Nice reference to "The Kingsmen".

Stat ideas:

Pros:
Alt-fire deploys a front-facing shield that nullifies %40 of all damage types (Not counting afterburn sadly.)
Weapon can still be shot while deployed.

Cons:
The shield will break off after a face-to-face melee hit or after a withstanding XXX amount of damage and must be re-obtained from resupply lockers. (The melee hit will deal %50 dmg on the breaking hit.)
Weapon's spread increases masssively when shield is deployed.
Weapon will also deal half damage when shield is deployed.
Cannot be deployed when invisible/cloaked.
-%XX movement speed while deployed. (Can affect speed boosts of a Dead Ringer.)
-%10 less cloak time.
-%15-20 dmg penalty.

I understand that my idea seems too excessive in terms of stat changes. I know that "Volvo"'s the one chooses it, but still...

STAT IDEAS

- %XX smaller "clip - thingy" (1 round)

Alt fire: opens "super high-tech bullet deflectizing floatation device"

When S.H.T.B.D.F.D is open:

+ %10-25 higher bullet resistance

+ No fall damage

- Slower fall

You could also make alt-fire while on the ground cause it to open, kind of like Pyro's flamethrower alt-fire push.
