As a bonus, it has the perfect hitbox to clip enemies up to two solid tiles away without Long Arms, which can help cheese through annoying encounters.
Wait... I found two energy swords in a row and threw them away because they seemed useless. Like a wrench that consumes ammo. Is it actually good?
They deal damage per ammo like a default crossbow/slugger, and so one shot many enemies, but have the free rate to make misses not too painful to happen, (and making 2 and 3 shot enemies easy to remove)
They do have accuracy issues, which is somewhat countered by homing bolts and the fact that that the slugger projectile is so huge and bounces of walls)
