Hadoken !!!
That being said, the Xbox 360 Controller is generally considered by most players to be one of the worst pads, due to the dpad giving lots of inaccurate inputs and sometimes making you jump or do something that you didn't intend.
Long story short, if you want to keep using pad, by all means keep doing so! I played on pad for 2 years and switched to stick, but it was a terrible 8 month journey to get used to it and honestly it's mostly a lateral move in the end.
I would recommend the "Hori Fighting Commander 4" or the newer "Hori Fighting Commander", personally.
I really learned a lot of things from this guide! Thanks!
A quick question: is it possible to be good without an arcade stick? I've been playing with a XBOX360 Controller (it's the only one I have) and I'm having some difficulties to perform special skills.
