Prologue

This manual is based on the known facts about how to emulate the controllers. Thanks to developers.

1. Download and install program to emulate joysticks vJoy. You don't need to change the advanced settings, because they are not used in the game actually.
Stable build, download link at the bottom of the page - VJoy Virtual Joystick Driver v1.2 (Includes key to joy application):

After starting the program icon will appear in the system tray.

vJoy will give you just two of the controller, but need another one.

2a. Connect gamepad. It doesn't matter whether the controller for Xbox or not.

2b. Skip this step if you have a gamepad.
Download another program to emulate joysticks PPjoy.
Stable build, which is hard to find on the Internet, because the development of the program discontinued - PPJoySetup-0.8.4.5-early-release:

Restart OS in Disable driver signature enforcement mode (Windows Vista or 7 or 8 or 8.1). Install PPjoy and remove second PPjoy controller, because you don't need four in total.

You can start Keyboard joystick at any time:

3. Download Xbox 360 controller emulator x360ce:

Launch and automatically update the settings for all three controllers.

All three joysticks should be highlighted in green.
Close x360ce window.

Incident in the pyramid

Start passing first Pyramid of Osiris level, reaching the checkpoint on a bridge after these platforms

Exit the game.

Copy three files from x360ce folder to Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris directory:

x360ce.exe

x360ce.ini

xinput1_3.dll

Launch the game and switch to four player local co-op

Continue the game, countdown started

Now three bots in the game

Ammit appears

Run! (Bots died immediately)

Lara was faster than demon

Achievement pop-up

Epilogue

1. Delete three x360ce files from Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris directory:

x360ce.exe

x360ce.ini

xinput1_3.dll

2. Uninstall PPjoy if you used it. Restart OS in normal mode.

3. Uninstall vJoy or just disable virtual joysticks in Device Manager if you want to use them in the future.

Now you are ready for battle with Microsoft gods

Worked perfectly, got the achievement with no problems. However, I was wondering if I did all well, 'cause at the beginning I didn't see the option for more than two players. Turned out I forgot to use one app from your guide. So thanks for that, really useful if we want to get 100% achievs in the game.

I had the same problems like a few other players here, that i can´t choose 4 player local co-op. My problem was, that i installed the 64 bit version of x360ce, after installing the 32 bit version it workedfor me :)

Same problem here. I did everything exactly as the guide told me, got all the controllers to work and copied the files. But the game won't recognize the 2 virtual controllers and select 4 local players.

You can try with the Steam feature Remote play, it also works

VJoy download link gives "Oops! Something' Wrong" page with "Account Suspended" written on top of it. Can you provide a new link?
