Introduction
Hello! Welcome to Mega Phobetor: A Guide (Or, How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love the Mouse Controls.) Inside here is everything you'll need to become at least mediocre at the game, and earn yourself the presitigious "Cardinal of Combat" award! The guide has several sections. Basic Gameplay, Enemy Types, and Waves.
Basic Gameplay
Mega Phobetor is basically an old school shoot 'em up that pits you against armies of ghosts, eyeballs, disembodied mouthes, and three-eyed heads!

The game's play area is diveded into a 3x3 grid, with each space housing an enemy (Except in the case of one of the later waves, where a spaces can be occupied by multiple enemies.) Enemies spawn in, attack, disappear, and move around this grid very quickly, so a mouse is reccomended for aiming though arrow keys can be used.

You have 2 major stats that need monitoring, Energy and Health. Energy is depleted whenever you fire your weapon, and you start with a full bar (Ten shots!) You also have ten units of health, which are removed when you recieve an attack by an enemy. These stats can also be restored using various powerup bubbles that will appear during the course of the game.

In order to get to the final boss, a fairly high score is required, so make sure to use only as many shots as needed in order to rack up a big combo! Most enemies take only one shot, but there are some exceptions.
Enemy Types
There are several varieties of enemies in Mega Phobetor, all of which are listed below:

Eyes
Eyes are the game's most basic enemy. They will spawn in, attack once by blinking, dealing one damage, and then disappear. They take 1 shot to kill.

Mouthes
Exactly the same as eyes in gameplay, except they do not despawn after attacking, moving to a different tile and then attacking again. They do one damage, attack by chomping, and will die in one shot. If let alone, they will eventually leave the screen and despawn.

Petty Ghost
These pesky poultergiests occupy 2 tiles of the map (vertically) rather than just one tile. They take 3 shots to kill, will teleport to a new set of tiles after taking damage, and deal 1 damage on an attack. They will attack three times before disappearing for good.

Three-Eyed Head of DOOM!!
Final boss of the game. Has a ton of health, deals one damage per attack, and will phase out and teleport around the map trying to psyche you out. This enemy will only appear when you've met the high-score condition needed to fight the final boss.

Health Orb
Also known as the Rod of Asclepius, the Health Orb is a glass-looking ball with a green caduceus inside. Shooting it will restore your health to full. It takes one shot to break. It will spawn in and then despawn a short time after, so make sure to keep an eye out for one!

Energy Orb
Also known as the Dagger of Power. Looks the same as a Health Orb, but with a grey-black dagger inside. 1 shot to break, restores all your Energy when broken. Behaves the same way as a Health Orb.

Sun Orb
Also known as the Eye of the Sun. Exactly similar to the Energy Orb, but with a yellow eye(?) in the center. It takes 1 shot to break, but rather than restoring ammo or health, it kills all enemies onscreen. Appears very infrequently.
Waves
Enemies will appear on the screen in waves, which are detailed below (Along with tidbits on how to defeat each wave effectively!)

Wave 1
A singular Eye will spawn in the center of the grid. Just shoot it and the wave is clear!

Wave 2
Two Mouthes will appear at the top right and bottom left corners of the grid, along with an Energy Orb! Shoot the mouthes and then get the Orb to get the most energy out of it.

Wave 3
Three Eyes will appear in a vertical column through the middle of the grid. Shoot the top one first, move to the middle, then the bottom. Easy peasy.

Wave 4
Three Eyes will appear in a horizontal row through the middle of the grid. Shoot them either from left to right or vice versa. Another easy one!

Wave 5
A Health Orb and Energy Orb will spawn on either sides of the grid, in the middle row. Shoot them fast! The Energy Orb is on the right, the Health Orb on the left.

Wave 6
Eyes will spawn diagonally in sequence, from top left to bottom right, then top right to bottom left. Aiming ahead of time will greatly aid this part.

Wave 7
Two Eyes will spawn at both sides of the grid, in the middle row. An Energy Orb will be at the bottom of the middle column, and a Mouth will move onscreen to obscure it. Take out the Eyes, then shoot the mouth as it passes over the Energy Orb!

Wave 8
A Health Orb will spawn in the top middle part of the grid, along with a Petty Ghost in the top left. The ghost will move to the top right when shot, and move again to the middle bottom when shot the second time. Aim for the staff first if you're low on health, the Ghost can be tricky.

Wave 9
A Sun Orb will spawn in the center, and the rest of the grid will be occupied with Mouthes. Shoot the Sun Orb to take them all out before they attack, and score some easy points!

Wave 10
An Energy Orb will spawn in the middle of the grid. Shoot it and it's done!

Wave 11
Eyes will appear in a sequenced column from top to bottom in the right part, then center, then left part of the grid. Simply follow the trail!

Wave 11
If your score is high enough, a giant Three-Eyed Head of Doom!!! will appear, simply shoot it when it's not blinking to damage it. The tough part is up ahead, so gather what Orbs you can find and get ready for...

Wave 12 (The One With The Eyes)
Absolute loads of Eyes will spawn at the top of the screen and descend downwards. Spam into the crowd and hit up some Orbs if your health is low (It will be, the crowd will diminish your health VERY quickly.)

Wave 13
The same thing as Wave 11. Kill the Three-Eyed Head of Doom!!! that shows up, but prepare for some nasty business after this wave.

Wave 14
An Energy Orb will spawn in the middle of the grid, along with 3 Mouthes in a vertical column on either side of the grid. Shoot the Mouthes first, then take out the Orb.

Wave 15
Same as Wave 11 again, it takes one shot to kill the head. Take the Orbs as well!

Wave 16
Two Ghosts will appear, as well as a Health Orb. After that, two Three-Eyed Heads will show up as well. Shoot them both, then take out the other two Three-Eyed Heads that spawn after them.

Wave 16
A Three-Eyed Head of Doom will show up, you have infinite bullets so just keep firing and try to track it. (It will try and dodge your cursor, watch out.)

That's all, folks!
Now you have everything you need to know to shmup those ghosts straight back to heck! Go get 'em!
Thanks for reading!

That's understandable, they do sound simpler for the purposes of the description.

Ah shoot, didn't notice that Arynis! I'll add the proper names in quick, but Health Orb, etc. is a little easier to remember so that will stay for the wave descriptions.

This is a really nice guide! :D Well done!

The Arcade Punk next to the Mega Phobetor machine tells you the names of the crystal balls if you'd like to add those:

Rod of Asclepius crystal ball: Recharge Health
Dagger of Power crystal ball: Recharge Shot Charge
Eye of the Sun crystal ball: Destroys every enemy on the screen
