Things you'd want to know before reading more
  • This build requires you to be consistent in hitting those shots
  • Not made for people with eyes that are sensitive to light. my eye feels like burning sometimes when doing this so please DO consider some kind of filter over your eyeballs.

Strictly for Assault Guns only
sniper, blast and shotguns won't be able to pull this off efficiently. The whys will be anwsered later down below.

Things you'll need

  • Assault Gun obviously

  • Mandatory Skills required :
    - Trigger Happy : reduces OP costs by taking out a tiny amount of stamina of your own
    - Frugal : OP needed for gun attacks decreases

  • Supplementary Skills :
    - Oracle : higher oracle means higher dps as you can burst the shots longer
: - Stamina : since this build drains your stamina per shot, higher stamina also means higher
    dps and higher longevity
: - Any other skills that fits your playstyle and gameplay

  • All of the skills mentioned are preferably to be used on Level 10 for maxium efficiency

  • Be noted that Trigger Happy isnt active in testing the bullet editor as there is no Stamina to support it. Test it in an actually mission and you'll get the result you're meant to see

So why Assault Guns only? Some of you might not notice that each type of gun have their own unique trait. As for Assault Rifles, each shot hit restores some of your OP. That's what makes this build possible for the inane amount of dps. It can fire shots without recoil, shots are consistent, works well from medium to short range and every bullet hits will restore half of the OP cost.
Bullet Recipe
The first one is a bullet used to restore/reload/charges your OP. It costs 0 OP and deals a tiny weeny amount of damage. The orginal creator simply named it Charger . Remember to hit corpses or any alive aragami for OP recovery or there's nothing.

  • Charger
    -
  • 1 - On button press - None : M - Rapid/Normal - Chips : Three-Shot Replica

The second one is where you lashes your insane amount of dps until either your OP or Stamina runs out. Avoid firing shots when your stamina blinks for consistency or if you just tend to doing it anyway, it can be covered with the Calm Breather skill. Missing some shots makes your OP fall for a pinch and shorter longevity

  • bullet's element Rapid
    -
  • 1 - On button press - None : M - Rapid/Normal - Chips : Three-Shot Replica
    2 - \ When 1 hits - preferred element : L - Straight/Point-Blank - Chips : none

  • Note that \ means 2's connection with 1

  • A person below stated about the BB bullet you get from when your Assault Rifle reaches Lvl 9 called the BB OP Enhanced Absorb . What about this bullet? Essentially it does the same thing but gives less OP per button press/click and it uses the OP Recovery Bullet chip. Imagine there's a three bar in front of you now . With the BB OP Enhanced Absorb bullet, fire once to an enemy and you'll fill two bars with it. Now, using the Charger bullet that I've given you earlier, fire once at an enemy and you'll fill the three bars fully. OP Recovery Bullet chip acts as if another bullet hits the enemy and thus filling two bars. With the Three-Shot Replica chip, well you guessed it. It hits three times and thus filling all three bars. There I tried my best to explain this to you. I could make a vid on it but meh. Oh and remember to test it out on a mission since Trigger Happy wont proc in the Bullet Editor since there's no Stamina for it to work out with. So test it in any actual mission .
Pros
  • Insane amount of damage in seconds
  • Good for quick runs
  • Enemy gets staggered a CRAPTON OF TIME if you dont stop your shots from hitting them. Also you need to know that some of the Aragami's attack animation immunes them from being staggered at the beginning so do expect they'll move or hit you every once in a while
  • Stay in one spot and spam2win basically
  • SSS for all missions
  • dickbutt
Cons
  • very repetitive.
  • I'd recommend you to play normally with your sword since sitting in one spot and doing literally nothing really makes you lose your edge in melee
  • hard to aim with those big flashes when your shots hit your target considering you wont stop firing
  • Chances for bond breaks are inconsistent unless you aim for them correctly or by random
For Dummies
Do know that the skills I've mentioned earlier doesnt need to be on your rifle to be active . It can either be in your sword or shield and it'll still give the bonus passive. They can also be obtained through fusing the Abandoned God Arcs from the Skill Rebuilding section under the Crafting menu in your Terminal. What skills it gives after fusing are purely rng after fusion, but chances of the rank can be determined from the graph with Yellow being the highest and Blue under it.

For those that want to get straight into it, given that you've already reached the mid-game just craft\ Tezcatlipoca's Assault Rifle as it gives both Frugal and Trigger Happy . The Trigger Happy is under the Dora Cannon skill set with a 20% melee damage drawback.

Material name is coded as Anathema .

...maybe if they all didn't eat their own poop, I would want him back as well... but that shit's gross, figuratively and literally... fuck Harambe. :kritika_grr: DIE HARAMBE!

Filthy Harambe - but the assault rifle bullet is good.

...but the thing is, I hate Harambe... Harambe should stay dead for the sake of everyone who isn't a filthy ape. In fact, he was going to eat that one child, so... I'd rather not resurrect Harambe. Got what was coming to him.

I was incredibly confused by the comments underneath about the homing bullet. they do realize the charger bullet covers the cost of the second bullet right?
feels like bait.
bullet 1 is charger, bullet 2 is a macro of charger plus cost efficient dps

Gonna kinda necro this but whatever - just a slight correction for what is said about Homing below - Use homing only on your damages bullets (that way the damage is pretty much the same while using way less OP so you get more DPS) but keep Three-Shot Replica on your Charger bullet, it restores way more OP per shot.

Tezcatlipoca's Assault Rifle, Titlacauan, becomes available to craft at story mission 102 which is when you unlock difficulty 8.

Contd.
Or even one without homing. This would cost 9 OP with homing, 6 OP without, and do, on the Base Assault Gun, 113 Damage, while your bullet, the top one, would cost 18 OP, not track, and do 156 damage. Yes, it's more, but it's not 3 times as much, like you would expect from the tripled OP cost. It's not even double, it's only an extra 43 damage, which is less than half the original damage. For triple the cost you are adding 50% damage rounded up, which isn't efficient at all, and it doesn't even save time. Replacing the Triple Shot Replica with Homing gives it tracking and halves the OP cost at the cost of 43 damage, which is, compared to the first bullet, very efficient.

TL;DR Use Homing instead of Three Shot Replica for the Rapid Bullets, costs half the OP, does 2/3rds the damage, more efficient, and actually detonates the L shots instead of constantly hitting for 1 or 0.
