General Achievements
These achievements should come through natural progression of trying to complete the game. I'll be giving a few small tips for some of them. Alot of these can (and should) be attempted on your first playthrough because they really aren't that difficult. I'm not going to mention the achievements here but on your first playthrough I reccomend going for either Big Saver (doing so will also unlock Lock and Load in the process) OR go for Single Purchase/Motherloot at the same time. You can't do both unfortunately. Feel free to go to the relevent section for small tips.

01110100 01101000 01100101 00000001

Difficulty: 2/10

Hack 50 enemies. You probably won't get this on your first playthrough but it should come sometime on your second or if you're doing challenges. Don't think about this achievement just play the game and it will pop eventually. Hacking something, dying and then hacking the same thing will count if you want to do it that way.

But They're Harmless!

Difficulty: 10/10

Unfortunately this is the one achievement I have no idea how to get. After going through the game over 10 times, doing all challenges and whatnot i'm up to 280/300 cockroaches. The aim of the goal is to kill all 300 cockroaches. They're everywhere in all levels (mostly on ceilings and walls). There's a few in every secret item location also. generally they aren't hidden off screen. All of the ones i've killed have been somewhere onscreen so this achievement pretty much comes down to being very aware in each section in each level. I wish you the best of luck because this is a very tough achievement!

CHOO CHOO

Difficulty: 2/10

Kill 12 enemies with a single train. I did this at the start of CHALLENGE 4 (not mission). When the mission started a bunch of taxis flew by and a train hit them. I don't even think I moved. So if you're having trouble just do it in this challenge.

Don't Shoot The Messenger

Difficulty: 3/10

Complete the campaign without destroying DLL. DLL is your robot friend that sometimes appears and talks to you, literally the only other character in the game. Sometimes he'll fly down without a shield and startle you so be careful not to fire TOO MUCH (he can take a fair bit of damage luckily). Just beat the campaign without destroying him YOURSELF.

Got Your Back

Difficulty: 2/10

In Mission 11 before you get to the elevator you'll encounter a Wily Walker with the shield at the top of it sprouting flames up. Simply drop down next to it and kill it from the side. If this part is a bit too troublesome because of the big WW next to him there is also another one of these top shield WW's in the Epilogue which may be alot easier.

Heartless

Difficulty: 3/10

Harvest 10 medDrone loot. When you hack a medDrone it'll have a certain limit of the amount it can heal before it's disabled. Simply take enough damage yourself to wear out it's healing and when it wears out it'll become unhacked, float for a little while and crash to the ground. You then have to shoot it to make it explode and it will drop a medkit. Do that 10 times to get the achievement. You probably won't get it during your first playthrough but just keep this achievement in mind. I don't even know if there is even 10 medDrones to actually hack during the full story. Either way it isn't a hard achievement just be aware what you need to do.

Hide and Reap

Difficulty: 2/10

There are a few sections in the game where you will be forced to fight underwater. Simply hack a nearby laser turret and use it to kill everything above water. You should get this on your first playthrough.

Old McDonald

Difficulty: 2/10

To get this you must farm an area for bolts until the enemies stop dropping bolts. I got this in the Skywhale fight in chapter 5. Simply focus on killing the Kamikazes and Discs the Skywhales drop. If you accidently kill a few skywhales don't worry as there are quite alot during this fight. Even if you get to the point where 2 Skywhales come in and kill the enemies there (2 Skywhales = faster enemy spawns). Just keep killing the small enemies until they stop dropping bolts and the achievement pops. I think I managed to get around 1200 bolts.

Apparently you can also farm bolts on the conveyer belt fight during mission 2 by staying near the start and collecting the loot on the belt itself but the constant need to jump (and possibly missing loot) coupled with the exploding debris on the belt makes me think the Skywhale fight is easier. Up to you though!

Scavenger

Difficulty: 5/10

The hardest part is finding all the collectibles. But luckily that is what this guide is for!

Collectible 1 - Mission 2 at the very end, above the Skywhale. See the "Greenpeace" achievement for how to get it.

Collectible 2 - Mission 3 at the lava waterfall. When you get to the switch in the picture below you have to activate it to move the lava behind you. Instead of proceeding forward, activate the switch a second time (resetting it to it's original positon). Now backtrack and go down the vent again and this time head left. At the end is the collectible. Don't forget to kill the roach too!

Collectible 3 - Mission 9 at the end of the lava rising section. Near the end before you escape the ship, kamikazes will come at you from the right of the screen. Just above them is a small passage blocked off my boxes. Jump onto the big platform in the middle then into that passage, shooting the boxes so you can land in it. The lava will stop rising once you walk a bit down it.

Collectible 4 - Mission 11 at the falling platform after the cage fight. Simple to get. When the platform starts to fall hug the right wall and keep double jumping. When the plaform falls suddenly if you are in the air and just hold right you'll land on a ledge to a corridor leading to the collectible.

