The Abyss
A Bottomless Void where warriors must fight wave after wave to survive.

An Endless Arena where all who enter, never return.

And honestly, A rather enjoyable game mode.

However, the Abyss can be rather unforgiving the futher you fall down within its depths. It cares not if you are so close to finishing that wave or getting that 45 wave achievement. It will kick you out of its home the moment you screw up. And you will. There is no end to the Abyss.

And lets be honest not all of us have the skill and reaction time of a competitive champion, which is a constant reminder why you will never get that custom colour 2.

However, I'm am not here to ask who the ♥♥♥♥ thought it was a good idea to lock that second colour under 7 Gold medals, I am here to assist you in increasing your dwindling life expectancy just a bit more. Allow me to introduce a certian someone you may be well acquainted with...

This is Kragg

Say Hello to Kragg everyone.

Our friend, the Earth's Bastion, Defender of the Rock Wall, is one of two Heavy Weight Characters currently within the ROA roster. He is a Creature who focuses on strength and defense over speed and agility so he's pretty good at both dealing damage and taking it.

But he's also the one who will throw you into the Wall with the Wall if you get so much as get near it.

Now you're probably thinking: "But OP, There's nothing wrong with my main is there?"

Well no. Choose any character you desire. No one said you couldn't. But Kragg here wants to just wants to lend you a hand, even if you are sending him to his inevitable demise like the rest of cast.

Anyway, he has quite a lot of things to help you out with the Endless waves within the abyss.
Using Kragg's moveset to your advantage
Lets go over Kragg's moveset for a bit

Neutral Special Throws Rocks

Side Special makes you do a Spindash

Down Special summons spikes from the ground

And Up Special creates a stone pillar to save you or to place your enemies in position for a K.O.

Kragg's Side Special is good for clearing out the weak enemies quickly without taking much damage or no damage if you are using the specific rune for it. Not to mention once it hits an enemy you can jump out it and start it again to avoid the end lag of the move.

Trust me, Spamming this move helps out a lot and helps you avoid a lot of unessesary damage or being K.O.ed if you're around high percentages. Just be careful. You can end up missing an enemy, preventing you from jumping out of it.

While the Rocks from Neutral Special are good at hitting things that are too far away like enemies or falling seeds. The Rock shards are great at getting rid of multiple Hexes at once, espically if you find it hard to take them all out before the time limit.

Kragg's Up Special is incredibly handy with Avoid the Ground. The Pillar will be automaticly destroyed once kragg finishes the move but it won't place you into a special fall for being on it, Allowing you a lot of recoveries. Just make sure to land on a platform first.

As for the rest of his repertoire? Well...

Like I said before; Kragg is a Heavy Weight. He's a Specialist in Hitting Hard.

His Smash attacks, while slower, are good are at K.O.ing enemies quickly espically when there are energy surges around and a lot of his normals, espically aerials like his F-Air and U-Air, also hit hard. Kragg's pretty good at clearings things quickly if you need it to be.

Runes
I honestly don't have a lot here due to the fact that I don't have a lot of the runes. It costs money and it can be very slow some times to get them. I might Update it at a later date when I've got more of them. But If you want to get anything first for Kragg...

GET. THIS. ONE. I've talked about this one before. While Vanilla Side speical is good, it will only prevent you from receiving knockback, not Damage. With this rune it makes side special invincible when it's active. It's also one of the cheapest, which is good.

As for other runes? Depends on you playstyle. One of the Runes gives Kragg a boost in the direction he threw his rock so it's good for covering distance and recovering. The Strong attack super armour might be good too.

I guess you can now say Kragg is Overpowered, but it might not be something you'll complain about with Abyss.
The End
And so concludes my little guide. Hopefully this will assist you in your adventures into the abyss. Just make sure you don't spam side-b too often, it won't get you out of every situation but it will at least help.

With Kragg you can Kill two birds with one stone and-

Kragg... No. I didn't mean that literally.

Put the rock down Kragg! NO!

STOP-

I'm sorry that was a terrible joke. just go have fun.

Kragg has some ABSURD rune combos. My favourite is the triple whammy of "DSPECIAL summons more spikes", "DSPECIAL knockback increased" and "DSPECIAL spikes all come out at once" which makes the move instantly delete all enemies in your half of the stage.
