As is the case with the previous 2 games this achievement along with the other difficulty centered ones can be earned right at the end of the game even if the whole game is played through up until the end on a different difficulty. The point of no return to get this achievement is when the player along with the military soldiers arrive at the evacuation point, swapping difficulty DURING the defense of the evacuation point will not result in the achievement (at least not in my experience). If you're doing this alongside the "Well-Timed Backup" achievement I would create a new save once that one pops and use that as the save to go back to to get all difficulty centered achievements.

Evacuation
Complete the game by evacuating on a helicopter.
If you've gone for the other ending don't fret as the game autosaves just before you make the choice!
When you've gotten to the extraction you'll be given 2 choices, stay in the zone or leave the zone, For this achievement you have to choose to leave the zone, when you do, a sequence of still images play detailing the choices you made during the game, at the end of these you'll get credits and then be returned to the main menu. Where you can reload the autosave the game made and make the second choice (to stay inside the zone, netting you the other ending achievement)
When you make the choice to stay in the zone you can continue playing and return to any area's you may want to re-explore, if you talk to a guide at any time you can then choose to leave the zone (though unsure if this nets you the achievement)

Stalker by blood
Complete the game and decide to stay in the Zone.





Unsinkable
Enter Skadovsk for the first time.




Detective
Uncover the secret behind stalker disappearances at Skadovsk.
This achievement is earned by completing the side mission Missing Stalkers given by Grouse aboard the Skadovsk in Zaton. The first part of this mission involves checking out the area containing the bloodsucker lair along side Grouse. After this part is completed, Grouse explains he will contact you later. After a while, Grouse will disappear from the area. Beard will tell the player that he left for the Dock Cranes. Head here to finish up the quest line and unlock your achievement.

Pinocchio
Listen to all Filnt's stories.
Flint is a Freedom member found in Yanov station who tells stories taking credit for actions done by the player. In total, seven stories must be triggered for this achievement.
The requirements to unlock the stories are:
- Unlocked automatically on first visit to Yanov
- Complete the "Bloodsucker Lair" mission in Zaton
- Turn in the area maps to Pilot found in the remnants of Stingray 2 in the Iron Forest in Zaton
- Find the Oasis and complete the quest given by Ozersky
- Assist the Scientists in Yanov until the "Anomaly Research" quest is completed [Place 3 sensors in anomalies around Yanov, cover Topol at the Ash Heap and Plavni Anomalies.]
Talk to Splinter at the Quarry in Yanov and begin the Retribution quest
- The final story is unlocked after confronting Flint about lying during three of his stories OR confronting him about finding
Splinter at the Quarry
WARNING Do not confront Flint about his lies until he has gone through all of his stories or he will stop talking to the player after 3 confrontations.



Courier of Justice
Bring the scumbag to justice. Magpie cheated and deceived many a stalker, now his time has come.
You receive this achievement when you turn Magpie (Flint) in to any quest character.
Be careful not to turn him in until you get the Pinocchio achievement.



Well-timed backup
Save all stalkers from Kovalsky group during the final evacuation.
For this achievement the player needs to ensure that every member of Kovalsky's squad survives the run to the evacuation point. Don't worry if soldiers from Kovalsky's squad died in previous missions such as "Unidentified Weapon", the game only factors in who is alive at the end. It helps to run ahead of the soldiers to eliminate threats but don't go too far ahead, the dangers along the way will consist of zombies mostly, along with several snorks once you reach the school building. The achievement will pop once you reach the evacuation point. It is not necessary for everyone to survive the defense of the evacuation point as the achievement should pop as soon as the point is reached.

Arkless
Meet Noah.
This achievement is missable!
Noah is located in Zaton, in an old barge located to the south of the Shevchenko, there's a door on the side which will lead you to Noah, as soon as you open the door he will immediately attack you but it will stop soon after. It is important to remember that you should not attack him, otherwise he will become hostile and make it impossible to get the achievement. After he ceases fire just talk to him and you're fine.

Train to Yanov
Enter Yanov for the first time.





