Go to your game folder, find 'Rogue_data' folder or something like that and delete Rewired_DirectInput.dll file.
Basically Unity engine is having some trouble with certain usb devices. This .dll is how Unity communicates with those devices and inputs, not a game asset. Without it the game uses the standard windows way instead.
This problem persisted with Kingmaker/Wrath and some other Unity games.
When the game updates it will download this .dll again, so you will need to delete it again btw.
for me it was in "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader\WH40KRT_Data\Plugins\x86_64\Rewired_DirectInput.dll"
