Bionic Dues tips and 100% achievement guide
By Deathroll
In this guide I will show you how to get 100% achievements on this game and what you can do do to make this game way easier.
You should play through this game at least one time at normal difficulty to get the hang of the gameplay basics. Everything in this game is about planning. So it would be better if you know what to do even in the first days because expert difficulty won't forgive mistakes.

Note: Some achievements I don't mention in this guide simply because you will get them anyway while doing the other achievements.

And remember you have to do every single achievement in this game on expert difficulty!

How to play on expert
If you read this then you completed the game at least once and you know how basic things like hacking, virus, exo stats/weapons work. Well if you think you're ready you can jump on expert difficulty now. Before you try the 1 exo achievements and the options which makes the game harder (dead is dead, ironman...) you should do one game with 4 exos on expert first (I did the same).

First off I can say that you ALWAYS should use the "short game" option. This makes the game easier in my opinion and you will be finished much faster (3~6 hours depends on how much you have to retry something). But beware you have to take care more of which missions you choose!

You can save and load everytime in this game (except in ironman mode). So you can make as many saves as you want and you can overwriting them. If you are not sure what to do at some point then just save up and try different ways.

Rey is by far the best Commander character in Bionic Dues. Use him everytime except you go for the other Pilot achievements.
The reason he's the best is that your Exo will replaced with a copy of themselves 2! times if they die. The copys also got full ammo again. This is way better than the advantages you got from the other commaders.
So I suggest you to use Rey on your first expert run.

Which Exo you want to use depends on your playstyle. I personally think the Siege Exo is the best with his high aoe range and his skills on his Epic version. If you got the Epic Upgrade then all Exos of the same type will the Epic. So if you got Epic Siege Upgrade and you use 4 of the Siege Exos then the game will be turn into an easy win.

Then the game begins there is 1 important thing you should achieve as fast as possible. The Epic Upgrade. Well this mission appears rare so when it didn't apperead on the map after the first 3~4 missions I often decided to restart the game from beginning because without the Epic Upgrade the game will be very difficult and sometimes you will be in impossible situations too.

Sometimes your ammo seem very limited at the beginning so make use of the pistol which the Brawler and Science Exo have to avoid a few enemies.

If you finally got the Epic Upgrade then you should focus on certain missions. You have to hold the enemie robot army weak. They become extremely strong if you choose the wrong missions.

Here is the list of missions which are important after the Epic Upgrade mission:
Salvage (weak the robot army)
Factory (weak the robot army)
Robot Command Center (5 days less to the final day)
Lion's Den (thinning the robot army horde for the final day)
Assassination (kill some Bosses out of the robot army)

This are the missions you should always focus on. All other missions are kind of pointless in comparison. You get good items while looting stuff with hacking and finishing missions anyway and you can buy the items you want. So mission where you get rewarded with nice items should be only choosed if there is none of the missions I mentioned on the map.
Okay only Salvage, Factory and Robot Command missions. If the enemie robot army is growing to much then choose Lion's Den and Assassination missions to lower the amount of enemies for the final day. If you do this right then the final day will be extremely easy with only a handful of enemies.

Congratulation you finished the game now on expert. Now it's time to get every single achievement :)
Win missions in a certain way
A Rogue With No Points In

This achievement is pretty easy. Just play a barricade mission on a random expert run and kill all enemies there without using stealth. Shouldn't be a problem for anyone.

Creative Destruction

This one is a bit harder. If you find a good overload, virus or turret items on a expert run then save the game and use this items to kill all enemies in a barricade mission. I suggest you to do this on your Single Science or Ninja Exo run because the turrets will do the main damage for you.

Pistols at Dawn

Can be a tricky achievement. Choose a assassination mission when only 1 or 2 bosses are in the enemie robot army. Shoot their health down until they got a few left and then kill them with the pistol. Use your best items to boost the pistol damage because the pistol is very weak. You can also make use of the electric fields to weak them if your other weapons are to strong and the boss has still to much health for the pistol kill.

