What do i really need to get started?
Here's what I've done personally and know works.

YOU CAN STILL CONTRIBUTE TO REQUESTS AND GET THE REWARDS FOR THE GREEN "CLAIMED" BOXES WHETHER THE POINTS ARE OVER GOAL OR NOT
  • You do NOT have to max faction rank (5) / done with the entire questline to get rewards.
  • You do NOT have to have already found the rep in the world to start contributing and get credit.
  • Turn-ins are handled by that mysterious QUARTERMASTER icon that appeared on your map near faction fortress ;)
  • You DO have to find the rep in the world to claim rewards when you're happy with reward level.
  • You DO need to be in a guild that's aligned (with either faction), but this can be a guild of one.

Make sure to find rep and claim before the term expires for the week!

Here's me getting all 5 tier rewards from a turn-in i did AFTER some mega-guild maxed out the points in like 5 minutes lol:
Okay, so what do I actually DO?
Open Lansraad screen ("L" by default) to get that grid of objectives.
Take note of the time remaining in the term, top center countdown!

You have this much time to complete objectives and claim rewards, so keep it in mind and maybe don't start the massive grinds with 3 hours left lol.

What's with this grid of boxes?
  • Most will mouseover to "seek the rep in the world" and nothing else. Ignore them.
  • Several will be green and say CLAIMED. These are the ones you want.
  • Seeing points at or over goal, and "CLAIMED" status, are misleading.
  • The tasks are NOT ended; they ARE still available to you!
Mouseover one of the CLAIMED ones.
We don't need to have found the rep yet; we can go find 'em all later.

Read the request details, they look like this:

Therefore:
  • Each "Ship Manifest" i turn in will get you 52 points
  • Each Harkonnen House Troop you murderize is 23 points
  • Each Adept Dirk you turn in is 1091 points

Gotcha Alert: pay attention to whether or not any kill quest have location requirements! If they do, kills of that NPC type anywhere else do not count!

Now look at the reward tiers, below:

The tier costs are always the same - the second reward is always 3500 points, the top reward (usually a Swatch) is always 14000 points, etc.

Math Time!

SO
Putting it all together, for the three tasks we looked at - to claim all five rewards (yes, they are cumulative, you get every tier you surpass the point score for) and get 14,000 points, we'd need to
  • Turn in 270 Ship Manifests
  • Murderize 609 Harkonnens
  • Turn in 13 Adept Dirks.
Turning In and Getting Rewards
So i got together everything I need for my turn-ins; now what do i do with this crap?

The Quartermaster for your faction, near their Fortress in Haggis Basin (ahem), takes the turn-ins.

Sorry, I don't know where the Harko dude is, but it'll be that "Quartermaster" icon that mysteriously appeared on your map for no apparent reason when you gained faction rank ;)

For Atreides, he's hanging out at the little garage north of Helius:

  • You do NOT need to turn everything in at once, you can come back and keep turning in more as you get more.
  • I am not sure if this guy is needed for the kill quests. I doubt it, but i have not verified it, so maybe check with him just in case after you're done being murderhobo

NOW it's time to find the reps - they give the rewards

Once you know which factions you're getting rewards from, go find a guide or interactive map of your choice (there are many that list them all better than i could show them), and track 'em down before the Lansraad term expires.

  • I do not know if you can claim from previous week, so don't take chances!
  • Once you qualify for a reward, they will have dialogue choice to claim it even if they won't talk to you about GIVING the task.
  • You can "cash out" at any time so if you're grinding for 14,000 don't talk to them earlier than that - I have not verified if you can talk to them again once you get more points, so again, don't take chances!
Th- Th- That's All, Folks
That's everything you need to know to Do Things and Get Stuff. There's more about the Lansraad voting system that's related to choosing the weekly buff and whatnot, but that's more for large Guild efforts.

Enjoy your rewards!
