Playing RA3 Online using Tacitus

New server upgrade, you don't need to use the old C&C:Online version. Here, I'll show every step on how to play online using Tacitus!

Getting Setup
You need an account, duh :p

You can't play RA3 online, so you need to register at C&C:Online[cnc-online.net].

Step 1: Register at Revora and C&C:Online
- Here are the forms that you need to fill in order to have C&C:Online and Revora account:

Step 2: Verify and activate
- After you register, be sure to check your email that you used and verify it in order to have active account.

Step 3: Register on your game server
- Well, of course, you need to register or you'll be forever alone playing without friends. :P Lol. Kidding aside, this will be your credentials on RA3.

If it is successful on registration, then congrats! If not, you're forever alone. Joke. :P Well, you need to recheck everything if you put the credentials right.

Download and Setup Tacitus
Battlefield control, standby

Well, you're done on registration, now let's go on downloading and setup the online provider. :D


Step 1: Download Tacitus
- Go on the Downloads tab[cnc-online.net] and click the download button.


Of course, save the download so you can install it. :D

Step 1.1: Disable anti-virus or allow the install to bypass
Well, the new application seems like have a COVID. Lol. You need to disable the anti-virus or add exemption to the program to remove the restriction.

Step 2: Run Tacitus

Run the installer... then click next...
You need to agree, of course.
Install on games (make sure that you have enough space).
Once it is done, tadah! You're good now!
Launching RA3 and preparing for battle
Battlefield control online!
Now you've installed Tacitus, you're almost there, Commander! So let's prepare you on the battle.

Step 1: Launch the game
- Click the game on Steam Library to start. If you have the text appearing, then you have quicklauncher for fast loading.
Quicklauncher can be download here[www.gamereplays.org]. Just extract the launcher to your RA3 folder (where you installed the game).

Step 2: Login on the game
Click on the Skirmish > Online or click the star logo on upper right side of your screen.
Step 2.1: Enter your credentials
You need to fill everything (the credentials are on the earlier step when you registered)... Be sure you're not using the Revora user and pass.
Mine is already filled because it automatically remember my credentials

Once the credentials are good, you're now on the battlefield, Commander!
FAQs
Most common questions about playing online

Is this safe?
- Yes, it is. However, when you download the program, it detects as malware. Be sure to add on ignore list on your anti-virus.

Can we play with friends?
- Oh, yeah! So you'll not be alone anymore. Lol. Be sure that he has the account as well. :D

Why I cannot play when I'm joining?
- Tacitus recently upgrade to 1.13, so be sure to downgrade it to 1.12 in order for you to play (unless others are using the newer version). Just hit the hotkey for Tacitus and choose the Chronoshift to downgrade or upgrade it. (Note: It will restart the game once you applied the version.)
