The other 4 cubes remain untouched (tried stacking, decided it was unnecessarily complicated).
I used 5 cubes
1 on each button.
2 stacked on floor below, aiming at portable wall I could see from exit area.
1 in laser on lower floor, aiming at other 2 stacked cubes.
I then portaled to exit area &
placed portals in flip panel &
lower area wall, where laser going from stacked cubes

A small design tip: don't use so many light strips where the surfaces are portalable, as it's quite bright due to the light reflecting off the white surfaces.
