Also I suspect the amount of codes given out had something to do with low player count and because there was a lack of ways to earn event points during Garden of the Witch. They didn't do any sort of double event point weekend and there were no totems/effigies/pumpkin type things to get EP in-game from. And the event was shorter yet it still had a 15k EP bonus, which scaled to the length of the event made it much harder to acquire, especially considering the other factors. All in all, it was much more difficult to complete as compared to the other recent events of the same format. Hence, we got a lot of codes given out to help remedy this.
