Talent Management
If you have not collected 69 talent points to fill the entire tree, choose the skill spent wisely
My suggestion:
1st. Fill first line first in button by button (fill = 3/3, 4/4 or 5/5... maximum you can fill it) first then change type, hull is recommended for start) until second line is unlocked
2nd. Then fill armor tab in 2nd line is highly recommended
3rd. Fill all the first line (maybe you want to save the diplomacy and sail button and going to second line first)
4th. Fill all the second line(then fill every skipped one above)
5th. Fill hasty repair
6th. Choose one: poison or grogolov, then fill it
7th. Now choose a specialization, you wanna stop and shoot, more durable (defense) or you wanna attack offensively (offense) or you wanna do skill barrels like poison, healing, grogolov (support). Then fill it one by one, starting by the usefull one to you first.
8th. After Specialization complete, try to fill the one you not choose in step 6, and then fill fog.
9th. Then fill the remaining bar of 3rd line, defiance then improve building.
you need 69 talent for all step above to complete
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Warning: 10th step or further will not helpful for low talent player and only usefull when you have spare talent (after you reach more than 69 talent) to spent while you already done step above. Usefull for people who want to change builds. Remember that only one specialization will active at a time, but you can switch in towns.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
10th. Choose secondary specialization, that you wanna use if first specialization not fit for you. Fill it.
11th. Fill the last specialization.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
That's all what you can do with the talents

Q: What i will do with remaining talents?
A: Watch it stack like a counting machine

Q: So is there's no benefit getting more talent, i.e. in talent 750 player?
A: There's an advantage until talent 69, where player get max skill tree for a specialization, above it just adding secondary specialization or make all specialization avaliable when you want to switch, but above that, there's no advantage compared to a 69 talent full 9th step players
It's for allowing special commands, first command need 150 total talent, and it increased step by 75, so it's 225, 300, 375 and stop there.

Taken from http://windward.gamepedia.com/Aequitas
These are the commands and their necessary talent points that you can use if you belong to this faction: (not needed to be in aequitas, you can join them instantly but without equipping their faction you can also do this if you get the requirement, also this commands have cooldown)

Personal note: correct me if i wrong
command --TP needed -- effect
/summon0 <factionID> -- 150 TP -- Summon a normal ship (60 sec cooldown)
/summon1 <factionID> -- 225 TP -- Summon a captain equivalent (180 sec cooldown)
/summon2 <factionID> -- 300 TP -- Summon a pirate lord equivalent (300 sec cooldown)
/summon3 <factionID> -- 375 TP -- Summon a dread lord equivalent (600 sec cooldown)
You also can control equivalent ship in observe mode if the server allow it
Spoiler: 750 TP can control a Pirate King/Grand Admiral

/award2 <player name> -- 150 TP -- give a random +2 item to a player (900 sec cooldown)
/award3 <player name> -- 225 TP -- give a random +3 item to a player (1800 sec cooldown)
/award4 <player name> -- 300 TP -- give a random +4 item to a player (3600 sec cooldown)
/award5 <player name> -- 375 TP -- give a random +5 item to a player (7200 sec cooldown)

if you dont mention a player name, it will award all players in the region, with longer cooldown
/award2 -- 150 TP -- give a random +2 item to all players in the region (1200 sec cooldown)
/award3 -- 225 TP -- give a random +3 item to all players in the region (2400 sec cooldown)
/award4 -- 300 TP -- give a random +4 item to all players in the region (4800 sec cooldown)
/award5 -- 375 TP -- give a random +5 item to all players in the region (18000 sec cooldown> 5 hours!)

Another thing of high level player get:
At level 200 you are able to build siege towers on water.

Developer admins privelege:
Do this with no cooldown period.
Can summon Pirate King/Grand Admiral, or even fluffy
Create Events, such as ghost king.

Do not press upgrade with talent, you will lose entire level (Lvl down) to upgrade it.
Equipment guide
If you new to the game, get shredding coatings (if you dont have the essense barrel, this is for combat placeholder bonus) +4 is recommended, +2 if you dont have +4

Get tools like spyglass, grappling hook, diving suits and merge them to the captain's tool.
List of them:
1. Advanced Construction Supplies: Add ability to place lighthouse and towers (permanent, cooldown) > High TP instances has usually drop of this and usually this is trash for high level, just ask for it
2. Grappling hook > take nearby loot automatically
3. Spyglass > basicly improves your radius of vision
4. Telescope > improved spyglass, see more (rarely drops)
5. Diving suit > let you send your crew to dive into a wreckage for oxygen, and will guaranteed pop up a new cargo loot box
6. Heavy Anchor > let your ship be stationary without captains command
7. Foglight > allows you see and shoot across the fog (ultra rare drop!)

