Making your character invisible to demons

Go to:
My documents > My games > Murdered Soul Suspect > FateGame > Config

Open:
FateAIPerceptionData.ini

And change the line:

StimTypes=(TypeName=Player,BaseTypeName=Ghost,Result_Awareness=High)

to

StimTypes=(TypeName=Player,BaseTypeName=Ghost,Result_Awareness=Unaware)

By doing that your character becomes invisible to demons and you can walk around happy and safe. Keep in mind that it only affect visibility so you're still vulnerable to floor traps.

If you were playing while you edited the file the game still will use the old data so you have to restart the game to make the changes have effect.

BTW, if this fix is not working for anyone, try changing the same values in the file DefaultAIPerceptionData.ini, which is located not in My Documents, but where the game is installed, that is, \steamapps\common\Murdered Soul Suspect\FateGame

This hack has literally saved this game for me, I love the detective aspects but was too scary and complicated with the demons. Thank you so much!!

Here's the folder structure I used in Windows 11:

C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\My Games\Murdered Soul Suspect\FateGame\Config

Ok, I changed it to unaware and then started a new game, but still demons get me.
So I changed all the Stimtype files to unaware and started a new game, but I still get killed by demons.
If I uninstall the game and reinstall it, will all the file go back to the default?
Any suggestions?
Does the "fix" work on the first demon that is at the top of the stairs?

The change didn't work for me at first. As proposed by alyusenka in the comments, applying the same change to "the file DefaultAIPerceptionData.ini, which is located not in My Documents, but where the game is installed, that is, \steamapps\common\Murdered Soul Suspect\FateGame" worked. Thanks to both! It made the game more relaxing to play.

@jhameer30: I was still able to get the achievements with that change.
