Personally, it took about 1.5 years of looking in every few days to acquire and grow all the plants, flowers, and when that was done - I packed the planter with 'trash' plants that were grown simply to toss for that final Achievement. Yes, it the old, 'Life is a Journey' philosophy.
BTW - I always kept the first handful of plants I started with over 3 years ago, and enjoy them to this day. (You can rename plants, and I always used the 'planted on' date and basic type for names). To each their own - Cheers
But it's cheating for anyone that values and hunts Steam Achievements!
