Before You Start

You can pause the game at any time with no effect on your completion time (Thanks @Kazadrur).
*Update: May require using windowed mode (Thanks @ Drinking Games).
You have to be fast (I think I barely made it myself). Do not forget to change the walking speed to 'fast'.
Do not check the map.
Do not use hints.
Regarding the following achievement:
New Year
Year walk on New Year's eve.
The date on your PC need to be the 31st of December. You either have to, obviously, wait for the actual day, or change the internal clock of your PC. You will get the achievement as soon as you start the game.

Video Version

I edited out the parts where I made small mistakes, so this run is actually closer to 20 minutes. Not sure if the intro counts. Still, I would recommend moving as quick as possible.

Solve the puzzle on the cube clock by picking the shapes in the following order: upside down triangle, diamond, circle, diamond, top half circle.
Keep clicking the girl until she tells you to go back
Logo Type
A three letter word in the dark. Without it, it's silent.
Before clicking anywhere, highlight the letters so you would avoid making mistakes. You need to reveal the letters "EAR" by clicking on them first, then reveal the rest
Go to the church and click on the key
Digital Rune
A mysteriously modern rune.
Use the rune to draw the number 8
You will find a woman here
Wait for her here, then follow her

OWL 6
The owls sing a song that they learned in the lobby of a castle on a remote island.
To get the achievement, click on the owls in the following order: left, right, right, left, left, left, right, left, right, left
Then, to open the door, do the next order: left, right, left, right, right, right, left, left
Once inside, go 2 rights, 3 lefts, 2 lefts, 2 rights, 2 lefts. Click on the key
Pull the horse man out of the water then wait for him to show all 4 figures. Now open the encyclopedia and pick the first baby from the bloody entry (you will need to keep holding the mouse button while carrying the next 3 babies. Otherwise, they will return to their original location)
Go inside the hut. Open the locks while holding both the 'N' and 'U' keys on your keyboard and pick the second baby
Take it to the horse man
Pull the carriage forward until the ghost of the mother and the baby show up. Pull it again to reveal the third baby
Take it back to the horse man
Spin the machine until the ghost shows up. Back up as soon as it does and pick the last baby from the sail (if you miss it go back and spin the machine a bit more)
Go back to the horse man. Click on the key then on the fire balls. Grab the bigger ball and take it with you (it doesn't go all the way back if you let go)
Use it to light the hut. Unlock the latch in the ceiling then climb the ladder.
Keep clicking the crow. Take the key with you
Get inside the church

To get the achievement, use the following pattern with the gravestones: 4, 0, 1, 1
Then to progress, use this pattern: 4, 2, 2, 3
Now take several full laps (the goat head will glow each time you finish one) around the church in this order: Left, right, left, right, right, left, right
Move the goat's cape to the sides then break his heart open. Do the same to the glass.
Click next to the small stones that are on top of the big object to break them.
Spin the next object vertically
Click on the signs from the smallest to the one with the most stars
Move the small objects in a clockwise pattern, then move them to opposite direction each time one of them latches onto to the bigger object
Spin the final object horizontally
As soon as you are able to move, keep running to the right until the game is over

Do a full year walk without any hints.
Do a full year walk without looking at the map.
Do a full year walk without uncovering the secrets of the rune and the doll. The grim will visit your dreams.
Do a full year walk in 20 minutes.
If done correctly, you should get the rest of the achievements when the credits start rolling.

Thank you, this was fantastic!

1. Changing the system time still works for the New Year achievement (at least on Windows 11)
2. Using Windowed mode and changing focus still pauses the game AND still allowed me to get the Year Run achievement

I recommend this walkthrough for anyone wanting to get the achievements.

just played this and wanted to 100%, so thank you for the guide! also, I might actually do the NYE achievement on NYE bc its less than a week away atm, so i feel like im lucky lmao

I can't confirm or deny King Jonam's comment about pausing no longer working, but if you play the game in windowed mode the game will pause the timer whenever it is not the active window- you can freeze time whenever you need to review the video and it won't disqualify you from the achievement.

Thanks for the guide! My achievements weren't popping up on my screen until the owl puzzle which had me worried for bugs, but after the game was done I checked my profile and the Minute Box/Logo Type/Digital Rune had all unlocked as expected.

Pausing the game now keeps you from getting the 20 minute achievement unfortunately

I know this is an old guide but I just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone who plays this down the line :^)
