1. Buy the games and install them by clicking on them and hitting play/install
2. When the games have installed Launch Garrys mod
3. When GMOD boots up, you should see a small icon in the corner that looks like a remote
4. Click it and scroll down untill you find the game you want to mount.
The easy and proper way will be buying this games, installing them, opening them at least one time (they will download some content while they will be loading), and then checking the checkbox with the name of a game in Garry's Mod menu (gamepad icon in the corner).

We need a flooded gm_bigcity
With some versions of the map the player models would have trouble showing up, so all of the players would be invisible. I think that's what he's referring to in the description.
