This handy little reference lists all the vaults you can find in the game. A dedicated walkthrough for each vault is provided below. Check them out to see what obstacles, enemies and loot you can expect to find.

Currently there are 8 vaults for you to explore:

1. South Bramblemead Valley
   
2. North Bramblemead Valley
   
3. Whispering Swamp
   
4. Fractured Plains Centre
   
5. Bloodblight Swamp
   
6. North Fractured Plains
   
7. Stormtouched Highlands
   
8. Fractured Plains Tower - Velgar, the final boss battle

The numbers on the map below indicate each vault's difficulty level with higher numbers presenting a greater challenge.



Every vault includes 3 Vault Cores (needed for fast travel) and at least one boss. The bosses are:

• Overlord (melee)
  
• Archon (mage)
  
• Giant Rat
  
• Toxic Giant Rat.

The final boss is Velgar, the dragon you see at the start of the game. You know, the one that likes to rain toxic sludge down on you.

The first three vaults are forgiving, but at difficulty level 3 - Fractured Plains Centre and beyond - the damage output and health of enemies is noticeably more than in previous vaults.

You need to be prepared before you set off to tackle a vault. At a minimum this includes:

• Craft the best weapons, armor and wardstones suitable for your level and story progression.
  
• Ensure your thirst, hunger and sleep meters are maxed and gear fully repaired.
  
• Empty your bag of all unnecessary items.
  
• Pack at least 20 food, 20 water and at least 5 wardstones. Pack a torch.
  
• Ranged characters take at least 300 arrows.
  
• Build a Lodestone at the vault's entrance.