Better Quality = Better item, even it's TP 0. If you had legendary, just upgrade it in level 10 town and see the increase in stat, upgradable until your level

Legendary (+5) items is the one you should equip, but if you find much of them, you wanna know which one to equip. Essense got by defeating dragon, works like coating with piercing effect, you gonna love that one :)

A good equipment set is spiking on one thing, and satrifice something that is not important for their build

Here's some "Build" i suggest
Heavy Tank= Hull+Armor (Other aspect is good, but keep low speed and diplo, low sail is recommended) > Defensive perk (Ship of the Line)
Intense Regen= Hull + Diplo (this due to self water) > Support perk (Turtle Ship)
Run N Gunner= Range + Accuracy+ Mobility> Offensive perk + Speedy ship (recommended dragonfly, corvette, or clipper)
Attacker= Damage+Critical+Piercing> Offensive perk + Damage Ship (Dragonfly, corvette)
Medic/Support= Diplomacy+Critical+ (Hull+Armor is recomended side target for longer life) > Support perk + support ship (Zeppelin or Royal Corvette)

pressing create equipment bundle when you are in inventory will pack all your equipped items into a single container crate, you can unpack it or re-equip it, pretty usefull when need to change builds, or to shrink space so vault can hold more
Essenses
Essense Barrel Drops after your team kill a dragon, and you was there when dragon killed, and not idling, the essense will drop at the corse, and disappear soon in few minutes

Every Essense has it's own strength and weakness
here is the spec, taken from http://pastebin.com/r735ZUp0

Fire essense
40% ignore armor
-10% damage to normal ships
+10% damage to flying ship
-30% damage to structures
+30% damage to sail
on crit: put enemy on fire, deal damage overtime, preventing enemy out of combat (all round, pretty suitable for beginners and in all conditions)

Frost essense
20% ignore armor
+10% damage to normal ships
-20% damage to flying ship
+30% damage to structures
-30% damage to sail
Slows enemy on hit, making enemy losing speed and mobility to turn (same like chainshot or mortar effect) (Support)

Acid Essense
50% ignore armor
-20% damage to normal ships
+20% damage to flying ship
-20% damage to structures
normal damage to sail
adds Sick effect on critical hit, making the enemy cant hasty repair, and add poison effects to enemy it hits (Offensive)

Shock Essense
70% ignore armor
+20% damage to normal ships
-30% damage to flying ship
-50% damage to structures
-60% damage to sail
Debuff Specialization and Resistance and add +vunerability effect on critical hit (volleys), weakens enemy (offensive)

Nether Essense
80% ignore armor
-30% damage to normal ships
-30% damage to flying ship
-30% damage to structures
-60% damage to sail
gain 10% health on damage dealt, no need to critical (defensive)