Collectible 5 - Mission 11 right after getting the Kamikaze hack. You need to fly to the very top of the room. Hack a kamikaze and fly to the left and up to the tube youre supposed to go into. Instead of proceeding, wait for another Kamikaze, hack it and fly to the top of the room for the collectible (and 3 roaches!).

General Achievements 2
Sleeping with the Fishes

Difficulty: 1/10

Simply die while being underwater. There are a few places you can get this in the game, I think the earliest place you can do this is in mission 5 in this area:

There are a bunch of mines in this area you can just run into to die.

Spray and Pray

Difficulty: 1/10

All you have to do for this is to fire consecutively for 2 minutes. Just hold down fire until the achievement pops. Easy!

Squeeky Clean

Difficulty: 1/10

Stand under any waterfall for 1 minute. There are ALOT of waterfalls in the game. I think the earliest is in chapter 5 (see picture for reference). There are also lots of waterfalls in chapter 5 anyway if you don't want to stand under that one.

Turncoat

Difficulty: 1/10

Get a hacked Smashbot to destroy 2 other Smashbots. This achievement should come naturally. When you get the Smashbot hack most Smashbot fights then on will have 3 or more. Simply hack one of them and let it kill the others.

Willy

Difficulty: 3/10
Sing the Dutch National Anthem. The only real difficulty for this was finding exactly what to do!

Go the Settings > Sound Levels, highlight Voice then scroll through the values while hitting the Action button (A on controller, Spacebar on keyboard). every time you change a value. So essentially just highlight Effects and press Right > A > Right > A > Right > A etc. After you do this a few times the Voice option will become "SINGSING". Back out, change the language to "Deutsch" then go back to the Sound options and press the following combination of buttons (R = Right, L = Left).

RRRLRLRRLLLRL

After doing this the achievement should pop so go ahead and change your settings back (language is third from the bottom).
Mission Specific Achievements
These will be in the order of missions rather than alphabetical order.

We Come In Peace

Difficulty: 6/10
Mission 1: Reach the warp room without firing.

The start of the mission that takes place in space is very easy. You should have no trouble avoiding the meteors. At the turrets outside the entrance door you can actually fly over and behind them to avoid damage.

The hardest part is inside. The moment DLL opens the door, make a run for it. The first set of Kamikazes can be kept ahead of but in order to avoid the second set (the ones that fall out of the pipe in front of you before the switch room) you need to double jump off the little ledge shown below.

Hug the ceiling with your jumps and when you land keep running. You'll be able to (hopefully) pass under the kamikazes (because they are higher than normal because of the double jump). Make sure you jump onto the crate from the LEFT hand side (ie the moment you come out of the tunnel). Don't go under and around. If during the jump you take damage don't worry. As long as you make it onto the crate from the left then you can hack and the rest of the area before the warp room is a cinch.

Also be aware that you don't need to hold the stick when hacking. If you're holding it there's a chance you might fire a few bullets straight after the hack (like I did at least 5 times). Just start the hack and let go.

Greenpeace

Difficulty: 2/10
Mission 2: Complete Mission 2 without destroying the Skywhale.

The big Skywhale is right at the very end of the mission and the moment you pass it the mission completes. In order to jump over it make sure you have your missiles ready (if not go back to the converyer belt and die to the saws to respawn and possibly get a special attack crate).

To jump over, simply stand next to the whale and start shooting downwards then fire your missiles. The explosion will propel you into the air which then allows you to double jump to reach the top of the Skywhale. Now you can simply run to the other side and get the achievement.

Note that one of the secret collectibles is above the Skywhale. Double jump into the passage above him to get the Arcade Stick collectible.

Follow The Leader

Difficulty: 5/10
Mission 3: Get a Nurse Drone all the way to the top.

There's no real strategy for this as it all boils down to taking as little damage as possible. None of the fights are particularly hard, just make sure you try and shoot down any flaming debris. You will probably only take damage during the Skywhale fight and even if you do the medDrone should still have at least 2 bars left. If your medDrone dies, all you have to do is die yourself and you'll go back to the last checkpoint with the medDrone returned (at the health it was at when you were at the checkpoint). You know when you've made it when you meet DLL and he says "you've made it all the way to the top!".

Fried Squid

Difficulty: 9/10
Mission 4: Make 3 Squid enemies die on the train tracks in the Gravity Bubble Fight.

THIS is the area you need to get the achievement in:

This achievement is absolutely the hardest mission specific achievement. The toughest part is actually maneuvering the squids onto the tracks. In order to do this you need to position yourself ABOVE the squid when it comes so that when it fires missiles it propels itself downwards towards the train tracks. If the squid starts near the top of the bubble then it makes it MUCH harder as you can only go so high. If that happens just float at the bottom of the bubble and force the squid to come to you.

I reccomend shooting the squid a little bit to make it die in less hits from the train tracks. But don't shoot it TOO much as when you shoot down it's missiles there is always a chance you will hit the squid too which may end up killing it. I think there are 5 squids during the whole fight so there is slight room for error.