Imperfect plans
Frisk all Stingray helicopters.




Forgotten paths
Gather the squad and go to overpass.




Purgatory
Enter Laundromat for the first time.




Item 62
Find the weapon of future.
You receive the Gauss Rifle during a story mission in Pripyat where you go to ambush some monolith troops at the Hospital, you then are tasked with repairing the weapon, which you do by taking it to the mechanic Cardan in Skadovksk in Zotan, after you complete the proceeding quest where you retrieve Item 62 project documentation from the bunker underneath Iron Forest Anomaly, Cardan repairs the weapon and this achievement pops

Librarian
Get all documents in Lab X-8.


Research and Anomalies
Mirone, is it you?
Find Mirone.
Mirone can be found very early in the game in the Dangerous Cave underneath the Burnt Farmstead in Zaton. The entrance is on the North-East side of the farm on the hill. It can be spotted by looking for the T shaped gash on the group. Be warned that Mirone is guarded by a Controller Mutant which may be difficult to kill without proper gear. Inside the cave, the player can find Anabiotics and other medicine.

Old acquaintance
Meet Petruha and help him get out of the anomaly.
You can net this achievement rather quickly and easily, when you're in Zaton, go to the boiler anomaly, you'll find 2 stalkers taking some readings, Peruha will walk further into the anomaly zone and get knocked out, the stalker accompanying him will call out to you, and providing you talk to him will give you a med-kit, take this med-kit up to Peruha (being careful as the area is very hot) and use the med-kit on him, this will net you the achievement.

Pioneer
Research the most recent developments of anomalies in the Zone.
To unlock this achievement, the following quests must be completed:
- "Strange Phenomenon" quest for Beard
- "Intermittent Psy-Emissions" for Hermann
- "Anomalous Plant" for Ozersky
Anomalous Plant is unlocked when recruiting Sokolov to join the team on the Pripyat 1 mission

Artifact Hunter
Find every type of artifact known to Zone researchers.
Unlocking this achievement requires finding every Artifact in the game, minus quest related artifacts such as the Heart of the Oasis, Altered Wheel, Altered Insulator etc.
This is easiest done after the player has unlocked the "Seasoned Stalker" achievement for visiting 18 Anomalous areas around the game as rare artifacts spawn more frequently after it has been unlocked. Note - artifacts purchased from Beard or received as quest rewards, such as the Goldfish artifact from the "Hostage" quest in Jupiter, DO count for this.
Most players get stuck finding the four rare artifacts that spawn the least frequently but each one has a guaranteed spawn in the game:
- The Firefly [Gas anomalies] will always spawn in the Vine anomaly in Pripyat, South of the River Port. Be careful as Monolith soldiers can be found in the area.
- The Flame [Burner anomalies] is always found in the Volcano anomaly in Pripyat, west of the Kindergarten
- The Snowflake [Electro anomalies] is always found on the roof of the Yubileiny Service Center in Pripyat. Rarely, two can be spawned up here.
- The Goldfish [Vortex anomalies] is given to the player automatically after starting the "Hostage" quest in Yanov Station from Grizzly. Another will always spawn in the School in Pripyat.
Other tips to help unlocking this one - working with the Ecologists in Jupiter will allow the player to place sensors in certain Anomalies which will alert the player when an artifact is present there. You can use the map on the PDA to view which ones by highlighting the circle of the Anomaly.
Sleeping several times in a encampment will force Artifacts to spawn across the Anomalies in the game.