Never vault those essense, can bound to other player bug

Tip for good raid team: try not all get nether essense equipped at same time, try combination, since other than nether give help to other player (example: shock will weaken enemy the +vunerability for everyone, tank could finish a lord fast even what shock player did is hit and run), recommended to keep at least one of each type in a team.
Advanced tips
There's some advanced tips:
1. If you love ramming, use defensive perk. And when almost ram, poison him and use defiance, the damage will be better.
2. If you face some pirate, (except dread or king) or even PVP with someone (except the ones having foglight), fogging him make he can't shoot, and if someone put him in grogolov, he will get damage without firing cannonballs. A + if you have a foglight, you can shoot him even he is in the fog or you in the fog.
3. Fog yourself for hasty repair, use it for emergency repair situation, but make sure you are not poisoned, or surrounded dread or king, carefull for
grogolov or other skill barrel, and do not water the fog, watering fog remove the fog effect.
4. Typing /3rdPerson will change the camera into third person, you can see what's in front of you, but satrifice backview, and a bit harder to skill barrels, this is for ramming guys or strategy oversee.
5. Poison are more effective than grogolov for harder enemies, since poison remove hasty repair and lower enemy's accuracy, speed, mobility, armor or maybe more. Prioritize poison, then grogolov if already poisoned (only 1 poison apply at once, not multiple stack).
6. If you using defensive perk, crawling at a certain speed will still keep the damage bonus from hull. It's certainly below 50% full sail speed, maybe 10%, 20%, 25%, 30%... depend on your ship and stat speed. My Ship of the Line with 0 speed equipment get hull bonus in 30%, while my Hamina in singleplayer in 50%. Experiment as necessary.
7. Put a tower too high, and cannonballs can't reach it (except flier's cannonballs). Usefull to defend a city from pirates. Skill barrels is recommended for destroying those. (Try to put them highest as possible)
8. If you keep fighting in the same place and are not making progress let your allies fight those battles and strategically go for towns where the enemy pirate ships are not present. The more towns you capture the more friendly ships will spawn in an area.
9.If you keep losing, try to retreat to previous region and make a town at least level 9, better the town level the better ship you can buy
Level 1: Sloop
Level 2: Sloop of War
Level 3: Schooner
Level 4: Brigantine
Level 5: Royal Brigantine
Level 6: Brig of War
(When unlocked, Choose ship below this line, believe me, upper section doesn't good)
Level 7: Galleon
Level 8: Frigate
Level 9: Ship of The Line (SOTL) & Corvettes
Level 10 in 36 talent or higher region: Flying Fortress, Zeppelin, Dekkar, Clipper, Turtle ship, and also enable upgrade equipment option in town (which is helpful).
Remember item stat = Quality(non upgradable) x Level (upgradable with gold in size 10 town)
10. Watering an area cloud skill barrel (example: grogolov, poison, fog, acids, electric, etc) will remove the cloud and the effect.
11. Seeing john cena pounding you? Sabotage him back!
12. Want to force specific renderer?
DX9 -> put -force-d3d9 in launch option!
DX11 -> put -force-d3d11 in launch option! this is buggy but add fps
13. making a king get self mortar is very great idea, very effective
14. Capture all town in heroic, king will repair at nearby town real quick, 15 sec = full hp, really hate when it happens
15. Do NOT sabotage level iconed enemy or player, it does 0 effect for dread and players, and for king and dragons it will backfire to you.
16. If you die, you can click a friendly town to spawn there, doesn't work if there's conflict/battle or the spawn is occupied

Team management
This is to make a dream team.
A Diplomacy supporter should accompany a heavy tank (heavy defense guy) and heal him as a medic.
Heavy tank supposed to draw damage and distract enemies when offenser assault.
Offenser should attack agressively and when low, leave tank to distract when healing and ready to re-assault

Be carefull that that medic should avoid damage while throwing water barrel. Barrel timing is important.
How to do a good raid fast
1st: capture one town
2nd: get a player anchoring on the on hostile towns (and dont move till 4th, capture instead of sit) (prevent spawn)
3rd: sweep any hostiles, pirate ships and towers, demolish them. While doing so, don't let those capturing the town dies.
4th: After clear, capture town, wait dragon appears, then capture the last town
5th: when dragon spawn, poison him all time, fliers get dragon, floaters get towns and pirates. If floaters get near dragon, then dragon will fire breath and kill anything in his sight including fliers
6th: If you cursed, then stay, let other run, but make agreement in first before raid start, or just when raids begin, staying with cursed deals bonus damage
7th: last: every time dragon 25% decreased hp, he will capture a town instantly and spawn high tier pirate, fliers focus on dragon while floaters get it, and please floaters don't go to dragon vicinity

^ These proven to be good thing ^
without coordination of this, 100>50 takes 1 hours, after coordination, 50>0 takes 30 mins.

very suggested to use /3rdPerson as i mention above

Meanwhile, I did all the raids, and to be honest nether will be the hardest one.

For first raid tho, try frost, easiest one, but as i though it is the weakest reward too XD
Second easiest would be fire. If you want to have something that not too hard to get but good to use, fire is your thing.

couldnt understand your english so most of this was gibberish. Also, the game is already in 3rd person. the view you are describing sounds like you mean 1st Person.

PeteMan 1 Jul, 2016 @ 8:29am
yea but the server we play on its requirment is 30 my real question is my friends can easily swith from the green faction to the red (forgot names) but i cant join syndicate y?
🗲BlueLightning🗲  [author] 1 Jul, 2016 @ 2:30am
actually, factions have it's own rep minimum to join
all basic 4 factions (valiant, sojourn, exchange, consulate) has 50 rep minimum restriction
all other faction are custom minimum
example: tash official server
aequitas: 150 TP + 5000 rep
windfall: 9000 rep/more