You need to essentially keep yourself above the squids at all times. Once it propels itself downwards, follow it and get in it's flight path so when it flies to you it's almost directly underneath in which case it will turn around and hit the tracks. From full health I think the squid needs to hit the track 4 times in order to die.

Minesweeper

Difficulty: 6/10
Mission 6: Kill every floating mine.

The floating mines only appear in the first half of the mission. The first area is right at the start of the mission after you've been blown into space. These are all easy to spot and kill so you shouldn't have any trouble.

The second area is soon after, just after you pass the section where you have to activate the 2 switches. This is the hardest part of the achievement. When you pass the two way with the crawling mines you need to destroy the first set of mines floating around the block in the middle very fast. After this you need to fly up (while shooting) and hit as many of the mines circling around the two platforms as you can. Once you get high enough and mines are on the other side of their platform (not in the middle) you need to quickly fly back to the bottom of the screen so you can kill the remaining mines. It's a bit tricky and may take a couple of tries. You aren't able to sit at the bottom of the screen and shoot because the screen will force you up and past any surviving mines.

The third area is when you get into the horizontal shooting part. Around 4 waves of mines will come around in a zigzag pattern. They are easy to spot and after killing a few the achievement will pop!.

L-IFE

Difficulty: 2/10
Mission 6: Find the secret L-IFE room.

This isn't very hard. There are 3 butterflies you need to touch near the start of the mission. Once you touch all 3 a side passageway will open up (right after the third butterfly) and if you go close enough you'll be sucked into the L-IFE room. Here are the locations of the butterflies:

The passageway on the right after the third butterfly will open up.

Access Denied!

Difficulty: 5/10
Mission 6: Destroy the Wily Walker that follows you into base.

The Wily Walker is the second (and last) one that appears in the side scrolling section after the rotating lasers. The trick is to fly to the very right hand side of the screen when it comes on screen, let it follow you to probably mid screen or a bit further, then quickly fly back to the left and onto the ground and start shooting. Use any special weapons you have available (shotgun is probably best) and it should get destroyed before you reach the door.
Mission Specific Achievements 2
Mint Condition

Difficulty: 6/10
Mission 7: Burst through the hull with full health.

Complete the second part of the train escape without losing health. 2 health drops will drop at the start of this sequence so try not to take damage. Remember not to jump EVER. The big Wily at the start doesn't actually fire anything so just stay at the end and gun him down. The most difficult part is avoiding the flaming debris at the end. It's very random and sometimes you'll get it and sometimes you won't. Just stay at the end of the train (right hand side) and gun down anything that even looks like it will come close. It may take a few tries. If you take damage I reccomend just dying as the section is pretty short anyway.

Doggy Style

Difficulty: 2/10
Mission 9: Destroy the entire laser barrier after being ejected into space.

Very simple. At the end of Mission 9 after being thrown into a space a Smashbot bot will come through the lasers and try to kill you. Hack it and while staying inside the barrier use the Smashbot to destroy every laser barrier section. Make sure you don't leave the perimeter. Once it destroys the last one you will get the achievement.

Pest Control

Difficulty: 4/10
Mission 10: Destroy all the Taxis in the flood warp room.

When you arrive back in the warp room in mission 10 where you have to free DLL from the pipe there are a bunch of taxis jumping in and out of the water. The trick here is to pop out of the water just before a taxi reaches its highest point out of water giving you enough time to shoot and destroy it. If you don't do enough damage it'll get disabled and sink to the bottom making it unable to be killed. If this happens use the broken warper at the bottom to kill yourself and try again.

Friendly Waters

Difficulty: 5/10
Mission 10: Don't kill a single enemy after releasing the water from the warp room.

NOTE: This achievement can only be completed in the campaign. Using mission select will end the mission after you release the water.

Straight after the last achievement and freeing DLL from the pipe, you'll have to traverse down some flooded rooms and end up shooting a pipe releasing water. You then have to make your way back to the warp room without destroying a single enemy. There are 2 sections here. The short kamikaze one and the longer mine one.

Once you get out of the room with the pipe you shot, you'll have to shoot another pipe to propel yourself up. Once you do a bunch of Kamikazes will spawn. If they touch you they explode and that counts as a kill. The trick is to land on the second pipe after you've been propelled and quickly shoot it before the kamikazes get to you (there is quite a bit of time). Use it to propel yourself up then double jump to the ledge to the left. You absolutely don't need to shoot the horizontal pipe to the right. Run through the vents and you'll leave the kamikazes behind.

The second section only has mines. You don't need to shoot any of the horizontal pipes, only ones that propel you upwards. Just take it slow and don't shoot any mines. Sometimes a mine will explode for absolutely no reason. This counts as a kill so go down to the bottom right and kill yourself with the sawblade to start again. I reccomend turning volume up to hear if a mine has exploded.

Smashed and Slivered

Difficulty: 8/10
Mission 11: Kill 2 smashbots using a saw in the same fight.

