Dune Awakening Force Enable HDR

Found a post on reddit showing how to edit the games files to "enable" HDR and figured it might be helpful to have here as well.

Enabling HDR

Step 1:

Find the game's engine.ini file. It took some digging to find mine, but I was able to find it at
C:\Users\[your_users_name]\AppData\Local\DuneSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\Engine.ini

Step 2:

Open Engine.ini in a text editor, and add the following lines at the top

[SystemSettings] r.AllowHDR=1 r.HDR.EnableHDROutput=1 r.HDR.Display.OutputDevice=5 r.HDR.Display.ColorGamut=2 r.HDR.UI.CompositeMode=1 r.HDR.UI.Level=1.5

*Note: I have not played around with these, so you may be able to make it look better by messing with them. Feel free to comment any suggestions for better settings

Step 3:

Save the changes and launch the game!
