This is a Fix to Make Steam Overlay Work in the Avowed Game. (Use this fix each time you run your game until they fix the issue making Steam overlay Not Work when running Avowed)

*Edit Easier Solution: Start game and then quickly open any folder or document (They can be made and have nothing on it or in it) as the game goes to the black screen while loading, make sure your folder file is at top or showing and the load up screen for avowed is in background. You will see that the overlay is small and works. to get rid of the folder or document you had opened, just click to get rid of them or click Avowed game Screen*

1. Run Avowed
2. Go into Avowed settings (Graphics)
3. Switch to Windowed Setting
4. Change the Resolution to any lowered setting making your game appear as a Window
5. Check to see if Steam Overlay is working (Open Steam Overlay in the Windowed Resolution You Chose)
6. Change your Avowed Resolution Setting Back to your original Setting
7. You will have to do this each time you Run Avowed till they get Steam Overlay Fixed in the Game

I tried this on 3 Different Computers and it worked on all 3 of them so I hope it works for you.
