Level 1: Double-Cross on Nar Shaddaa

Find 8t88 before he escapes with your father's data disk. His cronies are out there with blasters in hand and your name in the clip. Tread lightly.

Mission Objective: Find 8t88 before he escapes with your father's data disk.

Leave your table and turn right to go into the main bar area. Continue through the doorway, heading up the ramp to the left. Go to the end of the room and turn right to find a downward-sloping ramp. Meander through the next hallway and cross the bridge.

Secret Area 1/6: There is a platform to the right of the bridge; its walls are covered in graffiti. Make your way down there and head up the steep slope to the top. Jump up onto the roof and look for a square hole; drop down inside. Continue to the other end of the room, hop across the fan, and continue down the hallway to an elevator. Take the elevator to the top to find the IR Goggles.

Open the door and hang a right onto another bridge; there is a platform to the left of it that contains some ammo and shields. Continue through the next doorway and around to the right. At the end of both ledges, hang a right and ride the elevator.

Look for the narrow metal bridge and cross it, then cross the next one and enter the building. Wind around to the left, go up the ramp, and go through the door at the end of the hall. Cross the bridge to the next building.

Secret Area 2/6: Instead of entering the building, go to the edge of the floor across from the doorway and look down. There is a Gran shooting at you from down below. Run off the edge and land on the ledge with the Gran. Turn to the right and look for a small elevator; ride it to the top and drop down the fan to return to the previous area.

In this building, there is a sloped cargo lift ramp and a switch. There is a switch on the bottom level as well. Call the lift and when it arrives, board it and ride it to the top.

Secret Area 3/6: Just before the cargo lift reaches the top of the ramp, there is a small entryway accessible only by crouching. Slide down the slope and land in the room.

Once at the top of the ramp, cross the bridge to the left and enter the red room. Continue to the end where a female civilian is standing by a switch. Hit it to call the cargo lift and board it. Ride it to the top and continue across the rooftop to the next doorway.

Turn to the right and enter the small control room, then hit the switch to open one of the sections of roof in the next area. Continue into the area and drop into the room through the open section of roof. Directly across from it is a large rectangular piston and a switch on the wall. Hit it to bring the piston down, then hit the switch again while standing on the piston to ride it up to the ledges above.

Jump to the ledge and circle around to the small door. Open it and go left down the narrow hallway, then curve right and cross the bridge.

Secret Area 4/6: Turn left and run across the sloped ledge to a cubbyhole in the far wall.

Go through the doorway and cross the second bridge; a TIE fighter will take off when it sees you. Go through the next door and continue forward to a trench. Jump inside and jump out on the other side, then locate the part of the floor that ends (underneath the narrow window with enemies shooting through). Drop down and head up the ramps to enter the control room, then locate the switch on the wall. Hit it to allow the metal doors to slide open and allow access into the storage area below. Quickly exit the room and jump out before the metal door opens; when the storage area opens, the control room will be blocked off.

Secret Area 5/6: Instead of taking the ramp down into the storage area, walk along the top of the wall. Turn around and look down to see a niche in the stack of crates below. Strategically fall into that niche, then jump up onto the top of the crates. Run across to the other end and hop inside.

Secret Area 6/6: From where you dropped out of the previous secret area, continue straight ahead to the back of the stack of crates, then run up the slope and go through the doorway. Enter the room to get the drop on a couple Gran that are stationed above the fans.

Drop down one of the fans and into the hallway, and open the larger door to finish the level.
Level 2: The Lost Disk

Recover your father's data disk from the clutches of 8t88's severed arm and find your way back to the rooftops of Nar Shaddaa, to meet Jan.

Mission Objective: Recover your father's data disk from the clutches of 8t88's severed arm.

Make your way safely down from the landing pad to the rooftop. From there, drop off the edge and into the sewer. Grab 8t88's arm and the door will open.

Mission Objective: Work your way to the top of Nar Shaddaa.

Run through the pipe; at the intersection, take the pipe on the right-hand side. Continue to a pipe that runs downward and drop into it. Continue through to the final intersection and drop down into the pipe on the right-hand side. Turn around, run out of the gutter, and go through the door on the far end of the room.

Either drop to the lower floor from the ledge on the left or take the ramp, then drop down into the next room and follow the corridor to the very end. Curve around to the right to come upon a ledge. Drop down and continue to the end of the hallway.

Secret Area 1/8: Stop about halfway down the hallway where there is a cut-away in the wall. Look down at the ground and inch forward to the edge; there will be a ledge below. Turn around and back off the ledge. Once you're in freefall, hold the forward key to stick your landing.

The hallway leads to a rooftop with a series of ramps leading up to a metal bridge. Go up the ramps and cross the bridge to the room beyond. Go up the ramp to the right and through the door. From this area, hang an immediate left and go down the slope to the far doorway. Meander through the short hallway to the cargo transportation area.

Ignore the first cutout in the rooftop, instead going to the left and across the rooftop to the far end. Locate the absolute farthest opening in the roof and drop onto the highest crate to avoid taking damage. Drop down to the floor.

The underground ramps will provide access to the cargo transportation system, which will need to be activated to advance to the next part of the level. Use the underground ramp pictured for the most efficient route. About halfway through, there will be a ramp to the left that will lead up into a room. Go to the end of the room and turn right, then climb the cargo crates to the far end of the room and take the elevator to the floor above.

Drop onto the conveyor belt and jump to the ledge; hit the switch to start the conveyor system. Turn around and take the ramps down, then take the ramp at the other end of the room back into the underground passageways from before. Turn left and emerge up into the room, then repeat the entire navigation process to end up back on the ledge. This time, however, don't drop onto the conveyor belt itself. Step onto a passing crate and ride it to the end, up the lift, and all the way up. Jump to the ledge and go through the large door.

Jump up onto the crates and drop down, then go through the smaller door at the top of the stairs. Grab the red key and go back. Cross over the beams to the other side, then turn left. Hit the switch to move the beams to the other side, then use the red key to enter the control room. Hit the switch to open the large door across the way. Cross the beams again and follow the conveyor belt into the next room. Take the ramps to the top of the room.

Secret Area 2/8: Jump onto the crate from the first ramp, then to the far ledge. There's an armor vest and some energy cells in the cubbyhole.

From the top floor, hang a right and drop down onto the conveyor belts. Wait for the cargo crates to pass by standing off to the side of the conveyor belts. Run against the belts to the end, then take the ramp to the top. When the next crate comes down, jump on top of it and run across to the next ledge. Run up ramps and across the tops of cargo crates until you reach the top. Cross through the room and out into another cargo transportation area.

Secret Area 3/8: In order to access this secret area, the forklifts need to remain in their original positions. Head out onto the right-hand arm of the forklift on this level, take a running leap, and jump off the end and land on the ledge below (saving before attempting this feat is highly recommended). From the ledge, run across to the far forklift and use its left arm to reach the secret area.

Head back to the other end of the ledge and take the ramp down, then drop down onto the conveyor belts. Run against them to the cargo lifts. When a small crate is brought down, jump onto the lift and ride it to the top. Run against the next conveyor belts and run down the slope. Turn around and drop down into the next area.

Go left and through the door to a storage area. Jump down to the floor and follow the deactivated conveyor system to the end.

Secret Area 4/8: Jump across from the ledge to the tops of the crates to the left. Alternatively, drop to the floor and immediately turn left to find a place to climb them. Leap across the gap to the other side.

Drop off of the conveyor belt to the floor to the left. Wait for the lift to come down and ride it to the top.

Secret Area 5/8: While the lift is going either up or down, carefully step off and onto the narrow ledge. Follow it and step up onto the wider ledge.

Secret Area 6/8: From the top of the first lift, jump onto the coveyor belt and across to the next lift. Ride it up to the ledge and jump off. The secret area will trigger on the further of the two ledges.

Secret Area 7/8: Backtrack to the previous ledge, then look down and wait for a cargo crate to pass underneath. Land on it, turn around, and jump up into the room.