Do this at the start of mission 11. It's a very hard achievement but it's similar to the one the Squid one from mission 4. Luring the bots into the saws is easy, but not dying before they both die + moving around the room in general is difficult because of the fans. You are attacked by 3 of them so kill one and get the other 2 down to where they flashing red and almost dead. Then try to time it so they start the charge just as you're near a saw. They have a big hitbox and even a slight nudge to the saw damages them. But if you could do the squid one this one is exactly the same, but even easier!

Purge

Difficulty: 3/10
Epilogue: Destroy all the broken Kamikazes.

Not hard. During the entire mission there are a bunch of broken down Kamikazes on floors, ledges etc. All of them are very easy to spot. There's a section near the start with a bunch of them off screen. When the mission starts run to the left and when you get to the ledge double jump to the left to get to them. After that just continue through the mission shooting every one you see.

Unblockable

Difficulty: 2/10
Epilogue: Jump over the container in the warp room.

When you get to the warp room a big container will drop to the left. Just rocket jump over it. If you don't know how go see the Greenpeace achievement.

Upgrade Achievements
Big Saver

- Fully upgrade your ship before Mission 9.
Difficulty: 6/10

A much harder achievement than Lock and Load. I suggest purchasing both Magnet range upgrades asap. Not only do they make it so you don't have to be right on top of them to collect them but just buying them early will count towards the achievement. Make sure you farm the conveyer belt mission in chapter 2 and the skywhale fight in chapter 5 to maximise bolts. You can probably get around an extra 1000 from farming enemies in the skywhale fight alone.

Lock and Load

- Fully upgrade your ship
Difficulty: 2/10

You can easily get this on your first playthrough (if youre so inclined). Every upgrade costs around 8000 bolts and without hoarding you will probably be able to purchase them around chapter 10.

Motherloot

- Complete the campign with 10,000 or more loot left
Difficulty: 9/10

You'll probably just BARELY make this. If you purchase the magnet upgrades you'll lose over 2000 bolts which you could have saved. Do NOT buy any upgrades and make sure you do your best to pick up every bolt after every fight (even during fights). Farm the conveyer belt fight in chapter 2 and the skywhale fight in chapter 5. This achievement comes down to how much you're willing to prioritize bolts over killing enemies.

Single Purchase

- Complete the campaign with only 1 purchase
Difficulty: 4/10

You HAVE to purchase the rockets to continue the game during mission 2. Just make sure you don't by anything else and beat the game. You really don't need any upgrade to complete the game. Extra weapons makes clearing enemies slightly faster but the machine gun is fantastic overall. The armor upgrades are good but once you get to a certain threshold enemies start dropping medkits frequently anyway. I reccomend doing this on your first playthrough.
Single Credit Achievements
You Can Do It, In Theory

- Complete all missions in Single Credit Mode
Difficulty: 7/10

We Never Actually Tested This

- Complete the entire campaign in Single Credit Mode.
Difficulty: 10/10

Single Credit is single life. If you die you get sent back to the main menu (or retry screen). Completing all the missions isn't really too bad. You can do one at a time and practice it without single credit if need be. However completing the entire campaign is very difficult as the moment you die you have to restart it all again. I HIGHLY reccomend practicing missions you are having difficulties with, or especially very tricky areas (end boss of chapter 12, lava section in mission 10 etc). I'll give some tips below to try and help out.

Mission 1
There is nothing really particularly difficult about the first mission. You'll only fight Kamikaze bots and the mission is over quite fast. Very easy and should only take 5 or so minutes.

Mission 2
The only real difficult part is the conveyer belt fight near the end. Make sure when you drop down you immidiately jump to the right so the belt doesn't drag you back into the sawblades. After the fight goes on for a bit be careful of the smashers coming down as they will kill you instantly. Apart from the environmental hazards the fight still isn't really too difficult and you can probably complete it first try anyway.

Mission 3
A short but slightly challenging chapter. There are 3 areas that might give you trouble. The first is the boss battle at the start of the chapter:

The more damage you do to the Skywhale, the faster and closer together the fire wheels become. It's not really all that difficult, just focus on the kamikazes the skywhale drops then quickly get some shots in. If you're scared just make sure you keep the medDrone hacked and not the gun turret. After all you want to stay alive, don't worry about the damage you do.

The second area is the lava chase level at the end. Particularly this area (I know it's caught me off guard a whole bunch). When you get here just run left and the moment you see the far gate open, run back and drop down. After this make sure you get to the bottom and you drop out to the bigger area DON'T JUMP AND HOLD RIGHT. Any hesitation will cause the big lava falls to kill you. Just drop down, run right and you will be fine.

The final area of the level is the fuel station battle and it's only challenging because of the tight quarters. Beware of the fire shooting out, don't focus too much on the crazy taxis (yellow enemies) and kill all kamikazes before they get to you. Don't worry about shooting the skywhale as it will go off on it's own after the battle is over.

