@Jokesly: the description says it's not compatible with the hearthfire dlc. windstad manor is from this dlc... so probably that's the reason
i'd try to unsubscribe and subscribe the version which is compatible...

Got this mod, didnt read the desc. and now I cant build my house in winstad manor. Its invisible. Any suggestions?

Why is anyone against paid mods? I dont get it. If modders want to be paid, why would you stop them?

I was playing with .ini settings to fix shadows, then I saw a hawk's shadow fly across the ground. I was like... wow! I didn't remember that, just realized this mod was making that cool moment possible. :)

It seems even though we thought we killed the beast that was paid mods back in 2015, it has returned from the depths to steal our hard earned money! We encouraged all who are reading this to join what was in 2015 and still is one of the largest anti-pay to use modding protest group as well as to sign our petition! Join, and invite your friends and make your voice known so that we can protest pay to use mods! Bethesda tries to paint out the "Creation club" like it's some sort of professionally made platform for content distribution, but anyone with a brain can tell it's simply pay to use mods under a layer of microtransactions! This cannot stand! Join and make your voice known!

I'm afraid to download this out of fear that it'll corrupt all my saves. If I just have vanilla skyrim will I experience any problems here?

I'm playing the Legendary Edition, without any special mods or so.
...Currently, I'm watching quite much birds flying all over (including nights, which is unnatural, birds are not usually flying during night).

Will this mod make even more birds flying all over? Because, I already found there are many birds in the scenes...

When did you download this mod? You said it messed up your game for two weeks. Birds and Flocks mod came out shortly after Bethesda released the Creation Kit, and the Hearthfire version came out shortly after Hearthfire, in 2012. The "Attention" section has been there since the Hearthfire Edition of the mod was launched, which was almost four years ago. I took your post to mean you downloaded the mod two weeks ago, which means the disclaimer was present.

I downloaded this before you put the "attention" section up, I had to clean the game with loot because I couldn't even load into Whiterun! Just move the discription and wa-lah, issue solved! But rather than doing that you are bitching to me because your mod fucked up my game?

How far into the description did you first read before hitting the subscribe button? I didn't feel like three sentences was too deep to place to the disclaimer but maybe I was wrong.

Set at the first line of the disc "(IF YOU HAVE HEARTHFIRE THIS WILL BREAK YOUR GAME)"

I am told today by LOOT that this and its Hearthfire clone is "Obsolete. Update to latest version." I find no Steam Workshop versions apart from these two. I have unsubscribed and deleted from my mod data library at startup. I trust LOOT at this point in gaming more than any individual mod maker. Respectfully

If you have Hearthfire, you need to download the Hearthfire Edition of Birds and Flocks. It is linked to in the bottom of the mod description above.

i need to know since i have all the add ons Heartfire,Dragonborn, and Dawngaurd will it still not work becuase of Heartfire?

It will prevent you from building homes in Hearthire, because the mod affects exterior worldspaces where the houses appear. I recommend you switch to the Hearthfire Edition, as conflicts like this can ruin a lot of your fun if you find out later on there's been a problem all along that can't be resolved except by starting over or restoring.

Just curious, what about this version is not compatible with Hearthfire? I've been using this mod with Legendary Edition for quite some time, and wasn't aware of any problems.

I also have the issue with Windstad Manor never being visible with this mod loaded. I had to unsubscribe and load an earlier game. Shame, because it's a very good mod otherwise.

Honestly something like this should have been built into this bland, boring game... Great mod though! Keep up good work!

No worries man, installed the unofficial patches and it reverted my game to as if I hadn't bought the land in the first place, so problem fixed! Cheers for the replies, especially on such a popular mod

Unfortunately I don't know of any way to recover your house if you don't have any saved games before the mod was activated.