Ride the second lift back up to the top and continue through the room. Head left up the ramp and cross the bridge at the far end of the roof.

Secret Area 8/8: At the top of the ramp, turn around and carefully go along the top of the wall to the end, then jump across into the cubbyhole. The Super Shield from here will give you a bit of an edge in the next area.

Emerge onto the next rooftop and clear out all the Gran to end the level.
Level 3: The Return Home to Sulon

Find Weegee, the old family droid, in your father's home. He can decode the data disk that you reclaimed from 8t88. Watch out for scavenging Tuskens.

Mission Objective: Find your way into your father's home to look for Weegee, the family droid.

Secret Area 1/8: Once the level starts, immediately turn to the right and head up the slope. Shoot the darker section of wall to reveal the secret area.

Secret Area 2/8: There is a section of moss-covered rock wall along the left side of the house that is obviously different from the rest. Shoot it to blow it open.

Kyle begins this level outside of his father's home. Go around to the left side of the house and shoot out the middle window. Alternatively, the window can be activated and pushed out, but where's the fun in that?

Mission Objective: Go through the house, around back and through your father's natural power generator.

Exit the bedroom into the living room and take the door on the opposite end to enter the foyer. Step onto the wooden beam to fall to the floor below.

Secret Area 3/8:This secret area is in the hallway, after it turns to the right. The safest way to access it is to ricochet a thermal detonator off the left-hand wall.

Secret Area 4/8: At the far end of the walkway, opposite the switch door, is a destructible wall.

Continue up the stairs and through the door. Go left and through the next door, into the garage. From the door, run straight and jump over the boxes to get the red key. Leave the garage and go up the second set of stairs to enter the kitchen.

The kitchen leads to the dining room. There is another door just to the right of the one you came through that leads to a bar. Go through the bar and into the courtyard. Turn right and hit the switch to open the door.

Go up the stairs to the top and into the hallway.

Secret Area 5/8: There are two cutouts in the wall to the left that contain shield recharges. The second of these walls will slide open when shot.

Cross the bridge in the garage to the next hallway. Climb the stairs and go through the double doors on the left to pick up the yellow wrench. Leave the room, head towards the outdoor area, and go through the second-to-last door. Head down the slopes into the underground bar to find the blue wrench. Leave the bar and continue to the edge, then drop down onto the dirt mound.

The yellow and blue wrenches

Secret Area 6/8: Jump into the water and swim to the far hallway. Halfway up the ramps is the secret area (a Tusken will be there).

Swim over to the far side of the lake to the window pictured, then crouch to go underwater; there is a pipe with a plug sitting off to the side. Swim down and through the pipe, then surface in the control room. Use the wrenches to manipulate the metal dividers and block off half of the lake.

Swim back through the pipe and jump up onto the bank, then up onto the divider. Drop onto the other side and go through the doorway, up the ramps, and around to the pools of battery acid.

Step onto the sloped dirt ledge immediately to the right and follow it down into a divet. From the bottom-most point, fall onto the top of the metal wall.

Secret Area 7/8: This secret area is located at the bottom of the battery acid pool, closest to you. Drop off of the wall to the left and swim to the bottom to find the cubbyhole in the corner.

Swim to the right-hand side of the pool and jump up onto the bank. Jump up onto the ledge and leap across to the top of the next wall. Jump from here to the far bank, then climb up onto the wall and run across it to the other end of the pool. Make your way to the ledge, go up the ramp, and enter the power generator.

Mission Objective: Locate your father's workshop.

Secret Area 8/8: About halfway through the generator, there will be a narrow passageway in the right-hand wall that curls around.

Make your way through the generator and drop into the workshop to end the level.
Level 4: The Jedi's Lightsaber

Use the aqueducts and irrigation channels behind the house to make your way to the rendezvous point with Jan.

Mission Objective: Use the aqueducts and irrigation channels behind the house to make your way to the water purification plant.

Locate the grate in the floor and slash it; drop down into the irrigation channel below. Slash the grate up ahead and continue to the end, then fall into the main channel. Continue following the channel until you come upon a large door. Activate the switch to open it, then walk up the slope to the left and jump up out of the channel. Make your way to the channel with water in it.

Secret Area 1/6: Jump into the water and swim along the current to a grate. Cut it to gain access to the secret area.

Swim against the current up into the aqueduct. Follow the water flow and jump out onto the left-hand slope. Work your way to the metal grid and crouch to get through. Follow the empty ditch to the neighboring channel to the left. Jump into the water and let it carry you into the next area. Cut the grate on the way to continue.

As soon as possible, swim to either the left or right bank and get out of the water, then jump onto the catwalk.

Secret Area 2/6: When the path bifurcates, take the right-hand path to the end. Jump into the water, then jump out before you tumble down the waterfall, into the open area across the way. Turn around and jump up one of the sides and up into the secret area.

Take the left-hand path and hop over to the left-hand bank. Jump up onto the nearest bank of the small ditch. Cross over to the right-hand bank and follow it to the end, then look down. Drop into the ditch below to avoid taking damage.

Secret Area 3/6: Instead of riding the water flow, jump out of the ditch at the earliest opportunity; it doesn't matter which side. Jump down to the concrete floor beneath the ditch. Run along the down-sloping floor to the end of the area and drop into the small ditch, then go left into the culvert.

Secret Area 4/6: Drop to the ledge below the culvert and enter the room up ahead.

Exit the secret area and follow the ledge to the empty water tank. Drop into the small ditch and then into the empty tank. Jump through the drain in the opposite wall and follow the ditch to the end, where it connects to the metal structure pictured. From the metal beam, jump up onto the left-hand sloped ledge and follow it to the beam up ahead. Bypass the vertical pylon, step back onto the sloped ledge, and go through the doorway at the end.

From here, follow the left-hand ledge to the central horizontal beam, then cross it to the other side. Turn to the left and follow the ledge to the doorway at the end.

This is the final section. Stay on the ledge and cross the horizontal beam, then take the right-hand ledge to the end. Get onto the far horizontal beam and fall into the water. The ditch will drop and curve left.

Mission Objective: Find the passage to the river dam.

Secret Area 5/6: Jump out of the ditch and up onto the left-hand bank. Follow the slope down and walk along the edge of the ditch, then drop down into the room below.

Jump back into the water and let it carry you into the purification plant. Swim along the surface of the water while looking down in order to locate the giant square hole in the wall. Swim down through the hole and all the way to the bottom, while circling left around the central structure to the next opening. From there, swim directly up into the plant, surface, and jump out of the water.

Hit the switch to raise the water level, then go back out the way you came. Jump up against the current and up onto the bank. Follow the ditch straight ahead and ride the current to the end. Swim to the bank on the right-hand side and jump up. Follow the path to an elevator and ride it up.

Once there, continue along the path until it branches off to the right, then take the elevator down. Go through the room and to the edge, overlooking the stagnant water channel. Clear out the water cycs (the Bowcaster is most effective for that) and jump into the water.

Secret Area 6/6: There's a pipe at roughly the halfway point along the channel, in the right-hand wall. Swim through it and surface in the room at the end.

Jump out of the water onto the left-hand bank at the very end and walk up the slope to another ditch. Follow it until it emerges outside. Jump up onto one of the sides of the ditch and fall into the water below, then head up the far slope and go through the door.

Note: Don't get too close to the sequencer charges; they can be set off from a safe distance with thermal detonators.

Mission Objective: Beyond the dam is your rendezvous point with Jan.

Ride the elevator to the top and locate the switch on the wall, then ride back down the elevator and go through the now-open door to wait for Jan.
Level 5: Barons Hed - The Fallen City

Follow the canal into the besieged city of Barons Hed. Once inside, find a way into the ruins that separate the terrorized populace from Jerec's new palace tower.

Mission Objective: Follow the canal into the besieged city of Barons Hed.

Secret Area 1/6: Swim to the middle of the basin and work your way into the supply pipe. Swim down to the cubbyhole.

