Also, if the Aegis fires it's thingy, you can still get out of the way if you're fast enough/depending on the range. Keep an eye out for the giant thingy.
-Ghost/widow: Paladins and Raiders are a pain in the ass, only because of the plasma field and raider detection buoy, Paragon is also pretty bad if they're running the detection buoy as well. Widow is fairly unreliable in close enagaments, in my opinion anyway, I like to sit about 9-10km out to avoid getting hit because it's lack of escape mechanic and poor maneuvering have gotten me killed quit a few times. Pioneers can be fun to fight against, even if they're buoy happy. Range on the bouy is ~8km I beleive, so as long as you maintain some standoff you'll be just outside the detection range. This is especially important for the Black Widow. With the widow, always lead your salvo with armor missiles. If the full slavo impacts then you'll only need to use a few of your primary missiles to finish cracking the armor. This is of couse, dependant on the ship you're attacking.
When it stops your pretty much dead.
Your smool , your fast , and you have a shield .
But only your size and speed save you much of the pain in most situations.
