Wander allows for four different transformations. You start out as a lumbering tree and can find "transform stones" which allow you to shape change into a flying griffin, a human, or a little sea dragon.

So what are the cautions?

• Part of the fun of Wander is to find these things yourself. This guide might help you get there quicker but would be considered a spoiler.
  
• After starting as a tree, you need to learn human form first. If you learn another form first, your map key won't work and you will be unable to transform again until you find human form. I made this mistake and it was a frustrating few hours trying to backtrack and find the human transform stone.

As you lumber along the path in tree form, you will start seeing ruins up to your left along with opera singing. That's where you want to head to find human form. In the midst of the ruins is a transform stone which will allow you to take on the human shape.

Once you've taken on human form, there are a couple of tips:

• Run by pressing forward (W) then tapping your Left Shift.
  
• You can now switch between your forms by pressing M for map and going to the appropriate transform stone.

After finding human form, head to the right and down to the beach and look for a set of docks. In the middle of the dock formation is a stone for learning the swimming form so you can visit undersea cities. Note: you can swim as a human and even speed-siwm with the shift key but the swiming dragon will be helpful underwater.

The last, and most difficult transform to find is the griffin. To find the griffin stone, you need to head to the highest point ont he starter island. If you find stairs up, take them. Once you get up to the red buildings at the top, look for some bushes to the left to go through and find a path that continues up. This is probably the trickiest part because it's not obvious the path continues.


A few flying tips:

• Hand off the mouse unless you want to see updrafts and downdrafts. You put your hand on that mouse and you're going to mess up your direction. Only use the WASD keys and flying will work as expected. The mouse button will reveal updrafts (white) and downdrafts (pink).
  
• The G key allows you to go between flapping and gliding.
  
• Watch for drafts that can plunge you down to the ground
  
• Humans can ride the back of griffins (which unlocks an achieve!)