Follow the bank to the main canal and stay on the right. Follow the bank against the current to the doorway. Follow the corridor to the next doorway and continue along the sidewalk to the bridge. Cross it and enter the room.

Go up the far slope and down the hallway, then onto the wooden ledge. Follow it to the end and enter the room on the left. Follow the slope down into the city.

Mission Objective: Jerec's palace is heavily guarded and blocked off by high walls. Find your way inside those barriers.

Enter the house up ahead to get into the next area.

Secret Area 2/6: Go up the stairs and into the room on the left. Blow open the crumbling wall with a detonator, then throw another into the same area to blow open a portion of the ceiling.

Cross over into the dining room and then into the hallway. Go down the stairs and follow the path straight ahead to the bridge leading over the canal. Cross it and go through any of the passageways into the marketplace.

Secret Area 3/6: Go around the right side of the main market building to the one pictured and go inside. Blow open the wall.

Turn right from the secret-area building, then make your way into the plaza and take out all the enemies attacking the civilians.

Secret Area 4/6: There's a broken door laying up against a wall. Hit the activate key to bring it down.

Head to the right and around to the ramp. Jump up onto the wall and then to the top. Jump around the corner of the building to the awning and save the people from getting pummeled to death. Jump through the window and go through the building, and then cross the bridge and follow the walkway to the end.

Secret Area 5/6: Head up into the restaurant (the building just ahead of the awning encircling the plaza). Push your way past all the people and blow open the wall on the left-hand side of the stage.

Jump up onto the wall and up again onto the top of the pillars. Circumvent the plaza and drop down onto the ledge on the far end.

Secret 6/6: Head down the ramp and to the collapsed bridge. Use Force Speed to gain enough momentum to jump up into the room above.

Head back to the top of the ramp and go through the door. Make your way through the abandoned home and jump up onto the top of the wall. Follow it to the end and drop down on the other side.
Level 6: Into the Dark Palace

Work your way to the heavily fortified palace walls. Find a way past the Imperial garrison and into the tower.

Mission Objective: Find a route through the ruins to the palace tower.

Note: The ruins are defended by probe droids and sequencer charges. Exercise caution.

Head through the building just ahead; continue on to the stone path. Head around to the right and down the stairs to the next building. Go through and up the far stairway. Shoot open the jammed door to continue.

Work your way through and exit to the top of the rubble. Squeeze down the corridor to the collapsed building. Crouch to maneuver under the fallen beam, then jump to clear the woodwork and fall through a hole in the floor. Continue to the flooded staircase and swim down into the lower part of the building.

Secret Area 1/1: Turn left at the stairway and swim into the room on the right. Swim up into the hole in the ceiling.

Continue straight ahead until the building exits into a waterway. Swim down through the hole into the channel and turn left. Climb out of the water and follow the channel, then jump onto the right-hand bank.

Head up the staircase and across the bridge, then continue on to the elevator. Ride it to the top and jump off to the left, into the probe droid docking area. Run through to the hallway at the opposite end and go through the door to the palace plaza. Slide down the sloped wall and into the plaza itself.

Mission Objective: Gain entry into the tower via the upper plaza deck.

It is possible to go either left or right from here; there's no right or wrong way to go. The basic goal at this point is to get to the opposite end of where you're at right now, so go forth and conquer. The world is your oyster.

Keep an eye out for patrolling AT-STs and avoid them by hiding under the bridges. Also watch out for turrets; they have massive range and dead-on accuracy. The best way to take them out while simultaneously hiding from the AT-STs is to use the lightsaber to reflect their shots back at them.

AT-STs are most efficiently taken out by large-scale explosions, so keep an eye out for ways to disable them.

The goal landmark is the retracted bridge. There are two halves, controlled by switches located in control rooms opposite one another. The best strategy is to first clear out all the enemies, then hit one switch. Hold the run key and tear like heck to the other switch. Activate the second switch and activate Force Speed to run up into the building and across the now-extended bridge to the upper plaza deck. The bridge will only remain extended for a very short period of time, so you'll have to be quick.

From the upper plaza deck, turn right and run along the deck to the far bridge. It is also possible to turn left and use Force Speed to jump across retracted bridges. There are two areas where the deck runs very close to the building, but the one that requires the lesser amount of travel and AT-ST confrontations is the one concealed by the palace's shadow. Take a running leap from the edge of the deck and land in the turret alcove.

Mission Objective: Find a way into the control room above the inner door.

Turn right and head down the hallway, then take a left at the next hallway. Continue through the room, to the end of the hallway, and up the slope. Go through the room and turn left onto the ledge.

Hit the switch on the wall to lower the outer bulkhead door, then run across the top of it to the other ledge. Hit that switch to lower the middle bulkhead door. Jump down and crawl under one of the tabs to avoid getting squashed between the door and the ceiling, and ride it to the top. While holding the crouch key, scamper out from under the tab and around the corner, or else the door lock will crush you. Slash the grate to get into the air duct, then slash the grate on the other end to end up in the control room.

Destroy the grate in the floor and hit the switch to lower the innermost bulkhead door. Ride it down and enter the palace. Fight your way across the room, then call the elevator and board it to finish the level.
Level 7: Yun - The Dark Youth

Yun is eager to engage his first battle with the Light side. A Jedi must come across many challenges. This is to be the first of many.

Mission Objective: Exercise the Force and defeat Yun. This is the test of a true Jedi.

Yun is the first of the Seven Dark Jedi that Kyle will encounter, and is fairly easy to defeat. As with shots fired, Kyle will block lightsaber attacks automatically. Yun is susceptible to the alternate attack.

Force Usage and Strategy

Yun uses light powers; more specifically, he makes frequent use of Force Blinding and Persuasion. When he uses Blinding, simply look for his lightsaber blade. When he uses Persuasion, look for a series of sparkles. Note that while Yun is using Persuasion, it is impossible to block his attacks, so avoid him until it wears off. The table and chair in the middle of the ballroom can be destroyed for added fun.

Force Blinding, Force Persuasion

Open the two wall panels for shields and health packs if needed.

Level 8: Palace Escape

Now that your father's map is destroyed, 8t88's memory unit is your only hope of finding the Valley of the Jedi. Escape from the ballroom and fight your way through the towers to 8t88's shuttle.

Mission Objective: Escape from the ballroom to the palace rooftop.

Secret Area 1/5: Make your way to the elevator and ride it to the floor below. The secret area is in the back left-hand corner of the room.

In order to access the roof, the circuit board controlling the elevator must be destroyed. It is located in the elevator shaft behind a grate. Cut the grate and then cut the circuit board with the lightsaber. The elevator will now go up to the roof.

Mission Objective: Use the air ducts to gain entrance back into the tower and track down 8t88.

Once on the roof, jump out of the trench and get away from the trench as quickly as possible; a TIE bomber will begin bombing the roof, starting with a run down the trench. Keep an eye out for turrets. Quickly run toward the lowest part of the wall (across the way from the trench) and Force Jump to the top.

This next part is a little difficult. In order to get back inside the building, Kyle needs to get inside the air ducts. To the left of the roof is a concrete grid over the top of a very long, slanted shaft; the grid divides it into quadrants. Carefully walk along the grid to the bottom and locate one of the openings to the air ducts; there’s one on either side. To get inside the air duct, line up with the center of the opening and slowly back up and over the edge to allow yourself to fall into the shaft, then hold the forward key to stick the landing. Continue forward and drop down into the air duct.

Secret Area 2/5: There is a sentry droid hovering in the air duct that will begin shooting once you drop down. Destroy it and it will explode, revealing the secret area in the floor of the duct. If—for whatever reason—the sentry droid is too far away from it to blow it open, simply throw a thermal detonator. The duct is divided into individual panels, and the secret area is contained underneath the fourth panel.

Secret Area 3/5: Continue along the air duct and round the corner, making your way to the opening in the ceiling. About halfway between the corner and the opening is the third secret area, behind a differently-colored panel in the left wall.

Mission Objective: Find 8t88's shuttle by using the palace ventilation system to cross to the far tower.

