Unfortunately, this mod is conflicting with Rookie Customization Options . Anyway to resolve that conflict?

@Wygg TY so much bro.
LeyShade 8. dec. 2022 kl. 1:38
@Wygg - Thanks for the config. That's super useful and truly grateful for it =)
Totsnuk 24. nov. 2022 kl. 0:57
@Wygg Your config didn't work for me :< I am using Iridars Appearance Manager tho maybe thats causing it to not work.
bamboocarpet 29. okt. 2022 kl. 14:44
Thanks for the config man.
MaCC165 23. juli 2022 kl. 6:55
big thx for the config

This mod is a godsend. I use it with Invisible Body Parts for All v1.1 since that parts mod includes all the others, even the heads. Works with WOTC/CI and 558 other mods, no issues. This mod even stops The Hive's armors from appearing on new soldiers. /swoon

Here's my updated NoInvisibleHeadsOnRandoms.ini config file [pastebin.com] to support IBPA1.1 and The Hive.

Works with Iridiar's Appearance Manager and Unrestricted Customization Redux as a workaround to simulate the same effect as Clean Soldier Generation (which is hard-incompatible with UCR).

@The Mortiest Rick: Look in each mod's XcomContent.ini file. The name you need to add for each part you want to disappear is the TemplateName, for example TemplateName="HiveArmorBase_M".
The Mortiest Rick 23. mar. 2021 kl. 22:12
So, I have a metric shit ton of mods installed and no idea where I need to look for the part names to add to the NoInvisibleHeadsOnRandoms.ini file. Can anyone help?

too bad someone never took this back up.
UfelosRed 29. maj 2020 kl. 14:22
Doesn't work. Hope you like weird ass scientists.
Snubby 27. apr. 2020 kl. 3:41
Before commenting this mod does not work, please understand that it disables the invisible head from the SPECIFIED mod ONLY… If other mods let you have invisible heads, you will have to add them manually. It only makes sense, really.
jonnyafrica 1. sep. 2019 kl. 20:47
Confirmed - Does not work!
kazuya0010 20. aug. 2019 kl. 20:49
I still get invisible heads on random
Rikimaru 11. dec. 2018 kl. 12:31
Same here...Engineers, Scientists and Recruits.
Caravan 14. nov. 2018 kl. 23:38
I too get random invisble heads on randoms with this mod
Erwin von Gulaschkanone 28. aug. 2018 kl. 9:34
works fine!

try to remove the "ModClassOverrides=" in the XComEngine.ini in your ~/My Games/wotc path who tried only redownloading mods and changing mod order in case you forgot to do so before

@shadeling Updated description.
shadeling 16. apr. 2018 kl. 20:22
I can confirm that this mod does NOT work. I'm using the alternate launcher and have placed this mod at the very last spot in the load order and I still get random invisible heads.
SuspiciousSeal 16. apr. 2018 kl. 17:46
now, if someone could figure out how to make invisble heads with faction soldiers, that would be amazing. If someone comes by this with some spare time and know how, it would be apriacted if you looked into that. Thanks.

I have this problem but with legs and arms. It's from whatever pack adds halo and titanfall gear... Thinking of just chucking 'em though.
Gatito el Rey 20. mar. 2018 kl. 21:47
About my issue... I fixed it placing it last on the load order, thank you.
Permastun  [ophavsmand] 20. mar. 2018 kl. 21:43
@3dahs It should work fine with vanilla.
3dahs 20. mar. 2018 kl. 14:03
This is ok to use if im using longwar and not wotc? Or does it need WOTC?
Permastun  [ophavsmand] 20. mar. 2018 kl. 12:25
Delete the configs and then verify game integrity. Also, uninstall other invisible head mods or be sure you have the right asset name in the ini file.
star_emc2 20. mar. 2018 kl. 4:42
tried a new save & deleting config files so new ones get made... no luck...
but maybe there is another way to get around this...
maybe do something like what the Uniformity mod does with armor?
rather than scripting to exclude heads, can a script be written to force crew (engineers & scientists) to use just Face A for each race?...
that way what the invisible or other addon heads are named doesnt matter
Gatito el Rey 19. mar. 2018 kl. 11:59
Its not working for me on WOTC, Starting a new campaing i had 1 soldier and 2 civilians with the invisible head.
Permastun  [ophavsmand] 19. mar. 2018 kl. 7:21
@star_emc2 Is it on a new save file? Characters are sometimes pregenerated before recruiting them. Could also be referencing a disabled mod.

Also, finding the specific names requires opening the mod in ModBuddy, which was a huge pain. I might make a version of this mod that lets you add pieces to the ini via in-game menu. I need to learn a lot to do that, though.
Clam Slamwich 16. mar. 2018 kl. 16:33
Can't get headshot in you don't have a head.
star_emc2 16. mar. 2018 kl. 14:47
i was using the Invisible Heads Mod, thats the only source of invisible heads... i even diabled all but the race 0 heads in the Invisible Heads ini, to reduce chances of random selection. yet still get invisible heads...
3dahs 15. mar. 2018 kl. 22:28
thank you!!! I was wondering why it wasn't working. Great work!
Permastun  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2018 kl. 13:32
@mediumwell Sorry, but I don't own a Mac.
Permastun  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2018 kl. 13:31
@star_emc2 It only supports the Invisible Heads mod. However, you can add other mod items to the.ini file inside this mod's folder, found here: <steamdir>\workshop\content\268500\1520875758\Config\NoInvisibleHeadsOnRandoms.ini
star_emc2 13. mar. 2018 kl. 12:24
doesnt seem to work.... disabled all but one invisible head, still got 2 soldiers and my first engineer with no face.... almost seems to be giving me more, not less
Mediumunwell 12. mar. 2018 kl. 10:29
Hi, could you or someone with a MAC please make a vanilla and WOTC version for MAC
Permastun  [ophavsmand] 7. mar. 2018 kl. 10:02
No problem! Just took DeJonge's code and compiled it in the WOTC SDK.
Mister Maf 6. mar. 2018 kl. 3:48
Thank you so much for this.