Mission 4
The start of this mission is by far the hardest. Everything after the final gravity bubble fight with the squids is easy (just remember when the fight ends you have to wait for the train to fall down so don't jump premptively to the left). Take it slow, hack as many turrets as you can to make your life easier. The hardest part really is the start with all the missile launchers and kamikazes and the squid fight a bit after is only tough if you start to panic. Remember that the missles can easily be shot by spraying randomly, don't focus too much. If you're shooting at the squids when they shoot the missiles most of them will instantly be deflected anyway.

Mission 5
Probably the longest mission so far but not overall challenging. Biggest tip: Don't get hit by trains. You may need to practice your jump timing to land on the trains without getting hit or going too far. Once you master the jumping this mission becomes very easy. The Skywhale fight near the end is more a battle of attrition. Just keep moving left to right and don't stop firing.

Mission 6
Nothing particularly difficult in this chapter. Just shoot anything you might think is a danger. The second set of mines that rotate around the 2 blocks halfway through the vertical section is probably the most difficult part but even then it's not that bad. A short and easy mission.

Mission 7
This mission is very short and only has 2 sections: The train track fight at the start and the Bullet Train escape in the middle/end.

For the train track fight, get to the very bottom of the screen when you can. The enemies will take quite a qhile to come to you and alot of them will be killed by trains. When the lasers start to spawn only kill the one that spawn directly above you (if you're on the bottom floor. When the shielded lasers spawn this part of the battle is probably easier on the top platform but you can stay on the bottom if you want. The biggest danger about this fight is accidently jumping into a train. Once the trains stop spawning the rest of the fight becomes easier.

For the Bullet Train escape, the actual escape is relatively moderate. Just DO NOT JUMP. If you jump then you'll probably fly off the back of the train. Beware of taking too much damage from the fire debris at the end and you should be fine.

Mission 8
Absolutely the hardest mission so far. Almost every point has the opportunity to kill you so always be on the aware side. The conveyer belt section at the start is probably the hardest part. For the first one just hack the gun and shoot the boxes while you keep moving left (DON'T STOP!). When you drop down at the end if you hold right so you continuously move when you hit the next conveyer belt, you'll be damaged by one of the lasers at the start of the second one. If you took heaps of damage on the first belt, you still have ample time to wait for the first set of lasers to turn off before you run underneath. You should avoid the next set of lasers fine. When you drop down, activate hacking and hold left. You'll be able to hack the gun turrent mid fall and save quite a few seconds. Just keep shooting left, be aware of the damaged Kamikazes soon after the first obstacle. Medkits should drop from the boxes so you won't have to worry too much about being damaged by the gun turrets further on.

The next 2 fights are relatively similar. For the first just stay in the middle and shoot everything that comes your way and circle around the smashbots. For the second just proceed as normal and when the floor starts to open up hop to the left and just kill everything from here (because this is where the exit is). When the smashbots come you shouldn't even need to jump to the right platform. Just stay left and double jump over and shoot.

The next laser section is also quite difficult if you're unprepared and probably killed me the most during this mission. There's no real strategy, just time your movements when the lasers are prevented by the platforms.

The boss fight at the end is actually the easiest part. Apart from the regular smashbots impeding your progress just be careful of the boulders that come from the right because they may knock you into an enemy. The actual boss itself is very easy. Just let it charge down and shoot it.

Congratulations! You completed one of the hardest chapters in the game.
Single Credit Achievements 2
Mission 9
Another tough mission probably on par with the previous. There are 3 main sections. The tetris block section (2 fights), the gravity bubble fight and the lava rising end.

The tetris fights aren't really that difficult. The first one is simple enough just make sure you don't keep jumping into the laser barrier. As for the second most of it is easy. Hack the center turret first then when it runs out jump left and hack the left turret. You can finish the remainder of that fight just staying to the left.

The gravity buble fight is pretty difficult mostly because once the lasers start rotating there isn't a lot of space to move around. Use the shotgun to quickly clear out the skywhales and try to shoot down all the Kamikazes/Discs/Squid missles asap. Focus on where you are at all times.

The final and hardest section (probably the hardest section in the game) is the rising lava end. There's no strategy other then to memorize where you need to jump, be fast and try to clear out the enemies asap. Try have a shotgun blast on you. When youre almost to the top a bunch of Kamikazes will come out from the left and will really screw you over. It's possible to finish the section without killing them but it is kind of difficult. One of the early challenges in the game is a speedrun of the lava section so just do that on repeat until youve memorized it enough.

Mission 10
Sigh.....this is probably the hardest mission in the game, or at least has the hardest fight. The mission is kind of a pain to get through, with a medium length platforming section with a bunch of turrets and the end fight is ridiculous. It's the water fight with the sawblade and the lasers half way through. There is really no real tips. Stay and try to follow alongside the saw when you can. There is a chance kamikazes will bounce you into the lasers and instantly kill you so focus on ducking underwater when you think they are going to hit you. The fight is also at the very end of the chapter so if you die you have to redo a relatively difficult chapter all over again.