At the end of the air duct is the opening in the ceiling to the interior of the palace. Drop through and continue through the door up ahead.

Hint: The officer will order someone to “call for reinforcements,” even if everyone is dead, including the officer. It is possible to run through the door before it closes, in which case reinforcements will not show up.

Round the corner and head down the ramp, then down the hallway to the elevator. It is not necessary to ride the elevator unless you want to have a party with the Imperials’ pet Kell Dragon. In order to progress through the level, jump on top of the small crate in the elevator and up through the hole in the ceiling. From there, look down and to the right, then drop onto the ledge. Cut the grate and continue through the tunnel to the huge shaft. Continue along the rafter until it becomes safe to drop down to the second layer of rafters. Once down on the lower layer, cross over the shaft and through the next tunnel.

Good timing is required for this next part. There are two metal cubes traveling up and down at different timing intervals, separated by a network of supports. The basic idea is to get from one cube to the other, and then to jump into the garbage chute down below. Once in the chute, stand on the metal door in the floor, and it will open. You will then fall into the next area.

Jump up onto the left-hand bank of the chute and onto the floor. There is a corridor up ahead and to the left that leads to another air venting system. The vent nearest you cycles air, and the basic idea is to wait until the airflow is high enough to push you across to the next building.

Secret Area 4/5: This secret area is contained within the nearest air vent. When the airflow has reduced enough to allow access, run into the vent and drop down into it. Look up to find the cubbyhole in the wall.

Secret Area 5/5: After using the air vent to cross over to the next building, jump out of the next vent and onto the ledge to the right. Walk along the ledge and round the corner, then continue to the end of the next ledge and slash the grate in the wall. Be careful when nearing the corner; the wind is strong enough to push you off the ledge.

Jump up behind the air vent and continue on to the next area. Carefully drop down from ledge to ledge to get to the floor below. Once down, crouch to get through the doorway and look for the elevator to the left of it.

Ride the elevator to the top and proceed through the hallway. Round the corner to emerge at the shuttle hangar. Once you step onto the metal roof, it will begin to open up. Quickly make your way across to the far platform to end the level.
Level 9: Fuel Station Launch, part 1

The cargo ship is about to debark for the Valley of the Jedi with 8t88 on board. Sneak onto the ship through the refueling pipes on the far side of the fuel station.

Mission Objective: Get off the rooftops and into the fueling station.

Walk towards the Ugnaught and to the left to find a flight of stairs. Once at the top, drop onto the ledge and crouch to squeeze under the pipe.

Secret Area 1/10: Once beyond the pipe, walk along the ledge to the right.

Drop down onto the floor and locate the door that leads into the fuel station. It is locked, so jump over the large pipe. If your Force Jump isn’t developed enough to clear the pipe, there is a tight space between the pipe and the wall (on the right-hand side) that will lead to the next area.

Go through the doorway and fall to the floor below. Go up the ramps into the building and pick up the yellow key. Backtrack to the door and go inside the fuel station.

Mission Objective: Once inside, drain the primary fuel tank and pass through it.

This section of the level is structured like a corkscrew. The first order of business inside the station is to drain the primary fuel tank. Proceed to the far end of the ledge and hit the switch to move the fuel into the secondary fuel tank. Once that’s over and done with, the very most basic goal is to find a wrench and gain entry to the primary fuel tank.

Secret Area 2/10: After hitting the switch to drain the fuel, backtrack and work your way to the right and down the ramp to a room. Before entering the room, jump up onto the ledge above.

Secret Area 3/10: Once inside the room, go forward and to the right to the area with the fuel distribution schematic. To the left will be a very poorly-lit elevator shaft. Use the switch to call the elevator, then ride it to the floor below. Once you exit the elevator, jump up to the left to get into the cubbyhole.

Exit this room and go down the ramp. There should be two Stormtroopers on the ledge up ahead. Jump up onto it to get into the next room, and locate the small door in the far wall. Hold the crouch key to gain access to the next area.

Secret Area 4/10: Immediately after proceeding through the door, go into the area to the right and jump up into the cubbyhole.

Crawl to the end of the room and drop down to the right, to the area below. Force Jump up from here to access the area above. The wrench will be to the left, at the end. Grab it and backtrack to the area from which you jumped up, crawl out onto the ledge, and drop down to the floor below.

Directly ahead is a ledge encircling the primary fuel tank. At this point, it is safe to simply fall down to it. Locate the wrench socket and activate it to open the door to the tank.

Note: In the pipes, the first door/valve will need to be closed before the second will open.

Once inside the tank, cross the bridge and exit through the next door. Jump across to the platform and take the elevator.

Level 9: Fuel Station Launch, part 2
Mission Objective: Shut down the fuel flow to empty out the pipes.

Secret Area 5/10: The elevator will go down first, by default. Stay on it to ride it up to the room above the platform from which you exited the fuel tank. The room itself is the first secret area; the other two are cubbyholes in the fuel drum storage room beyond.

Secret Area 6/10: Proceed to the room with the fuel drums. Jump up to the very top of the highest drum and go into the cubbyhole.

Secret Area 7/10: To gain access to this secret area, blow up the fuel drums and then drop back down to the floor. There is a cubbyhole in the wall.

Take the elevator down and go through the door at the end of the room. Locate the switch on the wall and activate it to drop the metal ramps down. Take the ramp down and onto the center pipe. There are turrets on the far end; shoot them safely from a distance with the concussion rifle or rail detonator and then cross to the opposite end of the room.

Secret Area 8/10: After making your way to the far end, jump up onto the center pipe’s wall connector. Travel along the ledge to the right, jumping across the gap to the next connector. Continue over the top of the right-hand pipe and down. There is a cubbyhole to the left, containing a Power Boost.

Secret Area 9/10: If you destroyed the turrets from afar, there will be a hole blown open in one of the panels in the left-hand wall of the alcove. Otherwise, there will be a panel that looks different than the others.

Go into the room and locate the series of switches on the wall; there will be a schematic of the fuel pipe above them. Throw each switch to empty the pipe (in order of largest to smallest) and take the elevator down when all three sections have been emptied.

Hit the switch on the far wall to open the valve and gain access to the fuel pipe.

Mission Objective: Sneak through the fuel pipes to the reservoir under the cargo ship.

This part of the level is a continuous path of fuel pipes; it is impossible to get lost. The basic thing to keep in mind is that there is leftover fuel in the majority of the pipes, which will erupt in a series of explosions if any kind of bullet hits it. To make matters potentially worse, there are several seeker drones. They are best taken care of with the repeater, since it fires the quickest and is very accurate. Also, the fuel is hot and will burn Kyle if he stays in it (only applies to swimming).

The first major landmark is the smaller pipes side by side. From here, choose either the left or the right pipe; they both end up in the same place and will lead to the next landmark: the smaller pipes situated in a vertical fashion. Jump up into the higher pipe and run along it to find a ledge with power-ups if needed. From the ledge, drop down into the fuel far below, then jump out and slide down the pipe to the next area. Alternatively, backtrack to the bottom pipe. Swim across the fuel pipe up ahead and jump out, then continue sliding and dropping through pipes. The next area is a fuel reservoir. Cut the metal door with the lightsaber to fall through the pipe and into the next part of the station.

Secret Area 10/10: Kyle falls down the pipe and ends up in something of a ditch (pictured). A bit ahead and up above the left-hand bank is a small cubbyhole.

Climb over the right-hand bank of the ditch and go through the doorway. There is a stairway leading up into the station. Be careful not to fall into the fuel river below. Once inside the station, make your way to the door and into the next area. Continue on to the room with the large fuel tank and an elevator.

Ride the elevator to the top and you will be in a room with two fuel tanks that are connected by a series of small metal beams. Go up the sloped floor and locate the elevator. If you’re in need of ammo and shields, jump up onto the support beams and make your way to the other side of the room. Although this isn’t a formal secret area, it contains energy cells and an armor vest.

