INTRODUCTION

1 Playthrough Method
In The First Berserker: Khazan you can get all the achievements in one playthrough with a little save manipulation. And I encourage you to do so.

Play through the game on Normal Difficulty. Do every bonus mission in the game. Some of those will unlock automatically, for some you have to talk with specific NPS so everytime you beat the boss go through all NPCs in The Crevice and talk to them.

Once you get to mission 3 you will be introduced to Spirit of Advocacy and a Revenant of Adversity mechanics. Revenant of Adversity appear as a red mist during the mission, interacting with it will summon a Revenant of Adversity that will try to kill you. Defeating him will give you a resource to summon Spirit of Advocacy before boss fights (white mist near the boss entrance).
DO NOT summon any Spirit of Advocacy to aid you with bosses for Standing Alone achievement.
You can still summon Revenant of Adversity and use Phantoms while going for Standing Alone achievement.

If the game becomes to difficult and you feel like you need help then summon a Spirit of Advocacy to help you with the boss you're struggling with and do 2 playthroughs instead of one. It's better to finish the game on Normal Difficulty while using Spirits of Advocacy than not finishing it at all.

2 Playthroughs Method

Play first playthrough on Normal Difficulty and use Spirits of Advocacy making boss fights easier and then play second time on Easy Difficulty and don't use Spirits of Advocacy.

You can make a save backup at the boss that you have troubles with and start your second playthrough from there once you finish Normal Difficulty.

Difficulty can be lowered in setting but you can't switch from Easy to Normal.



THINGS I WISH I KNEW EARLIER
Dephrona Upgrades
After mission 3 you will get acces to The Crevice. In here you will find all the NPC that join you. One of them, Daphona, offers upgrades for destroyed Soulstones.
Always go for the Health Recovery Increase. Lacrima will come naturally but healing items are a limited resource so you want them to heal more.


Willpower Orb
Willpower Orbs are consumable that will heal 50% of your max healt for 3 Spirit points.
This is a very usefull item that will save you a boss fights.







Unfortunetly those can't be crafted. You can find them or buy them from a Bard when you find him inside the missions. He dosen't have them in The Crevice.

But you can kinda farm them. Go to The Bard's location and buy them, he always has 10 and one cost 1500 gold. Visit all locations with Bard that you have unlocked and then play through another mission. Once you finish you can revisit all Bard's locations and he should have a new batch of Orbs.
Khazan's Memories
In any Blade Nexus you can visit Khazan's Memories. There you can upgrade one of his offensive stats. To get upgrade points you must find all collectibles in a level.

AUTOMATIC ACHIEVEMENTS
Those achievements should unlock naturally as you play the game.



A New Path - Embarked on the second journey.


Start New Game+ by alking to Blade Phantom after you finished main story.



Ambush - Defeated an enemy using a breakfall


Press attack as you fall down on the enemy.



Artisanship - Crafted a special item


Craft any piec of Armor Set at the blacksmith.



Awakened Ghost - Woke a dormant ghost from its slumber


Finish Bonus Mission "Stormpass’ Phantom of Combat". After you kill the boss you will be able to activate different Phantoms at the Blade Nexus. Those Phantoms give you different passive bonuses.



Blacksmith's Resolve - Had Qazumaka dismantle gear


Dismantle gear at the blasmith.



Combat Essentials - Used a consumable for the first time



Finishing Strike - Used a brutal attack



Fully Equipped - Equipped a piece of gear on every slot



Indomitable - Inherited gear stats


After finishing the Traitor Revealed Mission, talk to Oksana to unlock Kaleido bonus mission. After you finish it Oksana will be able to increase level of your gear.



Kaleido - Had Oksana alter attributes



Merchant's Wisdom - Sold an item to Duimuk



Piercing Power - Used a javelin



Remnants of the Soul - Had Oksana exact Lacrima



Resourceful Merchant - Purchased an item from Duimuk



Skilled Blacksmith - Had Qazumaka craft gear



Skilled Combatant - Learned a combat skill



Soulstone Unleashed - Upgraded abilities by unleashing the power of Soulstones



Talk to Daphrona in The Crevice to use Soulstones to upgrade your abilities. Always go for the bonus Healt Recovery.




Tears of the Soul - Retrieved Lacrima using the power of the ghost


Retrive your Lacrima after you die.



Upgrade Stats - Upgraded a stat



Wandering Soul - Summoned the wandering Soul of the Rift



Summon Spirit of Advocacy or a Revenant of Adversity.

Frozen sorry to hear that but it's sounds like it's your problem. When it's possible I always try to show path from one collectible to another and if that's impossible then I make sure to show some characteristic surrounding. Looks like you have to pay more attention to what's around you.

But if you switch back will it count as playing on normal for the The Expert's Journey - Reached the ending after a difficult journey achievement?

I think currently the difficulty can be switched back to Normal from Easy.
