Introduction

This Guide shows you, yes you, the easiest way to get money in the game. You can be any level when attempting this.

before you start this you're going to need a few items -

All 3 Gambling Magazines -

Gambling 1
Gambling 2
Gambling 3

(optional) Some Weapons For Crowd Control -

Spiked Bat and Anything else fast hitting

(optional) 2 Bargaining Magazines (Makes shizzle Cheaper = Less Grinding)

Obtaining The Magazines

Before going and getting these magazines you should take some kind of crowd control weapons like a sledgehammer ( Can Be Found when comming out of the safhouse) Or a spiked bat.

Gambling 1

Area - Royal Flush Plaza
Benefit - "significant increase" in playing gambling games
Location - Ragazines on the second floor

Gambling 2

Area - Palisades Mall
Benefit - "significant increase" in playing gambling games
Location - Stan's Large Print Books and Magazines

Gambling 3

Area - Silver Strip
Benefit - "significant increase" in playing gambling games
Location - Shamrock Casino in back behind bar

Optional Magazines

***These Magazines are optional but will significantly lower the price of items in the looters store***

Bargaining 1

Area - Americano Casino
Benefit - 10% lower prices at the pawn shops
Location - balcony where Zombrex is located by Jumping across the lights from the second floor of the BBQ restaurant.

Bargaining 2

Area - Food Court
Benefit - 10% lower prices at the pawn shops
Location - catwalk above Speedy espresso, climb the vending machines by Lomardi's to get up there. 2 Bows can also be found there :)

Now Begins The Money Makin'

Once you have got all 3 gambling magazines, make your way over to the slot ranch casino. It's located to the left of sports car in the Royal Flush Plaza.

If you have below 30,000 Dollars do this first

*** Skip This If you have above 30,000 ***

Make your way over to these slot machines they are directly right of the bathroom.
They Look like this.

(Only 2 work)
Press each machine exactly 5 times. Ding! easy 30k.

Money Makin' Madness

Now that you and lil' chucke green have the magazines nothing stops you from winning big on this slot machine. You can find the desired Slot machine directly left of the hallway leading to the food court.

It looks like this

Use the machine to your hearts content. You may not win everytime but you will get loads of money
trust me.

i know im old to this, but i made around 300-400k in like a short amount of time with the machine in the casino where u had to grab the money by pressing space. i did a macro so 1 space = 10 max money everytime ezy

if you activate the machines in the yucatan the megaman slots payout 5k per win with all mags so 25k per machine. you can also easily go to rojo diablo and make repulse to gamble in peace and stop at the slot ranch too

The alternate ending to Dead Rising 2-
get 25+ million and head to the Arena
Enter the arena area. TK's bodyguards will run up to you but Chuck will show the money and the bodyguards will get TK. Chuck gives TK most of his winnings and TK quits his heists, leaves fortune city and offers a few choppers to get the survivors out of there along with admiting he framed Chuck. But they bail out TK and Chuck and TK enjoy their money.

I dont think the gambling magazines actually help with the giant slot machine. One time when I was gambling and no magazines I got $100k but with the magazines I dont get anything higher than 100k either. Unless significant increase means that your odds of winning are higher and not the amount paid out.

Very strange. As far as I'm aware you're the only person in the history of deadrising to have this problem. The only thing I can suggest is leaving the area and returning. Personally I've only ever had bad luck without the magazines. One thing to remember is that the probability of winning is the same regardless of how many times you use it. - Chris/Dylan/Jihadi

I dont know if I have the worst luck ever or if theres something different about the win rates for me, but with all three magazines I lost $40,000 without winning one single time on the big slot machine...

suggest not spending your money until you need the car (new game + does not keep the cars)
