How We Started
Originally, it was brought to my attention by my good friend Googly Eyes that the language used in multiple parts in-game actually was decipherable. He found the first piece which started this entire rabbit hole: which was the Endless Mode shard's characters around it.

This started a wild goose chase between me and him where we wanted to see if we could find the whole alphabet, and gosh darn we got close... We immediately began trying to decipher the things in the Shop Node like the science board; but, we quickly found out we didn't have nearly enough letters to make any sense of it.

Over time though we began to piece things together with simpler words.

The sign above was a turning point for us, the left side read "Power Up" while the right side reads "Coffee"

The Sign above the Coffee Shop reads "Coffee Area"

We then turned out attention to the board with the mushroom on it, piece by piece we hammered out the words, deciphering them all.

The writing above translates to "Unexplained Void Consumption"

Then we finally returned to the board ironing things out.

Lastly but not least, we found a self-reference in the game on one of the books.

The title of the book above is simply "Haste"

We tried deciphering a few other references of this language, but they turned out to be garbled messes. This is where our work concluded.

After posting the guide we recently got a comment from JeffTheNick112233445566778899 showing new deciphered text and we gained a letter :D Y!!!! Thanks again Jeff, here's their findings:

Jeff found that Riza's tablet has language you can actually read on. However, it's a little hard to read without high resolution and messing with some editing. It's a little easier to read in photo negative.

Here's the direct translation, once again thanks Jeff!

The Alphabet
After compiling and hastily making some crude MS Paint sketches of the symbols I constructed the functional Alphabet Cipher for the language.

Once again, big shout out to Googly Eyes for even causing myself to view this and get sucked into this hour long journey with him.

Thanks again to JeffTheNick112233445566778899 for the follow-up and decipher!

Lastly, it was brought to my attention from Juniper, aka The Captain that the font was in the files, I however cannot allow my beautiful MS Paint sketches to not be admired, so I used it only for the last three letters. (J, Q, and Z)
WIP: How You can Help
As you may have noticed, we are missing four letters J, Q, Y, and Z. We have stumbled across other symbols which may represent these letters; however, they were not actual words so the placement and meaning would be completely speculative. You can help this guide by finding more of this language in-game that can be deciphered so we can complete the alphabet. Any help given will of course be credited in this guide.

We have finished the alphabet in Haste!!!! However, you can still help by giving more examples of decipherable text if found.

Thanks for reading and I hope you liked taking a closer look at something that could be completely overlooked.

Aha! I was trying to crack some of it myself when I saw it on the choice-screen. Well done.

Also looking at the base colour files may help with readability and finding more translatable sections

I'd love to see this as an OTF font file

@EchoInProgress Yeah we noticed that as well. It comes out to be " Haste Broken Worlds" and the two achievements relating to distance just have KM for kilometers. Good eye!

So... some of the achievement icons have single letters. I'll leave the rest to the others, but going through the "Shard #" achievements in order, we get...

ASTEBROKEN

Putting the letter in "Learning the Slopes" (the only achievement you get before "Shard 1") at the very start, and we get...

HASTE BROKEN

I don't have all the achievements unlocked, so I'll leave the rest to you, but it turns out there's still a bit more left to translate. Good luck, everyone.
