Rainbow Perk Scaling

The new perk system allows for more possibilities, but regardless of what you do, you probably don't want a sea of weak perks. This is where rainbow perks come in, scaling up other perks. These perks can apply to each other as well, allowing for perks to be applied three or four times. This guide outlines a few templates I've come up with that may be of help as starting points for any build.

NOTE: I've labeled and shown these such that King perks are only placed adjacent to the Nationalist perk. However, you could also place King perks adjacent to Verticalist, where these examples only show Generic perks. This might be useful in, for example, The Generalist setup to spread out boosts to four total King perks.
The Triple Nationalist: three x4 King Specific
The Double Nationalist: two x4 King Specific, one x3 Generic
The Generalist: two x3 Generic, two x2 King Specific
The Expansive Nationalist: Max slots and two x4 King Specific
The Expansive Generalist: Max slots and one x3 Generic, three x2 King Specific

@Nordak You unlock a new perk every time you level up, alternating between king perks and generic perks. Every time your highest level king hits a multiple of 3, you also get a rainbow perk. That means if you want to get more rainbow perks it's best to just grind one king.