Ride the elevator to the top; it’ll be a long ride with one wall opening up to a view of the Sulon Star. Once it reaches the top, exit the elevator and head up the slope to the right, then snake back around to the doorway. Go up the stairs and get onto the top of the fuel pipe. Run along the pipe to the very end and drop off of it to the left.

Crouch to go through to the ledge above the pipe fueling the cargo ship and drop down onto it. Run to the end and jump to the ledge of the ship to end the level.
Level 10: 8t88's Reward

The ship is underway and 8t88 is somewhere on board. You must find him.

Mission Objective: Open the topside cargo doors and jump into the ship.

Run up the slope and down again to the topside docking area. Cross over the closed metal doors and enter the control room. Climb the stairs and hit the switch beneath the window to open the topside cargo doors.

Secret Area 1/6: This secret area is behind the stairway in the control room.

Mission Objective: Shut down the venting fan and follow the main ducts to the reactor core.

Drop down into the newly-opened area and shoot the circuits to cut power to the doors. Without power feeding them, they will open. Since the ship is basically symmetrical, it’s not possible to get lost. As such, you can go through either door and end up in the same place; one door leads to a couple ramps and the other leads to a ledge overlooking the room. The next room opens to a bridge with the lights flashing on and off. Proceed through the door to the next area, then drop off the edge to the walkway below and finally to the floor. Head through the large door on the other end of the room.

Go through the door to the left and into another control room to find the red key.

Secret Area 2/6: Backtrack to the previous room and take an elevator to the floor below. There is a large entrance to the storage area. Enter the area and jump on top of the cargo crate in the right-hand corner, then jump up into the secret area.

Cross to the other side of the control room (where the red key was) and go through the doors to enter a large room with ledges and catwalks. Drop carefully down to the lowest catwalk and jump across to the ledge. Run to the end of the left-hand ledge and enter another control room.

Locate the switch on the wall; it disables an energy barrier leading to the next control room, which is identical to the previous one. Head up the first ramp and go through to the next room and pick up the blue key. There is another switch on the wall that needs to be turned off. Take the ramps all the way to the top and make your way around to the narrow door pictured. Go through the room and through the next one to an elevator.

BUG ALERT: There is an officer in the hallway below whose AI can be triggered by the descending elevator, and he will situate himself at the bottom of the shaft. When the elevator descends, the officer will therefore get crushed by it, which will then cause Kyle to phase through the elevator and join him in an elevator-induced death. It is possible to step onto and back off the elevator to send it down, in case the officer is in the shaft. If the elevator arrives and returns unhindered, it isn't necessarily safe to ride, but what's life without risks? Please save your game before continuing, just in case.

At the bottom of the elevator and through the door is a room containing a venting fan. Shoot both of the power circuits (identical to the ones that powered the doors at the beginning of the level) to shut it down and enter the vents.

Secret Area 3/6: Make your way to the left frame of the fan; the secret area is a small room at the end.

Once inside the vents, head down the slope to the right and then up again. There will be a distinctive door in the right-hand wall that leads to the reactor core.

Secret Areas 4/6 and 5/6: Go past the door that leads to the reactor core. Continue down the slope and then up the next one. One secret area is to the right (contains health packs) and the second is straight ahead (contains bacta tanks).

Mission Objective: Interrupt the reactor flow and take the lower vents into the shuttle bay.

Once inside the reactor core, run around to the door on the opposite end, go inside, and take the elevator. There are two switches on the wall on either side of the window. Hit either one to temporarily shut off the reactor core. Go back out into the core and drop down into it. There are walls in each of the four compass directions; one of them contains a grate. Destroy it and go into the air vent.

Secret Area 6/6: In the left wall of the air vent is a small corridor; Force Speed is needed to access it due to the strength of the airflow. At the end of the corridor is a panel on the ceiling. Cut it with the lightsaber or activate it to open it and access the room above.

Jump out at the end of the air vent to gain access to the shuttle hangar. Open the door at the far end of the hangar to reach 8t88.

Level 11: The Brothers of the Sith

Gorc and Pic are the deadly twins of the Force. You must defeat them and retrieve 8t88's head.

Mission Objective: Defeat the deadly Gorc and Pic.

This battle is difficult, not because Gorc and Pic are tough, but because they fight as a duo. They must be defeated before the player can recover 8t88's head.

Force Usage and Strategy

Gorc

Gorc uses dark powers, which only include Throw and Grip. He frequently uses Throw to push the player away from him, but will only use Grip from a distance. He is relatively easy to defeat and is not weak to any particular attacks.

Pic

Pic uses Force Persuasion, which is the only power he knows. By this point in the game, the player will have had the opportunity to develop Force Sight, which will allow the player to see Pic while he is using Persuasion.

Pic is relatively weak to any type of attack. It is important to remember that Pic is small, so the player will need to look down while attacking or else the attacks will go clear over his head.

Mission Objective: Retrieve 8t88's head.

Pick up 8t88's head to end the level.
Level 12: Escape With the Map

Work your way back topside to meet Jan and the Crow. An exhaust venting port should lead to the outer hull of the cargo ship.

Mission Objective: Enter the main cargo hold.

Exit the hangar through one of the large diagonal doors. Continue through the next couple areas to the huge door that opens up into the cargo storage area. Go through the door to the left and down the ramp ways, and through the next few doors to the elevator; take the elevator down into the main cargo hold.

Secret Area 1/4: Step off of the elevator and continue forward, around the left side of the crate ahead. Turn right and run behind the crate until you reach the secret area to the left.

Proceed to the conveyor belt and hit the switch to disable the energy barrier, then jump on top of a passing crate and ride it into the magnetized hold.

Secret Area 2/4: Stay on the crate until it rounds the first corner (in the back of the hold); jump off and into the cubbyhole.

Secret Area 3/4: Jump onto the lowest magnetically-suspended crate, then from there to the higher one to the diagonal right. Jump from the crate to the ledge ahead. The back wall of the crate can be destroyed.

Secret Area 4/4: Backtrack to the very top crates and run along them in the opposite direction of the catwalk until you see a ledge below. Look for an armor vest.

Mission Objective: Manipulate the catwalks around the exhaust venting port to work your way topside.

Make your way onto the catwalk and enter the control room to find the blue key. Exit the room and jump onto the left-hand ledge with the crate sitting on it and go through the door. Once inside, take the circular elevator in the center of the room to the floor above.

Pick up the yellow key off of the fallen officer and locate the lift trimmed by white lights. The lifts are a bit difficult to distinguish, and look like dark metal with slats in it. Ride the lift to the first stop and pick up the red key, then return to it before it leaves. Ride it all the way to the top and pick up the green key. Run across to the next shaft and call the lift, and then ride it down until it stops.

There is a switch on the wall; hit it to bring the catwalk over. Open the door and run across to the next room, then locate the next switch. Continue activating switches and running across catwalks until you make your way to the top of the venting port. Ride the final lift up and snake around the ramps, and over the small wedge and down the next set of ramps. Across the bridge and around the ramp way is a door leading to the shell of the venting port.

Mission Objective: Return to the main deck and look for the Crow.

Climb the slope to the circular walkway above and locate the small bridge leading to the door. Go through it and ride the elevator down, then exit the door ahead and drop back down onto the topside landing bay to end the level.
Level 13: The Lost Planet of the Jedi

The Imperials have already established an outpost to the entrance to the Valley. Use the intricate canyons and river ways to disarm the fortifications and find a way inside.

Mission Objective: Find and destroy all of the circuits powering the first magnetic shield.

Locate the river and run along the banks to the first bunker (at the end of the river); watch for land mines.

Secret Area 1/7: There is a natural bridge not far from the starting point of the river that is hollowed out. Jump up inside (landing on the small shelf isn’t necessary to trigger its discovery).

The magnetic shield guarding the bunker is powered by four circuits that need to be cut in order for it to be disabled; they can only be destroyed with the lightsaber. The order in which they are destroyed doesn’t matter, and the locations are as follows:

Circuit #1: Look in the small room near the magnetic shield, guarded by two Stormtroopers.