Mission 11
Easier than mission 10. It has 3 main sections: the starting fight with the Smashbots and the saws on the ceiling, the laser cage fight + falling elevator and then the final area fight with the 4 laser WW's.

Luckily the first fight is probably the toughest. Try not to jump into the air currents and always hack a Smashbot when you can. The tough part of the fight is trying to to get launched into the blades but overall with a bit of practice it isn't too difficult.

The laser cage fight is simple it's essentially just a normal fight. There is nothing overly difficult just make sure not to take too much damage from the little enemies. When you're on the falling platform take care not to get hit by the lower train. You'll have to jump over it at least 3 times before the platform falls again.

The last fight seems difficult but it really isn't. Once you get to the two WW on the sides part, just go to the bottom corner of one of that platforms, then kill one and climb back up. Time your jump to the other side when the other WW lasers are off. The hardest part of it is just that: getting over to the other side to kill the other WW. Once they're both dead the arena shrinks and you'll have to kill a bunch of squids. You can easily stay in one place and just keep firing, picking up weapons crates and spamming them/

Mission 12
The final boss fight. There isn't really much to say. The first 2 phases are simple and the only problems are the constant squid spawns. When you kill the second phase hop over to the left side and let him ram into the wall. When you see the lava start to fall jump across to the other side. When you hack a train just fall off onto the platform underneath instead of jumping on top of it. The moment a train hits just hammer into him with a hacked gun turret + whatever special weapon you have equipped. You can kill this phase with 3 trains.

Epilogue
You've come this far, so what's left? Nothing. This chapter is very easy and there isn't really a rush. Take it slow, don't fall into lava and when you get to the end it's time to celebrate. Congrats!

Challenge 1 - Cockroach Squatter

Aim: Kill 44 Cockroaches in 60 seconds.
Area: Start of Mission 12.
Quick Tips: Always stay on the move, don't worry about taking damage (you have too), you don't need to walk all the way to the cockroaches to kill them.

When you start immidiatly shoot the boxes below you and go right. Drop down onto the ledge with the first Wily. Stay on the ledge and start shooting him. You'll take alot of damage but you will kill him before he kills you (note you can slo quickly jump over him, get the roach and then jump back over him and drop down). Kill the cockroach behind him. Drop down again and go left, jump onto the ledge and fire at the next Wily down the hallway. You should kill him (and the cockroach at the end) before he gets to you. Go back right and follow, killing the roach in the red alcove above you on the way.

Jump onto the next ledge then jump up to the box and shoot at it in the tunnel above. You should destroy before you start falling and be able to land on the ledge. Kill the roach here then go back out, double jump up and kill the roach at the top left (don't land on the ledge). Drop back down then drop down into the very next alcove to kill a few here. Jump back up, fall down onto the next ledge with the Wily and repeat the same process as the first one (use a special attack if need be).

Drop down again, go left into the dead end alcove and kill a few here then jump back up, go right, drop down and go left. Kill the roaches on this first ledge then drop down, follow the corridor and jump up at the end killing a few more roaches here. Go back and follow the other way to the right. Jump up, kill the few roaches above the boxes then kill the Wily, drop down, follow this corridor and kill the 2 roaches at the end. Go back and right this time and drop down into the big room at the end. There's cockroaches on the ceiling, floor and the wall on the right. Ignore the Wily and focus on spraying the room. That should complete the challenge!

Challenge 2 - Stomping Ground Hero

Aim: Survive for 120 seconds
Area: Conveyer Belt in Mission 2.
Quick Tips: When a laser spawns go underneath it and kill it rather then firing at it from an angle, focus on them first and avoid the crushers.

This challenge is just a longer fight on the Mission 2 conveyer belt. You'll only fight Kamikazes and Lazer Turrets. As long as you don't get stomped on the challenge isn't really too difficulty. Just keep your jumps consistent!

Challenge 3 - Ahab's Revenge

Aim: Kill 4 Skywhales
Area: Mission 3 boss fight area.
Quick Tips: Focus on the enemies more then the Skywhale, be wary of lava wheels.

This challenge forces you to kill the Mission boss 4 times instead of 1! It's more a battle of attrition then challenge. Make sure to hack the gun turrets whenever you can as they more than double your damage against the Skywhales. The more Skywhales die the faster the lava wheels come. The best tactic is to just run on the platform from end to end. The skywhales will follow you but they pause when spawning enemies, leaving you in a great position to instantly gun them all down. Don't let the Kamikazes build up and you should be fine!

Challenge 4 - Seafood Skirmish

Aim: Roast 9 Squids
Area: Start of Mission 7.
Quick Tips: None really just focus on avoiding enemies.

This is basically a repeat of the start of mission 7 without much difference. The first 3 squid appear 1 at a time at delayed intervals and the last 6 appear 2 at a time one after the other. I'm pretty sure this challenge is EXACTLY the same as the fight in Mission 7 possibly barring the final 6 squids. If you survived that you can survive this.