Detectortive
Find at least one artifact with the help of each detector.
In the game, there are a total of 4 detectors:
Echo (default one, you got one at the start of the game)
Bear (Can be obtained from Petruha if you have the Echo Detector equipped)
Veles (Several need to be found for the Owl's quest; one is guaranteed to be found in the cabin of the excavator in the Kopachi village)
Svarog (Could be purchased from scientists after completing the Research Assistant achievement; can be obtained after Owl's quest for 3 Veles detectors)

Natural disaster
Simultaneously equip Snowflake, Flame, Stone flower and Moonlight.
The four artifacts required for this achievement can all be found as default spawns in the following Anomalies:
- Moonlight can be found in the Parking Lot in Jupiter
- Stone Flower can be found in the Claw Anomaly in Zaton
- Flame can be found in the Volcano in Pripyat [West of the Kindergarten]
- Snowflake can be found on the roof of the Yubileiny Service Center in Pripyat
The first three artifacts are quite common and should not be too difficult for the player to find. They can also appear in Beard's shop if the player sided with the Stalkers during the "Compass" quest.
The Snowflake can be rare to find but will appear in electrical anomalies. It becomes much more common after the Seasoned Stalker achievement is unlocked by visiting 18 different Anomalies across the game. The player can sleep in beds several times to make new Artifacts spawn.

Gifts of nature
Find legendary Heart of the Oasis.
'Oasis' is a mission provided by Prof. Ozersky inside the scientist's bunker in Jupiter, located just outside Yanov Station. The mission is available from the start of the game so long as you have the money to pay Pilot in Skadovsk to travel to Yanov Station.
The Oasis is located underneath the Ventilation Complex in Jupiter (on your map scroll down from Yanov Station and you should see the parking lot and then a bit below that the Ventilation Complex) and is reached by entering a small building embedded into the hillside west of the complex itself. Make your way through the building fighting zombies and rodents to the top level of the sewer. You know you have completed this section when you enter a corridor leading to a large room with pillars.
There is a puzzle in this room which if you don't solve you will forever be teleported back to the beginning of the room. Upon entering, you will see five horizontal rows of columns. Starting from the entrance you just came through walk towards the left-most row of columns, and in a straight line walk towards the other side, then walk through the doorway and down the corridor, which will teleport you back to the start of the room where you entered. This will cause a sparkle effect between two columns in one of the rows. Repeat this process through each remaining row until a sparkle effect has appeared between two columns for each row. Once that's done, go through each sparkle effect sequentially from closest to furthest without crossing through any columns that don't have the sparkle effect, you will know if you have done it correctly as you will not teleport back to the beginning, so carry on through the corridor to get to the Oasis. (Note: I cannot confirm if the sequence is the same each time, nor if you can walk through it without the sparkle effect being activated.)
In the final room, a circular room with a broken dome, you will find the 'Heart of the Oasis' artifact on a tree within a pool of water, you may need to jump and collect it in mid-air. The achievement should pop as you pick up the artifact, so you don't need to complete the quest. Be warned, as soon as you pick up the artifact, a psy-dog will attack you from the direction you came in, but if you are quick enough, you can turn and shoot (preferably your trustiest shotgun) and kill the dog or climb the ladder in the center of the room and escape if you wish to avoid combat. Please note that standing in the water here will heal your health and remove radiation, which helps fight the dog, but your armor will still be damaged if you struggle to finish the dog quickly.
Reputation and relationships
A Friend of Duty
Provide plenty of help to Duty, and earn the respect of Duty fighters.
You need to fulfill 3 conditions:
Give Shulga (the leader of Duty at Yanov) Morgan's and Tachenko's PDAs.
Inform Shulga about Flint's (Magpie) actions.
Recruit the Strider's group into the Duty faction.

A Friend of Freedom
Provide plenty of help to Freedom, and earn the respect of Freedom.
You need to fulfill 3 conditions:
Give Loki (Freedom's leader at Yanov) Morgan's and Tachenko's PDAs.
Inform Loki about Flint's (Magpie) actions.
Recruit the Strider's group into the Freedom faction.

