Getting Started
The main point of this event is to push the Shadow of Destruction out of our reality.

Short Version is obtaining the following three Dailies and turn in the quest:

  • Shadow of the Colossus
  • Gateway to Nightmare
  • The Worms Turn

Now for the Long Version.
Shadow of the Colossus

This is an Open Mission that requires a few other players to help take down the Shadow Colossus. First, you need to find it. The Zone Map will announce if a portal is open with the message Nightmare Portal: Location. If the portal is open, you can see a giant purple pillar in the skyline as an indicator.

Here is map of the three location where you can find it. You can also ask the chat if the portal is open in that zone or not.

When you have enough players to fight this OM and you're in Team Up, just start killing everything until the Colossus appears. You will know when you see it. If you can't, here is a reference what this thing looks like.

From here, a Tank should pull the Colossus away from the Portal. A group of DPS and a healer should wear it down until the Colossus is dead. However, the Colossus will start getting a buff call the Dark Life, which will give it some Damage Resistance if the Doom Ray isn't taken down. 20 stacks of Dark Life means your group isn't going to take the Colossus down within the time limit.

The main reason the Tank need to move away from the Colossus is because the second group can take down these three Doom Ray (these Orbs thingy) without the Colossus' AoE interrupting the players taking down the Doom Ray. Try to kill all the mobs around the portal so they don't interrupt the players taking down the orbs. Taking down the Doom Ray counts towards the final score.

After taking down the Doom Ray and killing the Colossus, congrats and take that 15 Elysium Coin and whatever random drops that you might get from the reward circle. Turning in the quest should reward your more Elysium Coin if you choose to do so and a Elysium Premium Coin.
Gateway to Nightmare

For this Daily, you kill a bunch of Horrors and destroy their tiny portals. If you did the Colossus open mission, you might probably have the 25/25 kill part done in the daily, and you could just focus on killing the portal. Otherwise, you either run a decent DPS/Tank build if you're soloing or form a group of other players to take these Horrors down. Turning in the quest should reward your more Elysium Coin if you choose to do so and a Elysium Sidekick Coin.
The Worms Turn

Just like the Gateway to Nightmare, instead of Horrors, you kill Worms instead. Find them, kill them, kill their object. Turning in the quest should reward your more Elysium Coin if you choose to do so and a Elysium Sidekick Coin.
The Mage Council
This is just an one time quest where you get some background story of why this event is happening. Its there for lore and you're rewarded with almost nothing.
Farming for more Tokens
If you want to farm more Elysium Coin, be advice there are few ways of doing this:
  • Run both Daily quests on an Alt character
  • Defeating Event Mobs until you hit the 100 Elysium Coin limit per day per character
  • Do the Colossus OM until you hit 1 Nighthawk Store Favor limit
  • Turn in Elysium Premium/Sidekick Favor for Store Favor
  • Spend Drifter Salvage

You can only get 1 Elysium Premium Coin per account every 20 hours and 2 Elysium Sidekick Coin every 20 hours. This mean if you run the event daily with a second character, you will not obtain another Premium/Sidekick Coin. All of these Favors are shared across to all your characters in your account.
