Introduction
Events are critical to making the most out of trading, so I've been creating a log of each event and determine what it does. Almost every event appears to affect commodity prices, and some also have additional special effects.

Note that there appear to be commodity price floors and ceilings, past which the price cannot fall or rise. This means that if a good is already very cheap on a station, an event that cuts its price will not have as dramatic an effect as it would if that good were expensive, and vice versa for events that raise prices.

So, when the price changes due to an event the price change is based on it's normal price. So, a famine on an agricultural world will not, necessarily, result in better prices.

Did they change what destroying the treaty vessels do? The Arms race used to result in a war and the war used to result in a famine.

My only question is how long do you have to wait for the events to end?

You sure wars don't take place in space? I just arrived on a station at war and its completely surruounded by red devil cartel ships and militia ships fighting eachother.

yeah it's not a 100% sure that the prices will change.. For example i saw a station going through famine and bought all meat and soy paste i could find only to see them on the lowest prices ever.... Sometimes the game fuck with you LuL

I just bought a ton of ceramic plates and data cubes from a station with market glut and went to sell them to one with economic boom, thinking I would rake in a profit. Instead of increasing in price they went down.

Just noticed that during a crime wave the price of space slaves actually went up for me. Lost like 4k due to not selling it before I destroyed the ships outside.
