Q: What's with the order the items are listed in?
A: They're about the order you would encounter them progressing through the stage.

Q: I see a creepy chain skull! I feel uncomfortable!
A: That's an elevator. Activate it from the second elevator you encounter in that stage, use it as a shortcut later on.

Q: What's an UNMARKED SECRET?
A: An UNMARKED SECRET is not listed as a secret in the game, but it's there. Collect all three for the best armor in the game. You'll know it when you see it.

Q: What's a weird sky light?
A: I have no idea. They're just sort of there in high places. I don't have the slightest idea what they do.

Q: I found a subweapon in a different place for the first time than listed in your guide!
A: They're all over the place. The first time you get a chest that contains it, you get that subweapon.

Q: What about hidden chests containing soul orbs?
A: What about them? You find em. Be thorough.

Q: Is the Fenrir Ring required for anything?
A: Not really. It'll save you from some damage every now and then and improve your movement slightly. In no way required.

Q: Is the Pazuzu Cape required for anything?
A: Devil's Peak has a few things that need it, and the Underground Temple. A lot of items that require the Harpy Boots can be made easier to get if you also have the Pazuzu cape.

I, uh. Didn't know you physically had to find a new exit after lighting the three statues in the dark forest. Wasted a lot of time leaving the stage normally.

Devil's peak has one; you'll need the cape. In first area, find the wind column and ride it up, then stand on the left platform.

Runestones are just cool really. And yeah, you can probably sequence break if you're feeling suicidal or gutsy.

You can get the Harpy Boots without the Siren Scale, but it takes a couple suicide runs.
