The Bottom of the Well - How to find the Code

Can't seem to find the code at end game? Then this guide is for you! I have created this walkthrough so that you will see the various sequences that lead you to find the numbers in the game.

This guide will be split up into four sections, one on each of the numbers you can find in this game.

  • Surviving the metro collapse
  • The number on the back of Rey the biker's jacket after you defeat the Queen ♥♥♥♥♥
  • Hearing Ches's confession about how you are the one
  • Spending time with Ross and listening to his Catholicism reference

As you play through each of the scenarios, you will see a number flashing in the background for a second. The order that the numbers will show up correlates to how it is set up in this guide, as well as the positioning of the numbers itself. Eg: the first number will appear on the left side, while the last number will show up on the very right side.

Important: You cannot finish the game on any of these routes. It is meant for you to see the code and take the information with you in subsequent playthroughs.

Surviving the Metro Collapse:
  1. I would like a Dark Alice.

  2. I needed to think about my options.
  3. I decided to leave town.
    >> Take Crowbar
    >> Take Flashlight
    >> Take Radio
    >> Take Food x 3

  4. To walk past the worst.
  5. I kept walking, although I started looking for shelter.
  6. I knew I didn't have much time, so I ducked into the closest shelter I could find.
  7. I joined the crowd running west, of course.
  8. I declined - I didn't trust strangers.
Defeating the Queen:
  1. I would like a Dark Alice.

  2. I went online to find out what was going on.
  3. The Fallout Shelter seemed like the best option.
    >> Take Crowbar
    >> Take Flashlight
    >> Take Radio
    >> Take Food x 3

  4. I tried to push the door open.
  5. I asked her who the hell put her in charge.
  6. I stepped in - this was unacceptable.
  7. I voted for working on the trap door.
  8. We started digging.
  9. I wasn't going down without a fight - that fallout shelter was ours!
  10. I was done with the ♥♥♥♥♥ - I socked her on the jaw.
Romancing Ches:
  1. I would like the default Alice.

  2. I immediately tried to call Ches.
  3. I went with Ches, to help him out with his sister.
    >> Take Crowbar
    >> Take Flashlight
    >> Take Radio
    >> Take Food x 2
  4. We decided to walk out of the worst chaos.
  5. What I had planned to - find and appropriate a car.
  6. We had to get to the boroughs, of course. Ches knew the address.
  7. For as long as the supplies lasted.
Catholic hour with Ross:
  1. I would like a custom Alice.

    • 1 point in Survival
    • 2 points in Supplies
    • 3 points in Fitness
    • 3 points in Social life

  2. I needed to think about my options.
  3. I decided to try to tough it out at home.
  4. No. I told them good luck and stayed.
    >> Take Crowbar
    >> Take Flashlight
    >> Take Radio
    >> Take Food x 2
  5. I didn't stay longer than I had to - I left as soon as the explosions stopped.
  6. I suggested putting as much distance between ground zero and ourselves as possible.
  7. We gathered what we could and set off.

The crowbar will automatically show up in your inventory when you go through 5 playthroughs.

i dont see a crowbar in my game