A Man of Balance
Do not side with either faction, and always act as a free stalker.
You need to fulfill two conditions:
Sell Morgan's and Tachenko's PDAs to Owl.
Inform Gonta about Magpie (Flint).
Make a save before doing this so you can load and not miss the Leader achievement

Diplomat
Solve problems peacefully.
This achievement can be unlocked early in the game on the first visit to Jupiter. In Yanov Station, talk to Vano and Grizzly to start the "Debts" and "Hostage" quests. During both quests, take the diplomatic route and avoid fighting the Bandits.
During "Debts", Jack demands an increase of 2000SR for interest on Vano's debt. The player can either pay or threaten him if they have a high powered firearm equipped - either option will work for the achievement. Just make sure a gunfight does not break out.
For Hostage, pay Shishak either 15,000SR or a high level artifact . When you are leaving the Bandit base with Mitay, do not resist when Dwarf extorts the player for more money. He will take a random amount between 1000-5000SR, not all of the players money as he threatens

Research Assistant
Work with the scientists for so long that you could rightfully be called a research assistant.




A Friend of Stalkers
Help stalkers in trouble and you will have allies in the stalker brotherhood who will help you too.
This achievement can be earned by completing the following quests:
- Complete "The Hit" and "Transaction" on the Loner's side
- Complete "Debts" and "Hostage"
- Complete "Hunting the Chimera" and inform Trapper of the chimera's death
"The Hit" and "Transaction" can be completed right at the start of the game. When you get to the Skadovsk, a man named Knuckles will tell you to speak to his boss, named Sultan. Tell Sultan you'll do it and then talk to Grouse or Beard and tell them about the raid. Return to Knuckles and accept the offer and you'll be taken to the Shevchenko. Simply turn on the bandits and shoot them when the Loners ambush them. This opens up "Transaction" and is acquired by talking to Beard after the raid has been foiled. Meet up with Spartacus' group and continue through the mission as prompted. Both of these quests also contribute towards the "One of Ours" achievement if you take the Loners side.
Before you leave Zaton, you should acquire the "In Search of Magpie" quest by speaking to Gonta in the Skadovsk's medical area as it must be completed before you can start "Hunting the Chimera". You will not be able to complete this mission until you get to Jupiter, however.
"Debts" and "Hostage" are found at Jupiter and can be acquired from Vano and Grizzly respectively at Yanov station. How you deal with these quests is up to you, it does not matter how they are completed so long as you do not fail the quest.
While you are at Yanov, you should finish the "In Search of Magpie" quest.
After "In Search of Magpie" is completed, inform Gonta and sleep in the Skadovsk (Even for one hour is fine, but you may as well sleep until 3AM). Then talk to Gonta again and the "Hunting the Chimera" quest can be started, but can only be completed at 3AM. Go through this quest and talk to Trapper at Yanov after it is completed to finish the quest and get the achievement.
Something to note however, at some point in my campaign it seems like all my achievement progress got reset for that campaign, which affected this achievement and the "Trafficker of Information" achievement. If this happens you can speedrun these quests specifically in a new game on rookie difficulty, just make sure to get some artifacts to sell to Beard for some money to travel between Yanov and Zaton.

Trafficker of Information
Have your own profit in mind when selling information to those who need it.
To earn this achievement the player needs to sell 10 different documents or PDAs to either Owl (Skadovsk in Zaton), Shulga (Duty area in Yanov) or Loki (Freedom area in Yanov). I am not sure if it counts across all information brokers so to be safe I’d say sell all 10 to one character.

A Wealthy Client
Your wealth is considerable, and traders value a client of your stature.
This achievement requires you to have 100k Money at one time, the easiest way to do this is to sell artifacts to Beard in Skadovsk, he will pay 18k per requested artifact. So collect a good assortment of artifacts, talk to beard and hand in the ones he wants, if he request ones you don't have, simply go upstairs to sleep and then talk to him again.