No Frozen Population Units Left Behind

This achievement can be a bit luck based. I suggest you to do this on the siege exo run. Use your aoe skills to kill all enemies in the hostage rescure mission. Don't worry about the aoe damage. It won't hit the cryopods. Try to kill the enemies while they are hidden so they won't attack the cryopods. You may have to retry this a few times because they die very fast if the enemies shoot them.
Win the game in a certain way
Flawless Victory

Easy Achievement. Just save before you do any mission and while doing the mission then this should be absolutely no problem.

Robot Army? I'll Be Right Back, I Got This.

A bit harder than Flawless Victory. I highly recommend you to use Rey as your commander because then the exo has 2 more lives and you won't lose it that fast. Also don't forgot to save the game a lot. :)

Why, Exactly, Would I Walk Into That Notorious Dragon's Lair?

Win the game without a Epic Exo... Yeah this can be tricky. In my opinion the Science and Ninja Exo do good without the Epic upgrade so I suggest you to use them or one of them. Make use of turrets and try to hold the trap skill high.
Win the game with a certain commander
If you think you are good enough you can combine these achievements with the 1 Exo achievements. But that's up to you. All I can say is that Rey is much much better with 1 Exo than the other Commanders.

Using 4 Exos safer
Using 1 Exo faster because more achievements at once but harder
You decide

You can use any exo for any commander and you still can win easily. This just depends on your playstyle. In my opinion the Siege Exo is the best thats why I used it for the most commander achievements.

It's Just A Flesh Wound!

The best commander. I used him the most time. You have near unlimited ammo for each mission and don't have to fear invisible enemies because of 2 extra lives.

They Never Knew What Hit Them

Starting up with Epic Upgrade. Really useful because you can just start focusing on important missions.

Peekabo, I See You

Perfect commander for the Ninja Exo. You see all loot and objectives you need to finish the mission. So make use of the Stealth and avoid the enemies while looting the **** out of the mission. :)

So I Rewired It

You get slightly better item stats. The hard beginning on each expert run will be a bit easier. Not that good later imo but with 4 Epic Siege Exos this wouldn't be a problem.

Shopping Is Not An Optional Activity. Shopping Is A SUPERPOWER!

Great Commander. You can buy near every item you want for a reduced price. So you can make your Commander OP. I remember I got around 14000 with my Siege Exos Skills and this commander

Axial Tilt

You can see a great amount of the map very early. Which means you can take the Epic Upgrade earlier and you can see most of the useful missions. Sounds great.
Complete the game with 1 Exo
This are by far the hardest achievements in my opinon. Especially the beginning can be very frustrating and sometimes near impossible. The Epic Upgrade is even more important here for any Exo because you have only 1 Exo with very limited actions.

I highly recommend to use Rey as Commander for any 1 Exo run because you will have 3 times of health, ammo and other actions with him.

I also recommend to restart the campaign if you can't find a Epic Upgrade mission on the map.
Simply because the first missions are very hard to go through. You have to save and restart a lot.

If you are going for the 1 Exo achievements you will get many other achievements too. The ones for win with 2,3,4 exos for example.

I Am Juggernaut

In the early game you will have a hard time to go through the missions with your low ammo. Try to kill many enemies at once so you won't waste your ammo and try to avoid bigger enemies. Later on with the Epic Upgrade you should use your best items on the aoe skills. At the point you got Epic Upgrade the game will be slightly easier if you choosing missions to weak the enemie robot army. Siege Exo is best!

Lone Wolf

The Sniper Exo is slightly better than the Siege in the Non-Epic form. With the high range the sniper stun you can avoid more enemies and take out the a great amount. However in the late game his skills aren't that good due to the lack of aoe. So you should thinking about changing your playstyle at this point and using turrets and items which increase your trap skill. The Virus is also very useful if you think the bosses are getting to strong in late game.

Optimus

The Assault has the most weapons and ammo. But only 2 Computer slots in his Epic form. So going for turrets isn't a good option. The Playstyle here is near the same as the Siege. Get the Epic Upgrade as soon as possible and try to boost your good skills.

The One

The Brawler. Pretty strong and one thing makes him better as the assault. He got the pistol. Yes the weakest weapon in the game but it stuns enemies. Extremely useful on expert diff especially the beginning will be less stressful. Just stun the big guys with a range boosted pistol and make your way through the missions. The shotgun can be nice for shooting around corners if you put items in. In late game boost your best skills or going for turrets. Just what you enjoy more.