Circuit #2: To the right of the magnetic shield is a slope. Run up and cross the metal bridge, then enter the room to the right.

Circuit #3: From Circuit #2, hit the switch to go through the door, then head all the way up the slope and continue straight ahead.

Circuit #4: On the other side of the metal bridge is a slope leading up into an area with some storage crates. At the top of the slope and off to the left, there is a door with a grate above it; destroy the grate and drop down inside the building. Continue across the bridge, ride the lift, and turn around.

Secret Area 2/7: There is an alcove behind the turret on the left-hand side.

Secret Area 3/7: In the building containing the circuit is an area to the right of the lift (lower floor). The secret area is under one of the fuel drums.

Upon destroying the fourth circuit, the magnetic shield will disable.

Mission Objective: Locate the first bunker that guards the magnetic field.

Make your way back to the now-deactivated magnetic shield and pass through it.

Mission Objective: Sneak past the second magnetic shield and find the main cargo lift to the base of the Valley Tower.

Force Jump from the water into the small doorway high above, then continue to the end of the path and carefully drop down to a safe area below.

Secret Area 4/7: There is a slope to the left of the deep pit with an alcove in the left-hand wall. Force Speed is needed to access it.

Circumvent the pit and continue ahead to the river.

Secret Area 5/7: Jump in the river and swim against the current to the waterfall. Go underwater and locate the tunnel in the left-hand bank.

The best way to infiltrate the second magnetic shield while remaining undetected is to swim almost to the end of the river and swim through the small opening underwater. This leads to a lake with an upward-sloping bank.

Secret Area: 6/7: There is a large alcove in the far wall, beneath the sloped path.

At the top of the sloped path is a small cargo area. Around the right-hand wall is an elevator; ride it down to the floor below.

Secret Area 7/7: There is a small cubbyhole at the top of the two crates directly across from the elevator.

Send the elevator back up and get off, then destroy the grates beneath it and drop down into the tunnels. Slash the grate and continue through the tunnel and over the pipe, crossing the river.

Enter either tunnel and continue to the end. Slash the grate, jump up into the room, and locate the door switch in the control area next to the magnetic shield. Run through the large, slanted door and call the elevator. In the room above, locate the switch and board the cargo lift to end the level.
Level 14: Maw - The Revenge

Maw has survived his unfortunate battle with Rahn and hungers for blood. Destroy him or perish.

Mission Objective: Destroy Maw or perish.

Maw is fairly simple to defeat. He occasionally uses Force Throw but it is woefully inaccurate. During battle, he consistently uses a spin attack. Also, the fact that he floats can make it difficult to block his attacks, but this can be done most easily by slightly backing up as he's swinging to ensure that Kyle blocks.

The battle area is quite large in comparison to the others, and Maw’s actual defeat requires attacking him until he retreats, and then chasing him down. He is first encountered outside the cargo lift, again in the small station, and finally on the landing pad.

The landing pad contains some power-ups for both health and Force energy.
Level 15: The Falling Ship, route 1 (easy/medium difficulty)

The cargo ship's anti-gravity systems are failing. Race to the captured Moldy Crow in the landing bay before the ship crashes into the canyon floor below.

This level is extremely disorienting, mainly due to the fact that the falling cargo ship is canted to a diagonal. It is the only timed level in the entire game, as well as the only level that contains actual dead-ends and areas the player can’t get out of. There are three different paths through the cargo ship to the landing bay, which will need to be taken depending on the player’s difficulty level. Easy and medium difficulty allow for enough time for the player to make it to the captured Moldy Crow regardless of the path taken; hard difficulty, however, requires the player to locate the control room and fire off the port and starboard engines to bide more time. Due to the nature of this level, the routes are explained via screenshots and wording is kept to a minimum.

Secret Area 1/1: The first and only secret area in this level is in the room Kyle starts in. Walk up the slope on the left-hand side, jump up into the small tunnel, and slash the grate.

Route 1: hole in the floor

In the same room as the secret area, there are cutouts in the floor through which Kyle can fall. There are several flashing arrows on the walls that are either green, yellow, or red. As Kyle gets closer to the landing bay, the arrows will be red, but regardless of color, they all point in the direction Kyle needs to go.

Level 15: The Falling Ship, route 2 (medium difficulty)
Route 2: through the secret area

There is another grate at the opposite end of the secret area that leads to very wide-open parts of the ship and long falls. This route deals the most damage of the three but is the fastest and if followed correctly, it guarantees Kyle will end up in front of the door that leads to the landing bay controls.

Level 15: The Falling Ship, route 3 (hard difficulty)
Route 3: the control room

If the player is playing on hard difficulty, this route is mandatory as there is not enough time to take the previous route, regardless of how skilled the player is. This route leads to the control room that contains the port and starboard engine controls, which grants an extra minute of time.

Level 15: The Falling Ship, universal route (all difficulties)
Universal route

At a point near the end of the level, the three routes will all converge. The universal route consists of the two paths (left or right) that Kyle can take to access the landing bay controls and the catwalk to the captured ship. At this point in the level, GO RIGHT FIRST. This will ensure that the player will first lower the captured ship and unlock the landing trail and not have to backtrack later. Route #2 will dump Kyle in front of the door that can be found along the right-hand path, so although Route #2 terminates at a point somewhat farther along, it needs to be followed to guarantee maximum time.

Level 16: Sariss - Jedi Battleground

Both the Valley of the Jedi and Jan are in danger. You must defeat Sariss so you can find the Valley. The freedom of the galaxy depends on it.

Mission Objective: Defeat Sariss so you can find another route into the Valley.

Sariss is the first of the Seven Dark Jedi to use an advanced dark power. Although Gorc used Force Grip, it was relatively weak. Sariss will use Deadly Sight if the player gets far enough away from her.

Force Usage and Strategy

Because Deadly Sight continually burns the player, it is essential to break it up. Thankfully, hiding behind a large enough barrier or escaping the power’s radius will interrupt the power, so a good place to go in this event is the fallen Sulon Star. It is very difficult to escape the power’s attack radius since the battle area is fairly small. Also, the Sulon Star contains debris the player can use if they developed Force Throw.

If Kyle remained completely true to the Light Side, Force Protection will be unlocked. This power is incredibly useful against Sariss, since her use of Deadly Sight will somewhat force the player into engaging in close combat. Make use of the power surge to keep Protection going as often as possible; Kyle will take absolutely no damage while it is active.

Note: If the player chose the Dark Side earlier, they will fight Yun a second time.
Level 17: Valley Tower Ascent

The impact of the cargo ship has stripped away the main cargo lift to the top of the Valley Tower. By activating the internal cargo system, it should provide an alternative route.

Mission Objective: Activate the internal cargo conveying system.

Once the elevator reaches the top, make your way into the small control room ahead and hit the switch to open the door. Go through it and to the elevator on the far side of the ATAT. Ride it up and walk along the ledge to the door at the end.

The hallway will open to a larger room with a lift to the right and a control room to the left, up a set of ramps. Enter the control room and disable the energy field or else it won't be possible to board the lift. Board the lift and ride it down one stop.

Go through the grated crawlspace to the left and emerge onto a ledge. The area will have a yellow-green tint to it. Fall into the shaft and down to the bottom, at which point you will bob on an air current. Hold the forward key to step onto the ledge, and hit the switch on the wall to activate the cargo system.

Mission Objective: Exhaust from Imperial mining operations is discharged from several openings in the mountain. Find a vent near the main exhaust port.

Ride the cargo back up to the top ledge, then ride the lift to the top, past the area you first entered.

Secret Area 1/6: Jump up to the catwalk and enter the room directly across from the elevator. Blow up the fuel containers to access the secret area.

Secret Area 2/6: Follow the cargo into the air lift and ride a crate up to the highest ledge. It contains a rail detonator.

There is a tunnel in the right-hand wall of the air lift; ride a crate up to it and proceed to the exhaust shaft. The exhaust shaft releases bursts of air that you must ride to the top. There is a metal ledge about halfway up, but it is possible to time a force jump with the exhaust to launch straight up to the top.