A Keeper of Secrets
Keep notes from Strelok's group's stashes until you find their rightful owner.
Three stashes are hidden around Jupiter that the player must loot before beginning the Finale of the game in Pripyat.
The first is under the Cement Factory - approach from the swamp East of the Plavni Anomaly and look for a flooded tunnel underneath it. Be careful as some chemical anomalies can be found here. Navigate to the back, right hand corner of the room and crouch into a drain pipe. The stash is at the end of the tunnel.
The second is on top of the excavation machine in the Quarry. Approach from the north end of the Quarry and look for a tilted tree that the player can use as a ladder to get on top of the machine. Be careful as more chemical anomalies are found up here. The stash is in a bag inside the cabin.
The third stash is at the Jupiter Factory in the bottom right corner underneath the five raised tanks near the entrance of the Factory. The stash is hidden in a pipe with a valve on it behind some chemical anomalies.
Each of these stashes contains documents which, must be turned into Strelok when he is met in Pripyat. The third stash, regardless of the order they are searched in, will always contain the unique "Strelok's SGI-5K gun inside, a powerful NATO rifle.
If you are having trouble finding any of the stashes, coordinates can be unlocked by finding the crashed UAV north of the Ash Heap anomaly and bringing the Black Box found inside to either Nitro or Novikov.

Combat training and killings
Agent F-1
Kill 100 enemies with hand grenades.
Came across an easy way to boost kills with grenades in case you never use them or rarely get kills with them.
In Zaton there is a group of mercs hanging out in the Substation Workshops in the southern part of the map. If you bring them 6 food items they will allow you to wander around without issue.
If you happen to be in the area when an emission hits it sets you up for an easy way to boost grenade kills. In the back of the place is a small building that they'll all enter and hang out in while waiting for an emission to pass. They'll lock the door behind them so you need to be in there before their last guy makes it into the room. With it being a small room you can easily take out 5-7 of them with a few grenades before you end up dying. It shouldn't take long to get 100 kills as I was able to do so in under 10 minutes.

Mutant Hunter
Do not avoid dangerous mutants. Good hunters are held in high esteem among stalkers.
The achievement can be obtained by completing Trapper's series of side quests. Specifically, it is obtained once Night Hunt is completed.
Trapper is found in the basement of Yanov station, in front of the staircase near where the bed and the player's personal locker are found.
Trapper’s side quest line is as follows:
- Hunting: Kill the Swamp Bloodsuckers
- Hunting: Unidentified Mutants
- Night Hunt (Achievement unlock)
- Hunting the Chimera

Alpha predator
You killed 300 mutants — the Zone is a safer place, at least for a while.




Ghostbuster
Kill three poltergeists.
Poltergeists are disguised as a Flame orb or Electric orb; they also throw objects at you with telekinesis. Shoot them until they go poof (meaning dead).
For this achievement to pop I had to kill 7 poltergeists.
Since poltergeists are rare in this game here's a few locations I found them.
Southwest Zaton by the crashed Stingray 2 Helicopter - guarded by an Electric orb poltergeist (Does respawn after some time)
South Zaton in the middle of the Circus Anomaly - A Fire orb Poltergeist
Pripyat Kindergarten building - Two Electric orb anomaly live there, you need to progress the main quest until you get a mission from Colonel K to find a missing sentry. Get the timed explosives off the sentry's corpse and blow the door open to enter.
Pripyat Lab X8 - An Electric orb poltergeist terrorizes you here. It is well hidden up a series of stairs and ladders. Easy to miss, I would pass on this one unless you really need another kill.

Marked by the Zone
Manage to survive an emission without taking cover thanks to the anabiotic pills.
This achievement is unlocked by using Anabiotics three times during three seperate emissions.
Anabiotics can be found in several locations and stashes around the game.
One Anabiotic can be found on the table in the Dangerous Cave underneath the Burnt Farmstead in Zaton, guarded by a Controller. Finding this area will also unlock the achievement "Mirone, is that you?"
Another can be found south of the Stingray 5 crash site in Zaton at the end of the sewage tunnel.
The player will be given one for free by Topol after guarding the Stalkers for the Ecologists in Jupiter
The easiest way to acquire these item in bulk is to complete "Strange Phenomenon" quest for Beard, "Intermittent Psy-Emissions" for Hermann and "Anomalous Plant" for Ozersky. Afterwards, the drug can be bought from Hermann and his entire stock is discounted by 40%.

