The main point of this event is to celebrate Independent Day and defeating Red Winter.

Short Version is doing the following:

• Freedom isn't Free
  
• Firework Quest
  
• Adventure Pack: Whiteout and Resistance
  
• Eating Hotdog

Now for the Long Version.

When starting this mission, you're given 15 One-Time Use Magnificant Fireworks. Slot them in your device slot. Your objective is to light the firework in 10 locations in zone given from either three of the quest.
Spacious Skies - The Desert
Terre De Nos Aieux - Canadian Wilderness
O'er The Ramparts - Millennium City

Have the main quest active, go to these location given by the quest, light these firework, and you're done. Turn in the daily quest and get that Single Sidekick Star and Patriot Store Stars.

Be sure to get the Daily Quest from the event Vendor, and if able, check with Lt Patil to see if he offers the Alerts: Red Winter is available. You might as well get those SCR on the side. He is found next to Defender in front of the Powerhouse Entrance.

Queue Red Alert. To queue it, just look for the Hammer/Sickle symbol on the Alert Bar, as seen here.



After watching the cutscene, you're task in defeating three bosses and their group in a time limit. Drago has Lightning Reflexes, so taking him down might take a while with all the dodging. White Wolf use a Might set that can knock the player that is aggroing him. He also has Defiance, which make him hard to kill in a prolong fight. Red Dawn use a PA set, but can be taken down relatively fast due to having Invulnerability, which will not help him against your typical DPS player's dps.



Once that done, you're greeted with another cutscene of Soviet Guard, Hammer, and Sickle. They set a timer that they will nuke everything and you have to defeat them within another time limit. This time, you're dealing with 3 bosses with Lightning Reflexes and Defiance. They are not made to kill you, they are build to stall for time. Try to take out one of the bosses out at a time before the time limit expired. Once you're done, you get greeted with another Cutscene follow by a reward circle. Turn in those dailies and get that Single Premium Star and Patriot Store Stars.

The Event vendor might have a quest that requires you to talk to defender, finish that Adventure Pack, and turn in the rewards. The adventure pack Whiteout and Resistance offers the Patriot Stars every time you finish these stories, giving you another revenue to get these Patriot Stars.

While you won't get any Patriot Stars to do this, nor its not limited to this event, its worth mentioning that you will be getting lots of Hot dogs from those Box of Fireworks that will be given to you from doing the event quest or from killing mobs. Just slot them in your device slot and eat them. Eating 25 Hot Dog should allow you to get an Emote that have your character eat a Hot Dog. Doing this with 10 characters should unlock it account wise. You can check your progress by going to the Perks Menu > Event: Patriot Celebration.

If you want to farm more Patriot Stars, be advice there are few ways of doing this:

• Run both Daily quests on an Alt character
  
• Defeating any mobs until you hit the 100 Patriot Store Stars limit per day per character
  
• Doing the Red Winter Alert again until the Star reward hit its diminish return
  
• Do those Whiteout and Resistance Adventure Packs
  
• Turn in Patriot Premium/Sidekick Stars for Store Stars
  
• Spend Drifter Salvage

You can only get 1 Patriot Premium Star per account every 20 hours and 2 Patriot Sidekick Star every 20 hours. This mean if you run the event daily with a second character, you will not obtain another Premium Star, but you can get a Second Sidekick Star. All of these Stars are shared across to all your characters in your account.