Einstein

The Science Exo got a huge bonus on the computer related stats. You can hack more doors and loot more. Also you should go for the turret build as soon as possible once you got Epic Upgrade. You got extremely weak weapons so make use of the pistol (yes he got one too) until you can build good turrets because it's impossible to kill all enemies with a science exo on expert. turrets, turrets, turrets.

The Last Ninja

The Ninja Exo got weak weapons with only a short range. But you got a bonus for populusion related stats which means more stealth and more trap skill which leads to better turrets. Make use of your high amount of stealth actions to make it through the early game until you can build strong turrets. You can also receive no damage while being in stealth. So use stealth then go to a fuel tank and destroy it with is enemies around without having a scratch.
Ironman, Dead is Dead, On your Toes and WDTC
This achievements sound hard if you read the description but they are actually easier than the 1 Exo achievements if you do them with 4 Exos.

You can combine these achievements and you can even do all of them at once! But this would be pretty hard and dying in the late game would be frustrating.

I myself combined some of these achievement but I won't recommand doing "Who Designet This Circuit?" with other options.

You have to use Ironman mode combined with these options. That means no save for you. If you fail you have to deal with it. That means you should use the best combination here.

I used Rey (of course) as commander and 3 Siege Exos for killing and 1 Science Exo for Hacking/Looting and Virus.
This combination is by far the best in my opinion and I used this on all this achievements in this section.

You will also unlock a few other achievements while going for them.

I Paid My Dues

Ironman and Dead is Dead. Which means if one of your Exo die you won't get it back for the rest of the game. If you use Rey and you carefully this is doable. Beware of invisible enemies. A high sensor range can be useful. If one of your Exos got hit badly and you don't have many lives from Rey left then switch to another Exo before it dies. Take note on everything what is visable and what not in the mission and you can do this.

Twitch Master

Ironman and On Your Toes! If you do nothing for 5 seconds while you are in a mission then you activate automatically the "wait" action. Which means the enemie bots are doing one action. You can avoid most trouble if you going slowely forward and don't rush into a large group. Remember that only activated bots are doing actions!

Power Saver

Ironman and Who Designed This Circuit. WDTC makes all of your items need more energy. So you can't wear many items if you don't have much which produce. Get as many items as you can which produce Energy look into the shop after every mission passed to buy these items. If you do that this way you can still equip good items later. Reactors which gave +% to all weapons damage are the best.

100 enemie bots with a single shot
You get the achievement for killing 25 and 50 bots to with this achievement

Boom, Problem Solved!

This achievement sounds crazy and impossible. I seriously thought it was impossible because I had no idea how to do this at first. It's very hard but doable.

This is the way I finally got this:
Start a new game on expert difficult with emma as commander.
Use 2 Siege Exos and 2 Science Exos.
Play with this until midgame with Epic Upgrades.

Ok now you are at the point you can going for this achievement. First off look in the shop for as many range+ and aoe size+ items as you can and buy them. With Emma as commander this is not a problem. Use the high range items on your Science Exo pistol and the high aoe items on you biggest Siege aoe weapon. You pistol range have to over 15 and the aoe size more than 16. The more so better.

Now if you got this all start restarting a Firefight mission until you find a Skybot. The Skybot is the Key for this achievement. Use now the pistol to stun him. He keep spawning Dumbots and you need to stun them too. If you see 100 or more on the screen then use your big Siege aoe weapon to kill them all. Don't forget to save.

It will be looking similar to this:

This can still take a few attemps because the space for 100 bots have to be big. It took me near 3 hours to get the situation on the screenshot. It stucked many times on 95 so I was really unlucky on that.
Good Luck!
I hope I helped some people with this guide. If you still have questions then ask me here in the guide or add me.

It changes everything once you realize that only 5 mission types do anything towards winning the game. The final battle went from impossible to only slightly challenging. Thanks for the great guide!

'Creative Destruction' is also earned if you finish a mission without actually destroying anything (or any bot). It's enough to finish the mission without ever firing a weapon (e.g. sneak to the exit).