Coffee reactor
You drank 100 energy drinks. The Zone is too big to be slow.
A lot of progress will be made on this achievement over the course of unlocking the other achievements in the game but it can be done quickly if preferred. NPC store inventories restock after a save is loaded so go to a shop, buy all of the energy drinks, create a save, and then reload it. The player will then be able to buy the entire inventory again and repeat the process.
Collection and improvements
Weapon Systems Expert
Get Cardan has all the tools he'll ever need.
There are 3 tools you need to retrieve for this achievement, basic tools, fine tools and calibration tools. These can be found in the following locations.
Basic tools - Zotan - Sawmill
Fine Tools - Zotan - Substation Workshops (protected by mercenaries who require a selection of food to become friendly)
Calibration Tools - Pripyat - Department Store/Old Service Center (requires completion of Pripyat 1 mission)

Hi-Tech Expert
Get Nitro tools a Zone technician could dream of.
For this achievement you need to provide Nitro 3 sets of tools, Basic, Fine and Calibration, you get those from the following locations
Basic Tools - Outside of Yanov station is a railway, follow it south until you find a train car with an electric anomaly moving up and down the length of the carriages, enter from one end and make your way up the length of the train car, hiding from the moving anomaly. when you get to the end of the carriage the tools will be sitting near the exit.
Fine Tools - Take the road west of the concrete bath anomaly and go south up the ramp into the courtyard with the small building, the tools are in this building on the top floor in the attic where you have to crouch and avoid static electrical anomalies.
Calibration Tools - These tools are found in Pripyat after you've completed mission "Pripyat 1", there are two sets of these tools, 1 for Cardan in Zotan and 1 for Nitro, doesn't matter which one you take to who. 1 Set is found in the Department Store in the basement behind the stairs. and 1 is found at the old service center on the second floor after navigating a electric anomaly field.
Returning all these tools to Nitro will net you this achievement

Seasoned Stalker
You have been to virtually all locations near the center of the Zone.
This achievement will generally be unlocked over the course of the game if the player is actively hunting for artifacts or completing every achievement in the game. It requires visiting 18 different anomalous areas across the game.
Many of these are marked on the map, but several are not and can be considered hidden such as the Jupiter Warehouse by the Concrete Bath anomaly, the roof of the Cement Factory, the Volcano anomaly in Pripyat West of the Kindergarten and the rooftop of the Yubileiny Service Center in Pripyat.
If the player is diligent, this can be unlocked before visiting Pripyat for the first time but it will likely be unlocked naturally as the player explores the city.

Leader
Put a great squad together and prove you're a leader.
To unlock "Leader", the player must assemble every possible ally for the Pripyat 1 mission.
- Zulu will join the team by default
- Vano is recruited after paying off his debt to the Bandits during the "Debts" quest. He can be found in Yanov Station.
- Strider can be recruited after his squad joins either Freedom or Duty. He is found just North of the Container Warehouse in Jupiter. The player will need to be friendly with either faction to have them accept Strider and his squad.
- Sokolov can be recruited after the "Anomalous Plant" quest is completed for Ozersky. He is found in the Scientists bunker.

Under every rock
Find and acquire items from every stash in Zaton which contains any weapon.




One of Ours
Show the bandits and their leader, Sultan, who's boss.
You need to complete the quests The Hit and Transaction on the side of the Stalkers. Additionally, in the mission Compass you must bring the Compass artifact to Beard.
The Hit: start with Sultan and then inform Beard(the barman)
Transaction: start with Beard
Compass: You need to start "Tempting Bussiness" with Owl, deliver 3 veles to the scientists and then wait a lot, after waiting for Owl, talk to him, and then talk to Beard(don't forget to mention compass, this is very important)
Combine this one with the A Friend of Stalkers achievement.
But before doing both of them, be sure to unlock Boss first, and then reload a save before starting "The Hit" mission.

Boss
Help Sultan outmaneuver the stalkers and take Beard's business under your control.

marked by zone theres another pill after the bloodsucker big lair. just head back into the pipe and u find it. its the one pipe near the swamp like helicopter.
