Introduction
Hello there, if you clicked this you're probably either curious if you know every way to stop it, or you simply don't know any way to stop it.
In this guide I will just very shortly go through each way on how to stop the Peon Ball from exploding in your face.
Most of these ARE explained in various points in game, but if you're like many and just skipped through it or forgot it and you're now wondering how the **** you stop it, this is for you.

So, lets get started.
How-to
So, there's three ways to stop the Peon Ball from exploding in your face.

One and the simplest way I'd guess, is to simply switch Chou-Chou out for one of your Peons.
Chou-Chou being the cause for it, switch her out eliminates it completely, but you also won't be able to use her.

Second way to do it, also very simple, is to just Moe Kill stuff, turning them into your peons, Item Kill or Frenzy Kill won't do it.

Third way is something you don't unlock until you reach Moon World, and is called Peon Commands.
These are something you can choose to enable during combat, LT on controller, or Z on keyboard.
Basically these are Commands that you do that reduce the % on Peon Ball overload by 1-25% for every time you do it.
Be careful though, if you get something you can't do, you'll get a penalty, adding % instead.
Only Peons can clear these commands, Chou-Chou is not able to.
These commands can range from you having to use a normal attack to you having to get a 15 hit combo using blast off attacks.

Here we go...

For this one, just choose the "Defend" action

For this one just blast an enemy into the big crystal

Ranging from a 5 to 15 hit combo using blast off into enemies/crystals

Just use a normal offensive skill, Ogre [Element] Smash for example

Use a special move, the ones that cost PP/SP, CC's "Seven's Impact" for example

Switch out for another Peon

Use a healing skill, can be normal heals or a cure, "Sleep Cure" for example

Blast the enemy to the sky, gonna personally have to test if it requires fever mode

Use a healing item, doesn't really matter what, as long as it heals something

Use enhancing skills, as in, skills that boost a stat

Cannot move during the characters turn, attack/heal/boost/defend without moving

Use a skill with the same attribute as the characters affinity (Sadist for example)

Kill an enemy, if enemy doesn't die then you will fail it

And that's all for now, will keep updating this when I get pictures of others.
Some I still need to test as I'm not 100% sure what needs to be done, blasting an enemy to the ceiling for example, not sure if Fever Mode needs to be activated or not for this, don't think so though.

Easiest way to make peon ball harmless is to leave topmost character slot empty. Peon ball damage spreads from top slot down and stops at an empty slot. So with top slot empty there's no damage at all.The only drawback is that you can only use three characters in battles.
NB: This works in "Mugen Souls" but not in "Mugen Souls Z".

if in mugen field you can just seal the peon ball. even if it says it overloads, nothing will happen.