The exhaust shaft opens up into an outdoor area. Hop down from ledge to ledge to the ground below. Locate the lift and ride it to the very top.

This next area is a bit difficult to navigate. There is a moveable platform docked at the far end of the chasm that must be brought over. The switch is located on a ledge beneath the platform. To get to it, enter the room to the left and take the lift down, then run across the bridge and curve around to the switch. Use caution while crossing the bridge as the exhaust port will release intermittent bursts of air and blow you off the edge. If you have rank four Force Jump, it is possible to combine it with Force Speed to jump clear across the chasm and onto the platform, bypassing the switch altogether.

Secret Area 3/6: Jump down from the bridge into the exhaust port and sprint to the very back. Drop onto the grate to collect the items and to keep from being blown out. Warning: it is very difficult to make your way back to the bridge before the next air cycle. It is advised to let the air cycle carry you to the bridge.

Once across the chasm, jump up onto the crate nearest the jutting natural ledge. Make your way to the lift and ride it up. Alternatively, run out to the edge and look down. Fall onto the small ledge below and take the lift at the other end of the room.

Secret Area 4/6: On ground level, there is a room containing fuel drums. Blow them up and drop into the small nook in the floor.

Once the lift makes it to the top, run straight past the cargo crates and past the exhaust port.

Mission Objective: Suspend the air flow from the main exhaust port long enough to break into the exhaust monitoring station.

At the very end of this outdoor area, there is a rectangular lift; at the top of it, there is another vertical exhaust port. Jump over to the small ledge and enter the tunnel. Continue straight ahead through the tunnels to the next exhaust port. Either jump straight across to the room on the other side or use the port to the right to avoid the exhaust.

Ride the lift all the way down and enter the exhaust vent control room. There is a tunnel leading underneath the port and into a second control room. The most basic goal at this point is to throw the switch in the first room, run through the tunnel, and then hit the switch in the second room so that the airflow is temporarily disrupted. It is advised to clear both rooms of enemies beforehand so that the process goes more quickly.

With both switches thrown, the exhaust will come to a brief standstill; squeeze through the window to enter the port, open the door in its floor, and drop down into the exhaust monitoring station.

Mission Objective: Find a way into the maintenance room high above the exhaust monitoring station.

Once there, locate the switch and hit it, then ride the lift up. Go down the hallway and enter the double doors; head to the left and exit the room. Follow the ledges into the next room, then hit the switch to open the doors and establish airflow. Ride the air current to the top and destroy the grate.

Secret Areas 5/6 and 6/6: Before reaching the top, there is an area surrounding the air current. The easiest way to access it is to run into the back wall and hold the forward key. The two secret areas are the accessory exhaust ports on either side of this area.

Ride the elevator at the opposite end of the room to end the level.
Level 18: Descent into the Valley

By manipulating the cargo payload, you should be able to gain access to the inner levels of the Imperial base. Then, work your way through the unfinished superstructure.

Warning: This is a very confusing level. It is easy to get turned around, stuck on repeating circuits, or fall to your death in certain areas.

Mission Objective: Find the safe entrance to sublevel 2.

Once the elevator arrives, proceed across the room and into the hallway. Head into the small room and take the lift down. In order to enter the next area, step on and off of the lift in order to send it up, then drop through the floor.

Mission Objective: The control room will allow you to lower the payload through the cargo doors so you can jump down to the sublevels.

Follow the hallway into a room with a couple crates and a ramp leading into another hallway.

Secret Area 1/7: Jump up onto the high ledge above the doorway at the top of the ramp.

Secret Area 2/7: Enter the room with the zigzag pattern on the walls and jump up into a cubbyhole with an armor vest.

Go up the ramp, down the hallway, and up the stairs to the room directly ahead. Go through the next door and follow the hallway to a ramp leading onto a ledge.

Secret Area 3/7: Across the way, there is a small room with an elevator. Jump up onto the roof.

Secret Area 4/7: Blow up the wall behind the aforementioned ramp.

Proceed into the cargo area across from the ramp and call the lift; ride it down to the ledge below. Jump up into the room across the way. Either call the lift or simply fall down the shaft and into the room. Grab the control room key and exit the room, cross over to the lift, and ride it up. Jump up onto the ledge and drop into the tunnel with the zigzag pattern. Travel up the ramp and down the hall from earlier, but this time, enter the control room to the right. Throw the switch to open the cargo doors and send down the payload.

Mission Objective: Continue on to level 3, past the cargo staging area.

Exit the control room and follow the same route from earlier. In the cargo area, the payload is now ready to be sent through the next set of doors. Hit the switch on the wall to send it down, then drop on top of it and jump over to one of the two ledges with holes in the floor; it doesn’t matter which. Follow the corridors to a dark room with health packs and shield recharges lining the left wall. There will also be a lift across the way.

Call the lift and ride it down into the next control room. Hit the switch on the right-hand wall to drop the payload down and start it rotating. Exit the room and cross the bridge to the ledge overlooking the payload. Alternatively, jump to the ledge just to the right (pictured), before crossing the bridge. Ledge-hop up into a hallway and round the corners to the edge overlooking the payload. It is much easier to take the latter route because Force Jump isn't needed.

Regardless of the route, jump onto and run across the payload and then drop down to the floor on the opposite end. The goal is to make it to the room pictured. It is likely that you will be on the ledge above your destination, in which case you will need to carefully make your way down to said room. Once across, go through the door.

Mission Objective: Find the ventilation system the Empire installed to filtrate the air from the valley core.

Follow the hallway to the right and round the corners to a room with three door controls on the wall. Throw all of them and run along the ledge to the hallway on the far end. Ride the lift down, traverse the room, and go through the hallway to a down-sloping ramp.

Secret Area 5/7: To the left of the entrance to the down-sloping ramp, there is a wall to blow up.

At the end of the ramp is a ledge to jump to; to the right is a locked door. Run along the ledge until Stormtroopers open the door and begin attacking.

Secret Area 6/7: Further along the ledge is a room atop a ramp. Blow open the wall in the room.

Enter the room the Stormtroopers opened and take the lift down. Go through the door to emerge onto a ledge. There are two ledges across the way; one is higher up than the other. Run to the end and jump across to the lower ledge. Carefully cross the top of the wall to the right and hit the switch on the wall. To the left is a lift that will be called. Drop down onto it and run forward into the room. Go through the following rooms to a set of ramps to the left; while climbing the second ramp, turn around and jump up to the ledge. Jump up onto the roof of the room, and then up onto the top.

Carefully cross the top of the divider (yellow and black stripes) and jump up onto the roof across the way.

Secret Area 7/7: Continue along the top of the divider to the room at the end.

Go around the hole in the roof and enter the hallway in the back wall to emerge at the ventilating system.

Mission Objective: Drop into the air shaft leading to the valley interior.

Hit the switch to shut off the vent, then enter the air shaft. Fall down the shaft and follow the next shaft to a grate. Cut the grate and drop down to end the level.
Level 19: The Valley of the Jedi

Jerec's troops have excavated deep into the surrounding chambers that lead into the Valley of the Jedi. Make your way through the Imperial excavation to the Valley core.

Mission Objective: Make your way to the excavation below the Imperial superstructure.

Go through the hallway and up the ramp into a room, then go through the door. Go through the downward-sloping hallway and round the corner to an elevator shaft.

Secret Area 1/8: Ride the lift down one stop and jump up onto the ledge across from the elevator.

Ride the lift to the bottom and jump up onto the top of the small building in the center of the area.

Secret Area 2/8: Jump up onto the ledge directly across from the elevator.

Secret Area 3/8: The outside walls of the infrastructure are anchored to the walls of the earth with horizontal beams. The third secret area is the highest beam.

Secret Area 4/8: Look up from the highest beam; the secret area is in the alcove above.

Destroy the grate in the roof of the building and drop inside, then ride the lift down.

Secret Area 5/8: This secret area is beneath the lift.