Challenge 5 - Save The Skywhale

Aim: Protect the Skywhale for 90 seconds
Area: Mission 3 boss fight area.
Quick Tips: ONLY shoot left and right.

This is the boss fight from Mission 3, only the Skywhale has 4 bars of health left and you aren't allowed to destroy it. It will still drop Kamikazes and the main danger of the Skywhale is you shooting the Kamikazes and accidently damaging the Skywhale. However it's a very simple challenge. Simply hack a gun turret and run left to right on the platform, jumping when needed and only shooting left and right (never up). The Skywhale should never be hit by your bullets if done like this.

Challenge 6 - Molten Metal Marathon

Aim: Reach the top in 43 seconds.
Area: Mission 9 Rising Lava
Quick Tips: Don't stop moving, focus on your jump timings more then anything else.

The lava climbing level is (I think) the hardest part of the entire game. You have to go from the bottom to the top in 43 seconds. There is a checkpoint midway through and you should have 20 seconds left when you get to the checkpoint (18 MINIMUM). Don't be surprised if you get to the top with 1 second (or even 0) remaining. When the Kamikazes spawn near the end on the left use your shotgun to kill them asap as leaving them alive will probably end you.

Challenge 7 - Conveyer Ballet

Aim: Survive for 90 seconds.
Area: Conveyer Belt in Mission 2.
Quick Tips: Always focus on lasers, keep Kamkiazes alive as long as possible.

This is the midsection Conveyer Belt fight in Mission 2 only your gun is locked to always firing and moving around clockwise. You can't aim so you have to try and move your ship to aim at the lasers. You should try and bunch Kamikazes jump and double jump over them, then pass under them and repeat (kind of forming a constant circle around them). This should keep the Kamikazes alive for a good 10 seconds and that is a 10 seconds you don't have to deal with more of them or any lasers. As far as lasers go they spawn on the left, right, left, right, left, right so predict where they will come and just stay near them and try to kill them asap. You can them while leading around Kamikazes just make sure you don't let them drop too low.

Challenge 8 - Skywhale Survival

Aim: Survive for 3 minutes.
Area: Mission 3 Boss fight area.
Quick Tips: Always be moving, pass under the Skywhale always.

This is essentially the same as Challenge 3 only this time you have to srurvive. Kill a big Skywhale will give you about 5 seconds of enemy free moving so do it if you want. The main strategy is to constantly pass under the ship. When the ship is flying right and moves over you, you want to be running left and killing the Kamikazes as far away as possible. When the Skywhale flies back, pass under it and run right. Continue this for 3 minutes. With 30 seconds to go the firewheels come at VERY frequent intervals so make sure you're paying attention to where you land and don't let the enemies build up. Try and have a medDrone hacked too.
Challenge Achievements + Guide 2
Challenge 9 - Wily Walker Wacker

Aim: Kill 6 Wily Walkers.
Area: Mission 11 platform fight.
Quick Tips: Try to stay in one place, you can aim at the WW's before they even appear on screen and they don't have shields so they die pretty fast, kill Squids ASAP.

I thought this challenge was REALLY difficult until realizing that every time I killed a squid they didn't respawn until 2 WW's later. Also the challenge doesn't get progressively harder. The first WW comes from top right and only Kamikazes spawn so you can kill this before it even appears. Next is on the left and Kamikazes are still there but a Squid will spawn too. Kill the squid ASAP so you're not dodging it's missiles then focus on the WW. After killing this a Skywhale will fly across dropping Medkits and Weapons Crates. You can be VERY liberal when using special weapons here because there are virtually unlimited. The next WW is the same as the first and the fourth is same as second. SO in a quick summary it goes.

1. Top Right (with kamikazes)
2. Top Left (Squids + Kamikazes)
Skywhale flyover
3. Top Right (with kamikazes)
4 Top Left (Squids + Kamikazes)
Skywhale flyover
5. Top Right (with kamikazes)
6. Top Left (Squids + Kamikazes)

Challenge 10 - Suicide Stomper

Aim: Get crushed 15 times
Area: Mission 2 Conveyer Fight
Quick Tips: Stay on the left hand side, kill lasers asap.

This challenge is pretty difficult. When the challenge starts immidiatly run left. You can get crushed 3 times before the second wave of Kamikazes spawn. From here it's really just a matter of collecting medpacks and getting stomped. If you see a medpak and youve jumped over it, just land on the belt and go left. There is no consequence to this (unless there are enemies behind). If it goes under the stomper you should grab it at the same time it gets stomped and if it gets blocked by the stomper you have heaps of time to grab it. Just shoot the lasers the moment you can because they prevent jumping.

Challenge 11 - Molten Metal Meltdown

Aim: Get to the vent in 43 seconds
Area: Mission 9 Rising Lava
Quick Tips: Be quick, use Kamikazes to propel you higher.

