I'm not sure why, but it seemed quite linear. very fun map tho :)
Mikeastro  [author] 11 Apr, 2020 @ 4:33pm
@Teo Thanks for playing once more :] I'm glad you liked it, even though it's just a little spin on the old fizzler-maze concept. And lol yeah, noticing that definitely helps a little
Teo 11 Apr, 2020 @ 4:31pm
Some quite original moves in these, I really enjoyed them :) Room 1 because a lot easier after I noticed there was a cube
Mikeastro  [author] 29 Oct, 2019 @ 4:24pm
@Spider_Dawg Haha well you did solve the puzzle in the end; that's all that counts :) Glad you enjoyed it
Spider_Dawg 29 Oct, 2019 @ 4:18pm
That was fun. As is so often the case, I over-complicated the second room, this time by counting to six before releasing the cube, so it would land on the button when the funnel timed out . It worked, eventually, but watching the videos caused a self-faceslap.

@kimist108 Thank you!

Fun map!

@tapmage Excellent work! :D
tapmage 5 Nov, 2018 @ 8:36pm
Wha-whoo!! I solved it! Seems like I did it in 30 min, maybe 45. I think the first chamber was 4/10, second chamber was 5/10. Was difficult but fun.
Mikeastro  [author] 18 Oct, 2018 @ 2:57pm
@sembiox Thanks :D Glad you liked it!
sembiox 18 Oct, 2018 @ 2:52pm
This was a fizzler maze that had the unusual characteristic of being great fun. Well done, great combination with the funnel.

@lfairban Thanks :)

A great pair of "Shell Game" puzzles. Some interesting moves here.
Mikeastro  [author] 13 Sep, 2018 @ 3:09pm
@asears16 Thanks a lot for the video! I'm glad you liked it. Sometimes it just takes a moment before it all becomes clear, but solving it in the end is then often only more rewarding :) And yeah, still no clue what the deal was with that cube
asears16 12 Sep, 2018 @ 6:15pm
For some reason I really struggled with this one; especially in the first room. Normally I'm good at fizzler puzzles like these...Nevertheless, I enjoyed the map; nice work. :)

@Nock I'm glad you liked it! It takes most players a few minutes to figure out the second room...
@Deathwish808 ...unlike some other people xD Excellent video! It was only a 4/10 overall on my scale, so indeed no rocket science :)
DeathWish808 10 Sep, 2018 @ 12:25pm
This one was much more straight forward than it looked at first. Nice variation between the two.
Thumbs up.

Room 2 got me for a bit, but I got there in the end. Great variation of the same puzzle :)

@quaternary Thanks ^_^

love it!
Mikeastro  [author] 24 Aug, 2018 @ 1:56pm
@Nobody No-One I would think by adding more cubes and really messing up the connections you could make it quite complicated, and adding more fizzlers would give you more space for puzzling. Let's say I call it semi challenged accepted, for I've actually wondered about this before and I think it is really interesting
Nobody No-One 24 Aug, 2018 @ 1:35pm
That's made me wonder if it's possible to make a 7+/10 difficulty fizzler maze map like this. I feel like they can probably only get to a certain difficulty level without adding too many extra elements.
Mikeastro  [author] 24 Aug, 2018 @ 12:53pm
@leomievs Thank you very much for the video! You indeed figured it out quite quickly, but then again I only rated it a 4/10 :P And you understood it correctly - funny that that was also how Twins was born! I really enjoyed that map, especially the second room ^_^
Leo 24 Aug, 2018 @ 11:47am
Nice! I usually struggle with this type of map, but this one I solved faster than I expected! I like how in the 1st room you have to put a portal in the entrance area first and then proceed to the exit whereas in the 2nd room it's the other way around. If I understood correctly a previous comment you left, you actually created the 2nd room first and then made an unintended solution the solution of the 1st one? It's funny, because this is exactly how I made 'Twins' as well ;) anyway, here's my blind run for you to enjoy!
Mikeastro  [author] 23 Aug, 2018 @ 7:47am
@jgaultney Thanks - I felt like the first room was easier than the second, so I placed it first. I had not expected it would actually send you down a wrong track!
jgaultney 23 Aug, 2018 @ 7:18am
These type of puzzles always give me trouble. I strongly suspect that Room 2 would not
have given me as much trouble had I played it first . :p Thumbs up.
Mikeastro  [author] 23 Aug, 2018 @ 3:43am
@bullfrog Thank you; I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it :)
bullfrog 23 Aug, 2018 @ 2:17am
Great puzzle. I'm not normally a fan of this sort of map, but this was different and I really enjoyed it. The first test-chamber took me longer than it should have done, mainly because I was trying to do something pretty silly, but once I came to my senses all went well. Having learnt what to do in the 1st, the second fell into place quite quickly. Big thumbs up.
Mikeastro  [author] 22 Aug, 2018 @ 4:07am
@jandlml Thanks you :D I'm glad you liked it!
@Nobody No-One Haha I just felt like the obvious unintended solution to the second room deserved its own little puzzle for it helps the player get familiar with the layout :) And thank you very much for the video and the review in the description! I was worried you wouldn't like this one for I thought you said something about this type of maps on "uhh", so I'm happy to see you liked it in the end :D
@Atom Thank you! Indeed the first room is a bit of a warm-up for the second
@lapicidas Thanks! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it!
@Joric Thank you once more for the videos! Your solutions were about intended as usual :D
Joric 22 Aug, 2018 @ 3:29am
@elephantulus what's up with the video quality? Reconsider your recording options you go on an upload schedule. Win+Alt+R in Windows 10 with high quality and 60 fps in settings will do.
Joric 22 Aug, 2018 @ 3:13am
Room 2 playthrough: https://youtu.be/fE_cRM--02o great maps, that's what I like portal 2 for!

lapicidas 21 Aug, 2018 @ 10:43pm
Clever map, espacially the second room! Thumbs up.
Psychological Atom 21 Aug, 2018 @ 10:32pm
Very awesome map! The first chamber is really easy but then the second chamber is the one that got me. I think I need to rest my brain a bit.
Nobody No-One 21 Aug, 2018 @ 8:16pm
Mikeastro, you're spoiling us with so many multi-chamber maps released in such a short time!
I normally dislike "outsmart the fizzler" puzzles, but I enjoyed this one a lot more than I expected.
I recorded my blind playthrough and left more detailed feedback in the description. It's a bit low-quality but hopefully it should do:

wow this kind of map is always really hard for me, but this time i took it one step at a time, looked at each connection(very nicely shown) carefully, and what that will allow me to do next.and i actually finished fairly quickly. i like the added tractor beams ,a new little touch. very nice map!! thumbs way up and faved
