not before the Son or the Holy Spirit in time, nor are the Son or the Spirit created by or after the Father. All three Persons have existed forever.

2. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit share the same One Divine Essence.
God isn't composed of parts, because He is eternal and infinite. The Divine Essence is indivisible, because something that is infinite, by definition, cannot be composed of parts - this is why each Person of the Trinity fully possesses the same, whole Divine Essence, not 1/3 or some "parts".

3. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have the same Divine Will.
Because all three Persons are - One Divine Being - One God - the Creator of everything.
All three Persons of the Trinity do everything in perfect unity, because They aren’t separate divine beings with their own wills.

Isn’t this concept completely made up?

- No. There was no reason to make up a concept that is hard to understand at first glance.

It’s often easier for people to believe in a vague "god" who is distant and conceptually simple - like "god" found in Islam. Or be pagans and believe in many "gods". But just because something is simple and understandable doesn’t mean it is right or true.

Trinity is consistent with an ancient concept in Judaism known as the "Two Powers in Heaven".

The concept of the Trinity is simply a logical and consistent reading and understanding of the Bible. You can't arrive at any other conclusion if you truly want to understand what has been revealed by God.

Why does this concept seem complicated?

- Because we are talking about God, there is nothing in creation that can be like Him in fullness.

Other common worldviews and philosophies, such as nihilism or the prepubescence of nontheism, are shown to be insufficient because they either collapse into chaos or fail to give life genuine purpose without acknowledging a personal, infinite God. Christianity uniquely offers a rational, logical basis for understanding existence, providing the coherence, purpose, and hope that human beings inherently seek.
J 12 Jun @ 7:19am
God's existence is not just an abstract idea but a real, personal presence that actively sustains and communicates with creation. Francis Schaeffer stresses that the Christian doctrine of the Trinity is crucial because it demonstrates that God's personal unity and diversity existed before creation, giving meaning to the relationship between God and humanity. This pre-existent community of love and communication provides the blueprint for understanding human personality and relationships.
J 12 Jun @ 7:19am
Human finiteness necessitates an infinite reference point because, as finite beings, humans cannot fully comprehend or integrate their existence on their own. Since individuals are limited, personal, and dependent, they require an ultimate, infinite reference—the infinite God—to provide meaning, coherence, and an ultimate point of orientation. Without such an infinite reference, human existence remains fragmented and incomprehensible, but with God—who is infinite and personal—humans gain the necessary context to understand their finiteness within a coherent, divine framework.