This is simply a rehash of challenge 6. The only difference is you can no longer fire or use special weapons, but you will get shield pickups to protect you from damage. It's essentially the same as Challenge 6 however. Be fast, have precise jumps and try to stay further/above kamikaze spawns.

Challenge 12 - Kamikaze Stomper

Aim: Get 25 Kamikazes stomped
Area: Mission 2 conveyer belt
Quick Tips: None really

I thought this challenge was really difficult at first but there is a pattern. There are 4 tubes in the ceiling. The Kamikazes comes in waves from left tube to right tube then repeat. The pattern doesn't break. Kill the first 4 waves of kamikazes to get the middle stomper going then just kinda of jump and duck side to side around the middle stomper. After every 4 waves medpacks drop so you don't really need to worry about health. Kill the lasers fast as usual and if you think you can't get any kamikazes just shoot em and spawn the next wave.

Challenge 13 - Funny Floatin Feelin

Aim: Survive for 3 minutes
Area: Mission 11 platform fight
Quick Tips: You can cheat!

If you want do this the legit way, just follow the premise of Challenge 9. Gravity doesn't mean much really and it follows the same pattern. However if you want this challenge done easy, double jump at the very start and hug the left wall as you fall. You'll land on an invisible ledge where you can just wait it out!

Challenge 14 - Train Tunnel Terror

Aim: Escape the ship with 75% health
Area: Mission 7 train escape
Quick Tips: Memorize!

This challenge is an easier version of the achievement Mint Condition. The only difference is that medpaks don't drop half way through. So try not to take too much damage and get the second section down perfeectly to not take damage. In the final section with the fireballs, just stay to the far right and keep shooting anything that looks like it will get close to you.

Challenge 15 - Skywhale Sniper

Aim: Survive for 80 seconds
Area: Mission 3 Skywhale Fight
Quick Tips: Learn how to loop the enemies

You only have 300 bullets so try not to rely on shooting too much The best way to beat this challenge is learning how to loop. When kamikazes are chasing you and you need to change direction, do a double jump and the moment you land run the other way and go under them. You will need to do this the entire challenge. When the enemies start to build up feel free to shoot some to make it easier. In the last 10-15 seconds the fire wheels will be very fast so the best time to double jump is when you jump over one of them. This is one of the most difficult challenges so good luck!

Challenge 16 - Wily Walker Warden

Aim: Protect the WW for 90 seconds
Area: Mission 11 final fight
Quick Tips: Don't ever shoot the WW, spam special weapons

This is simple the Mission 11 final fight with 1 Walker. You can't destroy the walker to when the lasers get close, jump to the pipe on the bottom right then double jump to go back up. It's not really a difficult challenge just try to take out the squids asap and be careful with your jumps when the WW lasers get close.

Challenge 17 - Furious Falcon Fight

Aim: Kill 9 squids
Area: Start of Mission 7
Quick Tips: It's all about positioning

You have a constantly firing missle attack if there's no enemies there is a chance they'll circle back around and hit you so be careful. This challenge was SUPER difficult until I learnt where to stand for each fight. The moment the challenge starts head to the very bottom of the arena. Stay there until you have killed 2 squids. You'll notice that nothing spawns. Head to the top middle platform and when the lasers spawn in jump to the top left train track. The trains stop coming in this section so it's a great place to be. At one point the lasers will will be very close together to just go into the widest gap you can and try not to get knocked into it. Once this section is over and the lasers get destroyed head to the bottom once again and do the rest of the mission from here. Good luck!

Challenge 18 - Art Of Darkness

Aim: Survive for 3 minutes
Area: Mission 11 final fight
Quick Tips: Focus on enemies first, abuse special weapons

Thie takes place on a small platform with a dark arena. The darkness doesn't really do anything however. Focus on taking out enemies then when you have time aiming at a WW. Missiles do alot of damage to the WW as it's climbing down. If they're very close then switch to your EMP to buy some time. After every 2 WW's a Skywhale will fly past dropping a few medpaks and alot of special weapons crates. In the last minute the enemies come non stop so don't be afraid to spam your shotgun to murder everything around. Complete this and you have completed every challenge!

Thx for the guide!
Small correction - you don't have to change the language for the "Willy" achievement, just enter the code after Voice==Singing.

He respawns. If you kill him with your bullets, he'll just come back. Him being there at the end is no indication of whether you blew him up or not. It's possible you may have blew him and he came straight back without realising it. It's not bugged, and I haven't found anybody who has a problem with that achievement. Sorry!

Well, I guess its bugged then =\
Like, he definatelly was there when asteroid hit him in the end.

I don't understand...
Don't Shoot The Messenger - I did it, i finished camp without destroying him (I shot him few times, but for very short while), but no achievement! WUT?! Maybe you can't even shot him once?!?!

Wow that Fried Squid was insane...................
Good tip is also not to shoot squid's rockets, but rather go around in circles, this way they almost never dmg you + its easier to maneuver squids into position.