Take the lift at the other end of the room, and crouch under the supports to emerge at the drilling site.

Mission Objective: Manipulate the ancient doors to open a passage to the Imperial troops guarding the valley core.

Corkscrew down around the site to the tip of the drill. Hop down the hole in the ground into the burial grounds, and go through the hallway. Meander through hallways and rooms to the area pictured.

Secret Area 6/8: Instead of turning left to the area pictured, turn right and blow up the wall.

Go through the room and enter the dark area. Go through the tunnel ahead and down into the next room.

Secret Area 7/8: Blow up the wall to the left of the metal ramp.

Head up the ramp and through the tunnels to come upon a large, dark room with dismembered Stormtroopers and two Kell Dragons. One of them is skulking around a hole in the floor; either kill it or run around it and drop down into the tunnel. Go through the tunnel and up the slopes to a room lined with ledges. Get down to the floor and go through the next room and down the slope to the next hallway.

Mission Objective: Find an alternate passage to the Valley of the Jedi entrance.

There is a large switch on the left wall that opens the door just ahead. Hit the switch until the door is opened all the way. Proceed through the hallway to the next door. This time, open it all the way and then hit the switch again to close it; run through before it does. Jump up into the sloped hallway to the left of the next room and follow it across the door weights.

Secret Area 8/8: After crossing the first set of door weights and up to the right, there is a weak section of the left-hand wall to blow open.

At the very end of the tunnels, there is an area that drops down into a spacious room with cargo crates.

Mission Objective: Fight your way through the blast doors to the Valley of the Jedi burial chamber.

Go through the large door to the left and take down the AT-ST. Kill the commander to get the red key, and use it to open the locked door to the Valley core.
Level 20: Boc - The Crude

Boc is the last of Jerec's Dark Jedi and he will fight to the end. You must destroy him quickly and stop Jerec from seizing the Valley's power.

Mission Objective: Boc is Jerec's last line of defense. You must destroy him to confront Jerec himself.

Know this now: Boc is a pain. He constantly hops around, even when attacking, and it is somewhat difficult to block his attacks due to his use of two lightsabers.

Force Usage and Strategy

While not entirely difficult to defeat, Boc uses Force Destruction. It is therefore advised to engage him in close combat and not allow him to wander too far away. Force Protection and Force Blinding are also very useful in this battle.

Alternatively, if the player has chosen the Dark Side, there are hallways in the sides of the arena that lead to rooms with a fair amount of debris. The debris can be thrown at Boc to help whittle down his health.

LEFT: The entrance to one of the hallways. RIGHT: One of the rooms littered with debris.
Level 21: Jerec - The Force Within

The unstable Valley has swallowed both you and Jerec, trapping you together in the center core. His power will be replenished unless you can cut him off from the force stream.

Mission Objective: As Jerec revives in the core, he pulls at the Jedi monuments. Once the statues block your access, he will destroy you at a whim. A mechanism left by the ancient Jedi can temporarily interrupt his rejuvination.

Jerec is the final dark Jedi to defeat, and the environment of the Valley core gives him the potential of being difficult to fight.

Unlike the others, Jerec has access to the Force power that is trapped in the core and will use this power to heal himself. The most fundamental goal is to get in his way when he begins running to the core so that he can't jump up into it and heal himself. While healing, he will be surrounded by a protective shell and will be invincible.

If he manages to gain access to the core, his use of the power will create a pulling force, drawing Kyle up into the air. Once the initial pull has ended, Kyle will fall and take damage when he lands. This pull will also cause the two large statues at either end of the room to begin moving towards the core. If the statues reach the core (after three healing cycles), Jerec will have successfully shut himself in the core with the Force power, causing the mission to fail.

LEFT: Jerec running to the core to heal. RIGHT: Jerec healing in the core.

Because the Jedi predicted that someone might abuse the core's power, they installed a failsafe that will disrupt the power usage. While Jerec is healing and the statues are moving, hit the switches located behind the statues. Although the switches will not stop the statues from moving, they will interrupt the power and cause Jerec to heal incompletely. In order to work, they must both be pushed.

LEFT: One of the stone statues in the Valley core. RIGHT: One of the failsafe switches.

Do not fight Jerec in the core itself. He will be able to heal with minimal effort and even though Kyle would be in the core with him, the mission will still fail if the statues reach the core.

Force Usage and Strategy

Jerec makes frequent use of Force Lightning and, more rarely, Force Destruction. Unlike Boc, Jerec will not distance himself from the player and cast Destruction; he will cast it if the player runs away. Force Protection is useful against the lightning, and Blinding is useful for distracting Jerec for a short time. There are power surges in the core if you're in need of more Force power.

In order to defeat him, the player will need to attack him until he retreats to the core, at which point they need to get in his way to prevent him from accessing it. All that is required of the player is to stand in the doorway and hold the forward key to keep from getting pushed back into the airflow. During his retreat, Jerec will not defend himself, so defeating him at this point is very simple.

@Ferdish2 Oh no, not the explosion at the end! I've been knocked clear out of the ship by that one on many occasions XD Congratulations on surviving though! One HP at the end is an achievement in itself! XD

@Cornwallis Morgan 87 you're right, it is pretty deadly too. All those probe droids' shots do you damage, NTM those sudden small explosions on route - especially in the narrow shafts. One of these explosions almost killed me at the very end of the level (at the switch bringing down the catwalk to the Moldy Crow), leaving me with just 1 HP XD

@Ferdish2 It is, but that route deals so much impact damage that if you don't get it JUST RIGHT, you'll die along the way (and I still do when I try to practice). I found it to be too much hassle to mention it in the guide, and just decided to leave it up to the players to do what they want.

Thank you for this guide, it helped me with a few secrets.

BTW you mentioned taking route 3 on The Falling Ship (activating main engines on the bridge before heading to the Crow) is a necessity to finnish the level on hard difficulty. Actually, it is possible to finnish it via route 2 as well (and hence to get one more Force star then). I admit it is not easy though, it requires quite a skill and timing in controling Kyle's character so it won't get stuck at obstacles, it probably takes more than one attempt to finnish it...but it is doable.

Thank you, I definitely am glad to hear that it helped you! But yes, when I very first played back when I was in elementary school, I loved the idea of blending the two sides together. Thankfully, the levels are structured so you can find all the secret areas regardless, but trying to use both sides of the Force will lock you out of the secret 5th power. I haven't really played with different combos, but I think the game chooses the side you're on based on which one you spend more stars on. So not only do you forfeit that 5th power, the game then forces you onto a side that you may not have even wanted to be on. They remedied that whole setup in Jedi Outcast.

Yeah, I think you're doing a great job and I got all secrets in my last playthrough. Ended up with 1 star I couldn't spend since I forgot that you need to have 0 stars in neutral powers to get the final power of each alignment. Kinda dumb and makes some secrets unreachable, I think.

@Mordaedil Dude, I can't even tell you how many screenshots I took for this guide XD I would've loved to be able to include more photos, but it got too be too difficult to format properly and I didn't want to remove the photos that were more of a "you should now be here" check-in. Perhaps ironically, that's what led to the guide being so descriptive!
Mordaedil 25 May @ 11:48pm
I find some of the descriptions a bit difficult to understand, but this was still very helpful for finding all the secrets. I love these guides that use images to show what is needed, and the only ones I was confused on were the ones that didn't have a picture of the secret.

A good guide, that reminds me of guides before everything was a YouTube video.

@Dustz Sorry you feel that way, but you're definitely the first to express that opinion. I first wrote and published this guide 10-11 years ago to Strategy Wiki and then published it here a couple years later. To my knowledge, no one else had taken the time to write one elsewhere. So if you have ideas for how to make it shorter and more compact while still serving its purpose, you're welcome to write a new one. Otherwise, you can still buy the hard-copy guide online or watch walkthroughs on YouTube.
Dustz 23 Mar @ 3:26pm
This is so long but so useless. It's very hard to understand what the tet is refering to most of the time. And all walkthroughs online are just copies of this one!
