Only way this could have been done better is adding top half animal head/jaw to hood like barbarian pelt...

I can see why they didn't allow it because of clipping issues with various armors. The player just needs to use armors to match those of the bandits that use these hood to avoid clipping issues.. or use a helmet that goes with the type of armor you use to avoid clipping issues. In all a very good and atmospheric mod. I like to see bandits and such wearing this since they spend so much time out in the wilderness it makes sense.. not so much for player as the player will use helmets that go with armor they use.

I recommend an armored one with a full masked helmet, like one that resembles the heavy dawnguard one for example. It would look similar to the Dark Souls 3 Fallen Knight helmet hood, but not torn to shit.

@DireLime You make them at tanning racks from pelts. Like Bear pelts and whatnot.

This makes no sense... There is no item called Fur Scraps how are any of you making this?

Tired of your ears freezing in the cold Skyrim weather? Tired of unfashionable hoods that do not fit with anything else than few specific pieces of clothing?
Do you love crafting and hunting for pelts? Do you crave to have that mysterious glare from beneath the shade of your hoodf?
This mod is for you! These hoods look good with pretty much any armor and look absolutely fantastic with clothing pieces as well; They also fit the setting of the game perfectly. And most of all, these hoods look like they're going to keep even those those big khajiit and elf ears warm!
You can even have that bit of armor rating for light or heavy armor without being forced to wear a cold irom helmet in a blizzard!
10/10 Would recommend this mod, and been using it with every character I've created! Never had a single bug with it eather.

I really like the look of the mod mate. But I keep geting CTD whenver I try to fast travel, and I'm 95% sure it's your mod because it stopped when I disabled it. Is there a certain load order that it has to be placed in? I really want to keep it, but I'm not so into immersion that I want to cut out fast travel

How does noe make fur scraps? I only get the abilities to make leather and leather strips.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, the mod isn't working. I have no options to make fur scraps at the tanning rack, and no option to make any fur hoods at the forge either. Can anyone help?

For some reason I can't find anything to craft or buy one of the hoods and the one I had is not in my inventory anymore and I play on the skse version.
