INTRODUCTION
Dead Cells is a rogue-lite, Metroidvania-style action-platformer where death = growth. You play as a reanimated creature journeying through a dangerous, ever-shifting island. No checkpoints. Just skill, reflexes, and learning.
BASIC CONTROLS & GAMEPLAY
  • Movement: Left, Right, Jump, Double Jump
  • Dodge/Roll: Invincibility frames – your best friend
  • Weapons: Primary + Secondary (melee or ranged)
  • Skills: Traps, Turrets, Grenades
  • Healing Flask: Use wisely before boss rooms
CORE MECHANICS
  • Cells: Currency dropped by enemies. Spend between biomes with the Collector.
  • Blueprints: Unlock new gear. Survive to deliver.
  • Scrolls: Choose from Red = Brutality, Purple = Tactics, or Green = Survival for stat boosts.

BIOME PROGRESSION ROUTE
Prisoner's Quarters → Promenade of the Condemned / Toxic Sewers → Ramparts / Ancient Sewers → Black Bridge / Ossuary → Stilt Village / Slumbering Sanctuary → Clock Tower / Forgotten Sepulcher → High Peak Castle → Throne Room (Final Boss)
