💡 Tips to Survive Using Armor
Angle your tank — makes your armor harder to penetrate.

Hide weak spots — like lower glacis or commander cupola.

Use terrain — hills, rocks, and cover increase survivability.

Rotate your hull slightly — increases effective armor thickness.

Keep moving — makes it harder for enemies to hit weak points.

🔬 Armor Testing in the Game
In the hangar, click "X-Ray" → see crew & module layout.

Use "Protection Analysis":

Select an enemy tank.

Choose a shell type.

See what areas they can or can't penetrate.

🧰 Armor by Battle Rating (BR)
BR Armor Characteristics
1.0–3.0 Thin steel armor; APHE is extremely effective
3.3–6.3 Armor becomes more complex, better sloping
6.7–8.7 HEAT appears; spaced and early ERA introduced
9.0–11.7 Composite armor, ERA, cage armor, dynamic systems

📌 Common Weak Spots:
Lower glacis (LFP) — usually thinner than upper plate.

Commander’s cupola / optics — small but penetrable.

Turret ring / turret hull joint — often a vulnerable seam.

Sides — especially weak on modern MBTs.
