Intro:

Shock & Awe Extreme is one of the hardest combat challenges in Arkham Asylum. The timer is tight, the enemies swarm fast, and it’s easy to lose your combo. This quick guide shows you the best strategy I used to get all 3 medals easily.

Step 1: Prioritize Knife & Baton Enemies

- Always disarm knife and stun baton enemies first — they break your flow.

- Use Cape Stun (Q) to stun them, then beat them down.

- Don’t try fancy moves — just keep the combo alive.

Step 2: Use Ground Takedowns Wisely

- Only Ground Pound (LCTRL) if there’s enough time and you’re safe.

- Never Ground Pound if enemies are close — it breaks your combo if you get hit mid-animation.

Step 3: Abuse Special Combo Moves

- As soon as you hit a x5 combo, use Combo Takedown (E) or Combo Throw (SPACE).

- They remove enemies instantly and keep your combo going.

- Don’t hoard them — spam them whenever ready.

Step 4: Keep Moving, No Corners

- Always move towards open space.

- Corners = camera mess = combo drops.
